    Traditional Pork Soup Dumplings
    Judy L.

They specialize in handmade dumplings and fresh cut noodles, rooted in time honored Chinese culinary traditions, prepared daily with care, passion, and premium ingredients. This location is clean, open, and inviting. You can see the Chef making the noodles from the glass window. We had 5 of us, they sat us at this huge round table, it works and we order A LOT of food. We each had a bowl of Slow Cooked Braised Beef Noodle Soup (we each got our different cuts of noodles. Noodles come in thin, regular, thick, and chive-wide, wide, and extra wide. This was the best out of all the things we ordered! We also got and shared: Chicken Potstickers, Scallion Pancake, Beef Burrito, Traditional Pork Soup Dumplings, Chicken & Corn Dumplings, & Shrimp Egg & Pork Dumplings. The best flavor was the slow cooked braised beef noodle soup, the soup, the beef, and of course the fresh cut noodles. The chicken potstickers were not handmade, those are the normal frozen and fried from a manufacturer. However the chicken and corn dumplings were very good. The Traditional Pork Soup dumplings and beef burrito were a no go. Everything else was ok. The service was ok. The lady server bought the beef burrito dish then came back later to take it back and said they forgot the sauce. 15 mins later she never came back. We flagged the other server down and ask him about it. We saw them review our order and discuss. Then 15 more mins before they bought a newly made beef burrito back. The lady server knowing the Chef made the wrong chicken dumplings and still bought it to the table and told us to take it. We told her we wanted the chicken and corn dumplings tho, she had an attitude and told us it is 20 mins for new ones.

Popped in for early lunch on a Sunday. I was the only one there and was not greeted with a smile. I was hoping to adapt a few snacks but they weren't keen on modifications. I ended up ordering the truffle pork dumplings and a cup of egg drop and crab meat soup. It was good and unique. Definitely an aftertaste of crab. No crispies for the soup unfortunately. I really wanted just a side of broth and noodles but that wasn't a possible side order. Love that the soup was served very hot and flavorful. Only a few shreds of crab toward the bottom. The dumplings were served hot and delicious! Juice! I would have enjoyed a touch more of a truffle flavor. It was pretty faint but nevertheless good and worth the wait. I'm not sure I was eating them correctly because the juices were dripping out as I but into them. Would have loved a friendly tip. Ended up using my soup spoon to eat these to preserve some of the juice. I probably wouldn't order this again just because not truffle adjacent enough and a bit messy but glad tried it. I kindly asked if they had a side of truffle oil I could dip into for more of a truffle flavor. I was told they did not. While staff were responsive when I asked for them, they did no proactively check on me or the one other table there during my time. I did ask them for more napkins and sauce. Atmosphere was cool. Love that they have a community table and bar which shows for meeting people, although bar seating was not set up when I arrived. Love the unique menu options. Would definitely come back to taste more things. Just hope for a warmer, more inviting service experience. Fyi, the outside glass is marked with $12.99 lunch which I was looking forward to getting but server let me know matter-of-factly that it is not available on Sundays.

Pretty busy on a weekend, but we did not have to wait. As a party of 6 we had a good experience. Order the soup noodles! I ordered the soup dumplings and green beans. The soup dumplings were good but I really wish I ordered the specialty noodle soup instead #FOMO. The green beans were a hit, same with the cucumber salad. I am no stranger to cucumber salad, but this place adds cilantro which is a great variation! The service took longer for some items but we received the noodle soups and cucumbers immediately. We had a large party and we did not have any issues. The staff was accommodating. I will be back, maybe at their Gilbert location to try the noodle soups.

What a find! We loved this place. Cozy spot for dumplings and noodles. My husband and kids were very happy. The kids dined on beef chow mein and pork dumplings. We ate the pork truffle soup dumplings which burst in your mouth. I can't wait to try the other soup dumpling options. The chili won tons were insanely delicious, we used that sauce for everything. We also had the salt and pepper wings and black pepper beef cubes. I would order all of it and more next time!

