I started going here about 18 months ago and am fully satisfied this is the place for me. After…read moretrying many different spas and facials as well as several high end skin care lines I still wasn't happy with my dull, blotchy and congested skin. Since I've started going to SKN I've had a few different facials and have made the gradual switch to using most of their facial products line. The facials immediately made my skin feel so much better, moisturized and smooth. I enjoy the calming and peacefulness of the treatment rooms and the professionalism of the staff. I'm sure they're all great but Danielle is my favourite; so knowledgeable, professional, kind and really listens to try and figure out what is best for you. She was able to diagnose and start treating the part of my facial skin I disliked the most right away (melasma discolored skin due to sun/hormones). I am genuinely happy with my skin now. The goal in my mind when I went there was to eventually feel comfortable going without makeup on any given day - mission accomplished! It's no longer something I think about besides when I'm using my products and feeling thankful for them and the hard work they do. I should note one of the things that impressed me the most about SKN was the lack of pressure to buy products. During facials they inquire as to what you use on your skin and appear to try to work with what you've got but suggest a few small changes. I also left my first facial with several samples, which was very helpful as I could see if it was a routine that worked for me (it totally did, very easy). I've also tried their laser hair removal and highly recommend it, minimally painful and again, professional and thorough. Given the quality of the technicians, space, products, service and overall experience I find that their prices are reasonable. They also have an online product store now (pick up or have it delivered) and they seem to have monthly specials on products and services. If you're unhappy with your skin and ready to do something about it please don't wait any longer - just make an appointment. Thanks to the crew at SKN and keep up the great work!

Update after 6 day:…read more After 10 minutes, having finished my 5-minute appointment, I decided that I wanted to speak with the manager, as I was not satisfied with my experience with Ariel. The front desk staff told me they would ask the manager to call me on Wednesday. I went there on Sunday, a week after waiting for the call, but they never contacted me or addressed my concerns. I am extremely disappointed with the Ultherapy treatment. It made no noticeable difference, and I observed no improvement at all. When clients mention that they do not see results, the staff only suggests purchasing another treatment or trying a different service. It seems their focus is solely on making money rather than genuinely caring about their customers.

Therefore, I decided to find it if he can help. Free consultation! My appt was booked at 4pm, I arrived 10 mins early to fill out few papers work. However, I was waiting at consultation room over 25 mins until a lady (consultant assistant) came in then asked me some general questions and noted down my answers. I waited for another 10 mins, Dr Ngai came in finally. He reviewed the notes and checked out my face, then asked me few more questions. He gave me few prescription creams and let me try for 2 weeks, then come back to see the process. I will update the review after my 2nd visit.

I asked the receptionist if their website is working and she told me it's better to call...Then, what's the point of having an online inquiry system? SUCH A WASTE OF TIME. The $60 consultation was very short, about 5 min and the doctor left in a hurry. However, you can use this fee towards your treatment if you decide to go for it, unlike many other places that charge a separate fee. My appointment was at 11:30am and I was 5 min early, but I waited for 40 min before the laser treatment. It's very unfair to punish those who are on time by helping those who are late for their appointment.

My most recent appointment was following some services re-opening in Vancouver with new Covid-19 protocols. As expected they have made the clinic very safe and I felt very secure and not concerned visiting with all of their health protocols in place - temperature checks, health forms before appointments, gloves, masks, cleaning, staggered appointments, etc. I've had treatments with Kendra, Savannah, Bob, and Dr. Angela and always leave feeling great, happy, and beautiful! Everyone on the team is very knowledgeable, professional, and super friendly! The space itself is modern and very clean, and the front desk women always have a warm demeanor and greet you as soon as you enter. They also have many great skincare products - with many online sales and quick delivery. Their prices for their treatments are very fair and I will continue to support this local small business frequently!

