It's now called Bing Bing's Dumplings. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. We left there wishing we had room to try more things, and are already figuring out how to come back even though we live a couple hours away. The fried beef bao were highly flavored, included some cellophane noodles in them, and had plenty of delicious liquefied fat inside, kind of like a soup dumpling. We also had the steamed shrimp dumplings, which were the perfect mochi-gummy texture, and actually tasted like shrimp. For dessert we shared the fried sesame balls, which were correctly fried---nice and light and crispy outside. The sesame paste filling had a clear flavor which was separate from the taste of the outside. It's a tiny place, only about 15 or so chairs inside, and 2 outside. No frills. (None needed!) I think this restaurant was fairly good. I think in comparison to a lot of similar places this definitely has one of the lower price points. I liked all of the dumplings. The service was really great. The only thing I did not prefer is the pork pan fried dumpling. The outside was thick and had a nice fry on it, however, the inside meat was somewhat dense and didn't have a lot of flavor. I like how casual this place is and it has cute decor. We ordered ahead on DoorDash for pick up so it would be ready when we arrived so we could immediately eat before the concert. Unfortunately, the prices are high for what you get. We ordered Pork Chives Dumpling Steamed ($14.95), Beef Pan Fried Bao ($15.95) and one soda ($3). The food was promptly ready and service was kind. They had cute artwork on the wall and the menu was easy to read (good ambiance). The parking lot was super small though. But I can't overlook how terrible the food was. The dumplings were liquidy inside but also dry. The pork was flavorless and there was too much dumpling as opposed of the pork ratio. The skin was too thick as well. The dipping sauce was good though. The bao were oily and filled with rice noodles too? I didn't try the bao but my hubby said I wouldn't like them as I wasn't feeling the best (not related to the food). After seeing good reviews, my friend and I stopped by Panda Dumpling this past Friday for dinner. We ordered up front, and all of our food came out (one at a time) within 15 minutes. The interior is casual, more so a cafe than a restaurant, and we didn't have a hard time finding somewhere to sit and eat. PORK CHIVES DUMPLINGS (6 PC, STEAMED) - 11.98 There was plenty of filling in each one (pretty good marinade and flavor) but we didn't like how thick the skin was. It was too doughy. I'm unsure if I'd order these again. PORK SOUP DUMPLING (6 PC) - 8.98 The skin was thinner, but still too thick for soup dumplings. The flavor was fine, but I didn't think there was a whole lot of soup in them. They were fine. Nothing to rave about or recommend to others. BEEF NOODLE SOUP - 15.98 I asked for no cilantro, and I was given noodles and slices of beef. I expected there to be a few pieces of bok choy because it looked really sad without it. The noodles were on the thicker side, but soaked up the broth well. The broth was OK -- it's a bit too salty for me to enjoy sipping on. The beef was tender, and there were plenty of slices. The portion size is small for the cost. This was alright, but not one I would order again. My friend got the GYUDON that she enjoyed. She said the beef was tender and flavorful. At the end, the owner gave us some an iced tea (I think it was lychee-rose) on the house, which was pretty refreshing! I personally would get this again in the future. The food and service are so good! Everything was freshly made and piping hot. We got two types of dumplings, fried shrimp, and fried chicken. Their steamed and pan-fried dumplings are both amazing. I love the texture of the wrapper and you can tell it's homemade. I loved how they didn't use a lot (if any) frozen, pre-made stuff you see in most restaurants. Will be back! read more

On a warm afternoon, this was a brief detour before heading home so I decided I should get some Pork Soup Dumplings. It was almost empty where I saw only saw two patreons and a few of the staff up at the counter. The first thing I noticed is that you can order through a touch screen or have someone take your order up front. It's great that you have options to tackle how you'd like to order. Since I got Pork Soup Dumplings I didn't wait too long for it. They came out steaming hot so I know it was made fresh. Eating them with the plastic spoons and chopsticks became a bit of a challenge but it was delicious. I wish the Pork soup dumplings had more soup to them but it was savory and almost made me want to order food to be honest. I'm not sure if the hype has died down for this place or I came when it was slow; definitely a good time to visit regardless. I think I will come back to try more of their food and their drinks one day! read more

My 1st time visiting the **NEW** still under Soft Opening: Panda Dumpling here in Vienna. The murals are cute and counter booth are pretty well maintained. There's ONLY four (4) reserved restaurant parking spaces in the front off Chain Bridge. Came in late lunch around 1:46 P.M. and they had only 1-2 customers... I was expecting a better dish, but basically Gyudon Beef is Rice bowl of Beef Bulgogi. It's $15.96 price which seemed too expensive for the typical bulgogi beef with steam white rice. The Sesame Balls are the typical miniature sesame seed with peanut butter filling snacks that you can get at any Buffett restaurants. For this dish I would have just suggested going to H-Mart sit-in food hall and you would have saved $15 more. They should add a Chicken Katsu rice dish. I might order the Pork dumpling with Chives dumpling to go, but it's $10. For three items for $31 I expected better or more unique flavors.. Please lower your pricing. read more