Walking into Bing Bistro's Scottsdale location felt like stepping into China. The friendly Chinese staff greeted us with smiles and Mandarin, and through the open kitchen, we watched a few Chinese uncles hand-pulling noodles while chatting with me about where I'm from. It just feels like home. (although the Chinese auntie sitting next to our table was eavesdropping our conversation the entire time did not appreciate that) We ordered the hand-pulled noodles, truffle and pork dumplings, and a few appetizers. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and authentically Chinese which is one of a kind in the Phoenix area, where most spots either lean Cantonese or Szechuan and they taste oddly similar like coming from the same package. I'd absolutely come back, but only to the Scottsdale location. Somehow, the Gilbert one just doesn't compare.

We ordered soup dumplings, beef noodle soup, and pork sandwich. The beef noodle soup was flavorful, but the beef was sliced beef instead of chucks, I liked the broth but the noodles tasted not too special. The pork soup dumplings had weird pink color, and tasted a little bit oily. The pork sandwich was good, I liked the layers of the bun, and the pork with peppers were spot on. Overall, I think it was overpriced consider about the food and prices, but still an option for Chinese carving.

This was my first time here and the food, The food was amazing! I truly loved everything we ate. There were some dumplings and cucumber salads and something else I forgot to take a picture of because I was too busy stuffing it down my throat. Decoratively, nothing spectacular but I was there for the food anyway. I will definitely be back with my girlfriends to try more food.

Bing Bistro has big potential here without many competitors in the area. I miss going to hand pulled noodle place in Mesa that closed down. Bing Bistro is much closer for me so I was excited. Tried them twice so far; various dishes including their beef noodle soup, XLB, veggies, and Dan Dan noodles. First time, everything seemed little bland, and second time it was bit salty. Having been opened two months, I hope to see some improvements. I will return in couple months to see if there are any improvements. There were many Asian diners when we were there. Service is excellent and dining room was very clean and comfortable. Enjoy!

I am so confused why this only has 3.5 stars. This place everything that we tried was amazing! I was so excited to try this place and was hesitant because of the 3.5 stars, but I'm so happy I decided to come and try it for myself. I'm a huge fan of Din Tai Fung, so my expectations weren't high. You can watch them make the noodles and dumplings through the plexiglass. Their hand cut noodles were so delicious. I got the broccoli, green beans and bok choy. All was flavored, so good and garlic and seasoning and was cooked to perfection with a little crunch. We also got the cucumber salad which was very refreshing. We tried the soup dumplings and regular dumplings. We got pork, pork & shrimp and beef & onions. The filling in the dumplings were very savory and seasoned to perfection. The only callout I will say is, I felt like the dumplings were a little undercooked because the dough didn't have a strong consistency and was breaking apart very easily but other than that, the dumplings were fantastic. We also got the short ribs and it was super savory and very tender. I'm definitely going to be a regular here, lol they will know me by first name very soon.

Bing Bistro Local small business in North Scottsdale serving mainly Taiwanese style Chinese Food. Very nicely done interior, with limited seating due to 2 large family style tables. They make fresh noodles in house which you can't get much fresher. You can watch the "Noodle Master" do their thing and sling around the freshly tossed noodles. Traditional Pork Soup Dumplings or Xiao Long Bao XLB are good size and steaming hot. Another fresh hand made dish and would say one of their signature dishes. Chicken and Corn Dumplings kind of like a potstickers dumpling was good, probably would pass next time. Beef Chow Fun noodles are definitely freshly made and the texture and taste very much indicated that. Good mix of beef, bean sprouts and onions. Shanxi Chili Oil Noodles another dish I would generally not order, but my daughter wanted to try it. It is good but would probably order another dish next time to try other items, not to say it was bad, but not a dish I would consider must have. Orange Chicken you think of fast food Panda Express, but their Orange Chicken is definitely a level above, ask my daughter who lives on PE Orange Chicken and she very much liked this version. A-Chow Garlic very well done, not usually an A Chow fan, but with the right amount of garlic kicks it up a notch. Wonton Noodles has shrimp around 4 Wonton, bok choy, green onions. The broth is simple with lite taste, good amount of noodles, but noodles are a little bland. Prefer egg noodles with wonton. Wanted to like this place, freshly made noodles, hand tossed, except the noodles are just a little tasteless. Alot of their noodle dishes are just below expectations

Came here with a friend for lunch. There was plenty of parking, and the place felt really open with high ceilings and lots of space. The seating wasn't the most comfortable, but it was fine. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We tried the beef noodles, soup dumplings, chili oil wontons, and pork potstickers. They make their own noodles here, which we thought were really good. The beef noodles were okay, nothing special. The chili oil wontons were a bit too sweet for me, and the soup dumpling skin was a little on the thick side. We ended up ordering a few more things to take home for the family to try. Overall, it was decent, some things we liked, some not so much.

