And the first in this millennium so that gives you an idea. It all started when a few years ago (~2019) a few friends were talking that if the Astros won another World Series we'd get a tattoo. Well guess what happened. And as someone who goes to 20+ games a year AND all the postseason games (including heart breaking World Series losses recently), I was definitely excited about fulfilling the bet. I found Mainline as recommendation from fellow Yelper Troy who I knew (visually) was experienced in the reception of art. He recommended Mainline. Top run professional operation. I reached out on Facebook to see what was needed for reservations and the response was more or less that unless I had an artist in mind, walking in was just as easy. They do have their artist work on Instagram or Facebook but, again, beginner here, I walked in. Took a bit of time to be greeted as they were busy (no worries, just hang out they'll come up). Erick (a.k.a. "El Chuco") was glad to help and we walked through the design. He rendered it visually and we agreed on the colors, shading etc. He got prepped and off we went. In my mind it would be very logo-ish (Star, H, some lettering) but he took it to a new level with shading, some blue bursts behind it, and artistic flavor. Loved it. Being white, the orange and white colors needed the blue burst behind. All of the logistics were professional. Very clean. Very meticulous in the art. Thorough with the care. It healed quickly with absolutely no degradation just something you get what you pay for. The aftercare recommendations were perfect with no complications. Would definitely go back. Don't ask me about price, seemed very reasonable considering this is a professional operation not a corner store.

I have been going to this tattoo shop for piercings for years and today I was denied service…read morebecause of my service dog. I feel as though this is completely unprofessional and it is discrimination. My dog and I have been in there a few different times over the years and not once have we ever had a problem. All I did today was walk in the door and one of the employees walked up to me and told me my service dog was not allowed and when I let him know that he could not legally deny my service dog he completely denied me service. My dog and I were not being disruptive in any way and the employee didn't even know what I had come in for before these events took place. Just know if you have a disability this is not the place for you!

I went in with my friend to get 2 cartilage piercing and when he pierced me he didn't use a clamp…read moreand then decided to use a butterfly back instead of a flat back which for a new piercing will cause infection because it's hard to clean around it and it gives no room for swelling. I went to the tattoo shop to have someone take a look and upon farther inspection they were both pierced with a super bad angle and only one of the two piercings were salvageable. I had him re pierce the salvageable piercing with a flat back and I have to wait for the other hole to close so I can then get my other piercer to re pierce it. Really disappointed as I paid $100 for these piercing at valor which I feel is already super expensive and they didn't even know how to pierce correctly.

Come to find out they were only taking 40 guests for the Friday the 13th flash deal. We were numbers 37,38, and 39 -several potential customers were turned away during our wait. There were 4 artists that day and we waited about an hour and a half. I watched some super awesome pieces of work come in/out. The female artist in the first room was creating fabulous realistic insect pieces. I watched her do a moth on a knee cap and a slug on an inner arm. Detail was amazing! Jake/Jacob did fantastic work on us. He was very professional. Very fast yet didn't compromise quality.
