I do not understand the complaints about ID and birth certificate for minors. It's Texas law. Anyway, had a great experience today taking my daughter to get her earlobes pierced. They were very informative and sweet. Would recommend it to anyone with a baby looking to get their ears pierced.

I came in because I got a piercing a couple months ago and there's a bump. I tried to see if I could get the jewelry changed. I spoke with Lauren, and she was so nice and sweet. She gave me some help, and also told me to get into TikTok to look into how to heal my piercing. She told me to give her a call or I can even send a picture to her to see how it is healing. I will definitely go back. The place looked very clean... and ran by women. My type of establishment. read more

I am so happy with our experience! My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced for her 5th birthday. I walked in with her, my best friend and my mother in law. Mo was so welcoming to our whole crew. She made sure my daughter stayed excited and didn't get nervous. Her and her colleague made it as fun and quick as possible! My daughter didn't even flinch or even say ow! I was so impressed and would highly recommend this place, especially the two women that helped us! read more

I took my five year old to get her ears re-pierced and my overall experience was amazing! From the minute we walked in the door until we left, my daughter and I felt super welcomed! Alex was amazing and super kind and patient with my daughter. He talked to her the entire time and made her as comfortable as he could because she was so nervous! We took our daughter to get her ears pierced for her sixth birthday and it was such a great experience! Monica took such great care of our daughter, who was super excited but was also super anxious. She went above and beyond, even going to grab her phone so my daughter could be distracted by watching cartoons on YouTube when my phone wouldn't connect to the wifi. After the first ear was pierced, my daughter instantly began crying but Monica quickly grabbed a mirror to show her how beautiful the new piercing was! She was so reassuring to my daughter and the piercings are still perfect, two months later. As a bonus, this business was super cute and girly inside. Very clean inside too! PS bring your ID and your child's birth certificate. The short form will work just fine. read more

Nice and informative. Went for my little one to get her ears pierced and they do ask for a birth certificate and you need your ID and that is all. Not sure what happened to the previous person below. I didn't have my daughters birth certificate (procrastinated ordering it.) and they accepted her birth facts. They gave my little one a toy to hold on to and keep, and were patient with her between ears. It has been 2 months since her ear piercing and she's healed up (we still clean it regularly) and perfectly placed. Glad we went here. read more

Came here to get seconds on my ear. Staff was very informative and kind. Establishment is clean and organized. They offer a variety of jewelry for sale and the prices aren't outrageous. They do require ID and you have to sign paperwork whilst there but this is standard for any type of piercing place. read more

Went there yesterday spontaneously for a navel piercing. Staff was very nice, the young girl who pierced me (forgot her name, short dark hair) was very nice and reassuring. The vibe of the lady piercing us was very condescending. She then proceeded to pierce both of us with Jewlery that was tarnishing the next morning. His ears got so infected that he now has scar tissue and most likely can't get them done again. She did not clamp the belly which I heard is supposed to be done, she gave me too short of a jewlery piece that my stomach didn't have space to swell to heal that it started to get infected within 4 days. The jewlery was tarnishing by the 3rd day. I was told to clean with antibacterial soap and it would never get infected or reject. After about a week and half later I called to see if they could give me a better piece of jewlery because mine was tarnishing. They told me I would have to buy another piece of jewlery and pay for service and didn't seem concerned as to what they did. I then went to the lucky duck shop in Pasadena where they took me in right before they closed and only charged me 10$ for a new piece of Jewlery. Bad experience here at Gypsy rose

The Piercing Parlor exceeded my expectations! 10/10 If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, top-notch, and welcoming piercing parlor - don't bother looking any further! The staff radiates smiles and good vibes. Upon walking in, Nicole greeted me. She engaged me with friendliness right from the start of the process. The paperwork was organized and took no time at all. The pricing was reasonable - I ended up spending less than I had set aside. There were a plethora of piercing-earring choices and I had to take the time to consider which one I liked the best! (I picked out the rose gold hearts that I hadn't noticed until they were pointed out as smaller versions of the one I was wearing and would make a cute triad of hearts.) The piercing is done in a private room with breezy colors of blue and soft white. There's a little station to the side that holds the piercing equipment. I sat on a raised hospital-grade chair/bench/super comfy/maybe it's actually for a geriatrics room - lounger. Nicole showed me all the different options for the two cartilage piercings I got to join the current one. She never rushed me and showed me options I had not even considered. We landed on one above and one below. The process was smooth and painless because it only hurt at the point of piercing and for maybe an hour after - tops. At any rate, by the time I was home - the low to begin with pain had evaporated. Nicole explained the process - including the clamp to make sure the piercings were straight and the breathing technique she would guide me through to minimize the initial pain and remove any surprise. Nicole went over the simple care for my healing and adorable new piercings. I was also provided with a useful and simple pamphlet for aftercare. Suffice it to say, my new piercings are perfect! Straight, painless, and cute earrings. The cleanliness was top-top. The parlor is done in sea-foam blues and has a warm, bright, ambiance. Plus, Nicole is the coolest, kindest, and most genuine person. 10/10 If you're looking for a comfortable, clean, top-notch, and welcoming piercing parlor - don't bother looking any further! read more

From what I've learned, a septum piercing should never take that long, and the placement should always be checked first. I went in with my friend to get 2 cartilage piercing and when he pierced me he didn't use a clamp…read moreand then decided to use a butterfly back instead of a flat back which for a new piercing will cause infection because it's hard to clean around it and it gives no room for swelling. I went to the tattoo shop to have someone take a look and upon farther inspection they were both pierced with a super bad angle and only one of the two piercings were salvageable. I had him re pierce the salvageable piercing with a flat back and I have to wait for the other hole to close so I can then get my other piercer to re pierce it. Really disappointed as I paid $100 for these piercing at valor which I feel is already super expensive and they didn't even know how to pierce correctly.

Got some peircings done by Versace, a wonderful man, a scholar, and a gentleman. We went to the shop to get a simple tattoo seen in photo below, tattooer laid a stencil, completely blew the lines out and we left knowing it was bad but not realizing just how terrible it would end up. The guy needs to go mow lawns or something not put crappy tattoo's on people to walk around with for the rest of their lives... or maybe go trace things on a piece of paper for practice first. I initially respected ownership for at-least refunding the money but now he's upset that I left this bad review. Crazy to be upset with a customer for leaving a legitimate bad review and not your staff member who did the work, right? Last thing I'll say, maybe get rid of the guy immediately if you have any sense and don't want a bad look for the shop? Word travels fast around here. The reality is he doesn't give quality tattoo's so that is completely on ownership whether or not they decide to allow it at this point.
