It also speaks about the work ethics. They will provide you only what you need rather then selling you beauty services or products . All other staff members are also expert at what they do. The warm green makes you have very "natural" vibes and you step into a pod with a reclining kind of barber shop style chair and it feels kind of like you're on another planet (in a good way). They have the famous red light bathroom you can take a picture in too. I had the Hydrate and Glow facial and had the option of just relaxing or having each step explained. Since I barely get facials I wanted to know what was being done and I felt very cared for! I'm looking forward to seeing my results. I was in and out in 30 minutes. There is no option to tip, too! I received a confirmation email, and a COVID-19 questionnaire via email as well. Lots of parking too, it's located in a little plaza in Richmond. I didn't know what to expect since it was my very first time getting a facial, and I was immediately impressed by the interior/decor at the front desk reception area when I walked in. It's very modern/earthy/chic (eg. white walls, natural plants)- and definitely feels very calming and relaxing. I booked my appointment with Lisa Liang for a La Cachette Signature Facial, and she was very sweet and patient as she walked me through what to expect. Bonus: The washroom are gorgeously decorated as well, and very very clean. The facial lasts a full 1 hour and 15mins or so. The rooms have soft ambient music playing, and the heavy sheets are super super comfortable - you could easily take a nap! I'm not well versed in their products, but various cleansers, exfoliant and peels are gently massaged into my face. Mines ended with a cold jelly mask thing. They use a lot of G.M. Collin skincare products (I also got 2 samples on my way out). My favourite part was starting and ending with a deep breathing exercise with essential oils, and also a little face/head massage at the end. The La Cachette Signature Facial regular price is $135, but I went for a limited time 50% off promo. Overall, it was a very pleasant & relaxing experience. Could have been a one time deal, but maybe they still honour it, I'm not sure! I got in and the staff were so lovely. The spa is gorgeous... The owner is this beautiful lady and she was the perfect person to see for my injections since I was getting them in my jaw line to reduce jaw clenching pain and to thin out the jaw line. She really knew what she was doing. Her assistant was the sweetest guy ever and we laughed a lot. 2 weeks later, my jaw is no longer in excruciating pain and my face is looking more thin. Takes 3-6 weeks to experience the full effect. Would totally recommend this place for Dysport injections!

Not a big deal, but if you are expecting complete privacy/quiet, you should not expect it. For myself, it didn't matter, and I still found myself feeling deeply relaxed. I thought the service was pretty good. They spend probably 15 minutes going over your treatment plan and explaining their process and products. Yes, you still get a full hour of treatment time. I found the angle of the reclining chair a bit uncomfortable on my neck at first, but the head scrub was soooooo relaxing, it didn't matter much lol. They were running their Boxing Day sale, so the treatment came to $225 including taxes, but regular price would have been $300 incl taxes. While my scalp felt fantastic and my hair felt squeaky clean, I am not sure that it is worth $225- $300 plus tip, unless you had money to burn. But if you do have money to burn, or want to give yourself or someone an extravagant treat, then go for it. I think that if I did this treatment regularly, my hair might improve from the increased circulation, but I am not entirely convinced that it is their specific products and techniques vs someone rubbing your head with any kind of lotions/serums/oils and washing it lovingly for an hour, lol. One final note: absolutely DO NOT book this before going out for an event, as you leave with hair that has zero product in it, and will be blown dry as if your dad did it for you. As in, efficiently, but with zero attention to styling. So book this when you are planning on going home and flopping on the couch, lol.

Read before you buy:…read more Short update to what has been a ridiculous saga in regards to Skoah. I have had to write this with aid of legal counsel because I am filing charges. I previously left two reviews, one from a year ago detailing that Skoah is refusing to cancel my membership citing a contract that does not exist; I then left one a year later complaining that Skoah randomly after a year started charging me regularly again. They refused to cash refund this despite their error and it ended in me being handed a gift card mid convo. I am a public figure and do alot of work for this city, both charity and also free - in Skoah's case, I set up skincare businesses and did free marketing for their past employees completely for free because I am about community. I made a singular Instagram story stating they owe me $300, and that the entirety of the weekend one of their employees had been completely stalking my social medias watching every upload. This was particularly creepy to me seeing as they get all this information off my confidential Skoah membership profile, and serves as my primary point of contestion with what they claimed. About two hours later (I was not home, neighbors detailed this to us), three VPD officers showed up to my home in Kitsilano in an extremely loud fashion and, by my neighbors exact words, intimidated the neighborhood and their elderly wife specifically (refusing to state why.) My new address is not yet on public records, meaning Skoah gave them my confidential membership information. They did this knowing who I am, mind you, because the branch knows me quite well and I was a multi year regular previously. There was no warrant, subpoena, or anything of the sorts (obviously so since nothing occurred and I have not physically entered a Skoah since 2024.) Aside from the obvious, which is that this was a fraudulent police report filed in order to stop me from making people aware the brand owes me $300+ and to prevent me from pursuing charges in that moment, I would also like to share a further detail I discovered about Skoah that should just about stop anyone in their tracks when considering a membership purchase. In order to amicably resolve the situation, I asked my legal counsel to provide me contact information for Skoah's ownership group - on their public website, they list a man and a woman - the man had no public social medias and the woman had one naming Skoah, so we made contact and asked if we could resolve the matter amicably. She turned out to be a very nice, respectable lady who let me know that not only has she not been with Skoah since 2021 (and that her attempts to remove public association have been ignored), but that the man is someone who pushed her out of ownership of the company years ago when she developed stage 4 cancer - something that I am now gonna support her with in my own time because they clearly never did. I would suggest avoiding this Skoah entirely, it is run by and employed with dishonest people. I plan on resolving this matter through legal channels, and will now have to also address the criminality of taking such avenues. Something additionally hilarious that occurred: I recently listed the Skoah gift card on FB, just to find out from a potential buyer that they are seeking Skoah gift cards out because the brand consistently charges his card on file extra most months. The jokes write themselves.