I was having excess underarm sweat and couldn't wear gray t-shirt, but I have not problem to wear it today! I was supposed to go back to the clinic to check if I should do 2nd Miradry but because of Covid-19, I needed to go to my home country to stay with my family so I haven't been able to go back there Also, Dr.Kumar did Botox injections for my jaw. The procedure took only 1min and the pain was not that bad. I got 50units of Botox but the result was not big change so I will get little bit more for next time! He is very personable and really knows what he's doing. he strives for perfection and balance and achieves this because he takes his time. I am a 37 year old full time work mother of 2, and was so tired of looking exhausted! Makeup and…read morecoverup can only do so much! And to be honest, the window I had to do my makeup was so small that most of the time it was just slapped on to try and cover bags, dark circles etc! I decided it was time to put myself first for a change, and went for a consultation with Malvina and Dr. Brock. I was very nervous as this is not something I ever thought of doing, and to be honest I felt guilty getting "work" done. It felt like something celebrities do, not normal Moms like me! Dr. Bock and Melvina however put my concerns to rest immediately. They spent a ton of time explaining the different processes and procedures, products etc. They listened carefully to the area of concern I had on my face and helped me prioritize where I should focus filler and botox work to maximize the results, keep the look very natural and keep the costs within/below my budget. On the day of the procedure Dr. Brock and Helen explained everything that was to happen and very slowly proceeded with adding filler to my eye troughs so I was comfortable with how things were going and looking. I loved the results so much I asked if I could extend my appointment and add some filler to my lips (which they did, and I love)! I am so happy with the results. They are so natural that when I returned to work right afterwards no one noticed, but literally later that day I started to get comments, like wow you look great today, you are looking do fresh and happy today, did you get a good night sleep etc etc. I plan on doing regular visits to the team to maintain the natural and youthful appearance they have provided me! My only regret is that I didn't go in sooner. Just like filler and botox, writing reviews is something I have never done before, but I am just so happy with the results and how the whole team treated me from start to finish, that I wanted to share the message in case other "put everyone before myself" moms out there are looking to do a little something for themselves, and bring back their youthful appearance like before we had kids and sleepless nights!

My first visit to Skinworks was around 6 months ago, to consult with Dr.'s on Breast Augmentation,…read moreTummy Tuck and Lip Injections. A full "mommy make over" and I was impressed from day one! It started with booking a consult and the front desk gals where very friendly and accomodating in getting me back to back appointments with both Dr.'s, on the same day. I was nervous to be there... but everyone made me feel so comfortable and ZERO judgment was given! I was so excited by the end of the lip consultation that I went for it right then and there! Dr. Frances Jang was incredible! I was very impressed with her obvious skill level and she noticed things about my face right away that only I have ever seen as an annoyance, like how one of my eyebrows always arches when I speak but the other one dosen't! So not only did I walk out of there with beautifully proportioned lips but also a ton more of self confidence. :) My consultation with Dr. Nick Carr was not much different. For starters he is a man! lol.. But I have never honestly felt more comfortable in an un-comfortable moment, in my life. He is lovely, professional and well decorated in awards for his work. The whole process was done with grace. I first met with a female Dr. and I am embarrassed to have forgotten her name, because she is probably the main reason I found the courage to go through with the surgery. She made me feel so comfortable by being very positive, excited for me, sincere and information was delivered with great confidence. I knew I was in good hands! I booked my surgery date that day!! :) So as I sit here and write this, I am actually 6 days post-Op!! and couldn't be happier. I am still swollen and bruised so I can't speak to the end result but I can tell they will be good!! I thought I would have more bruises and scars on my body and breasts then I do and can't believe how incredible the body is at healing itself!! My advice to you, as I am sure you are reading my review in contemplation of it all.... is that for whatever reasons you have decided that plastic surgery or non-plastic surgery (botox etc..) may be the thing you need or want, then go for it!! WITH THESE GUYS! I am sure there are plenty of other great Dr's out there but hands down, you will be in great, loving hands with Skin Works from beginning to end! On that note...I hope you found what you were looking for in my review and if you do go forward, make sure you have someone you love and trust to help you with the post-op at home, especially if you are doing any kind of abdominal/stomach surgery as you will need someone that can support the dead weight of your upper body when getting you in and out of bed for a few days. Managing pain through proper medication dosing is vital as well. There are alot of meds that are perscibed to help you recover and it is important that they be organized and taken properly which basically means, every 2 hours for the first few days. My friend came up with a ziplock bag system with the times written on them. Brilliant! Buy some night gowns with buttons (a must have!) tons of books and wipe your slate clean for 1 week. :)

They said even if they missed it, they would not cover the areas they missed for free; they want to charge us extra for parts they missed and messed up. This is incredibly expensive treatment for just removing skin tags, charging $400/person. They also offered a free skin care facial, they made me walk out with still product on my face. The procedure literately only takes 1 min too.... I dont know how much skills it involves from a doctor.