First time trying Bing for the lunch special. You have to ask for that menu otherwise you'll just get the regular menu. You select an appetizer, a dish and a drink. I picked a pork egg roll and my companion picked the spicy cucumber salad. The cucumber salad wins. Delicious. Also available non spicy. The pork eggroll was not greasy but nothing I would order again. My main was the wonton soup with shrimp. Delicious broth with scallions cilantro, bok choy. Nice! Companion ordered kung pow Chicken and chose the fried rice at no extra charge. The chicken was a little tough, overcooked but with good flavor and spice. The fried rice had a wonderful flavor despite it being vegetarian. I can just imagine how delicious it would be with pork. We were served by a nice lady and gentleman. They were efficient and only came by when we had a question or issue. The have the fanciest chopsticks. Very cool. Come by and try them. We need lots of Chinese restaurants around.

Recommend: Yes Service: Nice but a bit slow Food: Food was good. The handmade noodles were really good! I like the wide noodles. Ambience: clean, but it kinda felt like it wasn't all done yet. The bar sitting area is not used at all. It's really nice to see AZ is getting more unique restaurants. The handmade noodles were all very good and perfect texture. The soups that we had all had great flavor. I feel like you can't really go wrong anywhere or what type of noodles. Definitely give it a trip if u never had hand pull noodles.

If it weren't for the gravy the noodles would have been very crispy. The noodles do soak up the gravy and softened a lot of them. I thought the meal was good but not outstanding. It was rather bland and some Sriracha helped. A little more gravy would have helped. I'd say stick to their rice dishes as they seem to excel in this department. Shared parking lot.

That said if I lived closer and they had a lunch special I'd be eating here at least once a week. The food is some of the best Chinese food I've had in AZ and sadly it took me over 30 years here to find it. When you walked in the restaurant you are greeted by a very friendly hostess and seated at a table with real tablecloths and napkins. This is not a hole in the wall restaurant. Some of my favorite restaurants are holes in the wall. I digress. They have a nice bar area and the obligatory fish tank. Once seated we were greeted by a man who brought us crispy won ton strips and sauces as well as water. Shortly afterwards we we greeted by our server Maya. She was friendly and very helpful. We ordered soup, egg rolls, Mongolian beef and pork fried rice. Maya said she would bring out the soup first followed by the egg rolls and then the entrees if that was acceptable to us. First the soup. We tried the hot and sour as well as the won ton. Bothe very good. The hot and sour as well as the wonton had chicken. The won ton had shrimp and vegetables as well. Before the egg rolls came out they cleared the soup bowls. The egg rolls. I've been looking for real egg rolls in az for 30 years. Crisp wrappers. Stuffed with fresh and crispy veggies, shrimp and BBQ pork pieces. Not soggy veggies and ground meat. The only thing missing is that hint of peanut butter that you get in a real Chicago egg roll. But I guess that's why they call it a NY egg roll. If you've ever been to Wo Hop in NYC you will feel right at home with these egg rolls. I almost forgot. They bring you a knife. Without having to ask. They do ask if you want chopsticks. The Mongolian beef. Very tender and slightly sweet sauce with a bit too many onions. Could it be better. Yes. But for AZ it's a 4. What would make it better if it were slightly crispy and spicy. And fewer onions and more beef. But we were pleasantly surprised. Finally the pork fried rice. Probably some of the best fried rice I've had in AZ. I didn't have to ask for no carrots or peas. There weren't any. There was a bit too much egg but that's a personal thing. The rice was the right texture and the pork was very good as well. Get the fried rice. We weren't rushed. The staff was very friendly and the food was about as good as it gets in AZ. The cons are it's not inexpensive. But it is worth it as long as you can part with the cash. I don't know why it only averages 3 1/2 stars based on my experience. I will be back. At least once a month.