Stopped by here earlier today to try out this new restaurant in my town. This place is used to be Mochi Bubble Tea. This is still in soft opening which I can understand afterward. Originally, I have planned to dine in but after seeing how busy the place was and with only one lady taking care of the front, I decided to take out. Food - I ordered Panda Dumpling Steamed, Beef Dumpling Fried, Pork Soup Dumpling, Scallion Pancake, and Mango Passion Fruit Tea. I like the fried dumplings more than steamed. The pork soup dumplings are very tasty. Scallion pancake is one of the best that I ever had. The fruit tea is decent. Overall not bad at all. Ambiance - only few changes from the original Tea place. This place can seat 12 people max. I can see this being more of a take out than dine in. Parking is limited with only 6 spaces. You can park on the other side of the street and walk over if you want to. You place your order at the kiosk. At this time only take credit cards, no cash. Service - I'm torn here. It took almost 25 minutes for my order. I understand it's their soft opening and only see the lady in the front and maybe 1-2 people in the kitchen. I guess it takes lingering than normal because each order is cooked to order? So you will need to be patience here for. They might need to add more people to the kitchen? The lady profusely apologized to me when she gave me the order. I'm not upset at all because I do understand when you visit a new restaurant, there will be issues. The most important for me is the food. Is it good? I will be back in a month or so and hopefully they will iron out all the kinks. I'm just happy that Vienna has another new restaurant. read more

Drove by the tiny hole in the wall restaurant and decided to give it a try. It is pretty much all self service aside from the part they take your food out to you. The menu is small with limited selections. We got the Seaweed salad, Panda Fried Dumplings, and Beef noodle soup. The restaurant name sake fried dumplings were juicy and meaty. The skin was a bit thick but overall an excellent dumpling. The dipping sauce could be better. The beef noodle soup came with a good amount of sliced tender beef and noodles. The container made it look small but don't let it fool you. I only wished it comes with some vegetable. A good dish to share. One thing I would say about this restaurant is that they do not serve their food in dishes or bowls. All my items were in disposable containers or paper plates. Lots of waste in my opinion. Even the water is in bottle! All portions were good size but as with all food, it is getting a bit expensive. I would go back to try some of their other fried and steam dumplings. read more

We ordered takeout here, as we're visiting the area for a holiday. We got the Panda dumplings fried, the pork soup dumplings steamed, and the shrimp and pork dumplings fried. Everything was packaged neatly and presented simply. The dumplings were epic. The pork was well seasoned and the dumplings were doughy and chewy. There's limited seating, so we had to get takeout. My wife liked the lychee sparkling water. The steamed panda dumplings (pork) were good, though my wife liked the pan-fried chicken dumplings more. The cucumber salad had a good flavor, but was laced with too much hot chili pepper, so we would not order it again. We will be back to try more stuff soon. My dad and I ordered a few things such as the panda dumplings (pork + fried), pork soup dumplings, scallion pancakes, sesame balls, some bubble teas and the unagi don. All were super tasty and came out quickly! Our favorites were the panda pork fried dumplings, the scallion pancakes, unagi don and the sesame balls. Went on a Sunday evening at 6:30pm and there was only one person waiting for takeout. Easy dedicated parking in the lot on the Main Street of Vienna. Instantly greeted with a warm smile and a gummy treat for my 11 year old. We ordered on a screen, getting the chive pan fried dumplings, pork soup dumplings and pan friend bao in addition to the beef noodle soup and lo mein. It's a cute family owned place and you can tell from the friendly attentive service and the attention to the quality of the food they delivered. Everything was panda themed and so cute! They said 10 mins for our order so we sat down at one of the tables to wait. Yes you'll be eating off of paper plates and using plastic utensils but the quality is in the food. You can hear the wok in the back stirring the lo mein and the chicken was so tender. The beef on the noodle soup was also really tender which made it perfect for our 11 year old to dig into. Everything came out hot and flavorful. The dumplings had delicious soup in them and each was so unique. The chive dumplings had so many pieces of chive in them, the baos were meaty and the skin was not greasy but the perfect mix of soft and crunchy. The soup dumplings were smaller but with rich broth inside of them. The owner came over and gave our daughter a pin with the restaurant's logo at the end and made sure we didn't forget our leftovers. We'll be enjoying them for lunch tomorrow. Overall nice, casual place with excellent service and great food that hit the spot on this cold winter night. read more

You order and pay from a big touchscreen at the counter. Quite good dumplings. Handmade. Come steamed or pan-fried. Unlike what you get from the frozen foods section of your big Asian grocery, these have distinct flavors - our ($10.98) chicken dumplings tasting different than the ($12.98) triple delight dumplings of pork, chives and shrimp. These are big, well-stuffed dumplings. Missus and I got well stuffed and took a couple home. The ($3.98) scallion pancake wasn't overly greasy, with a nice light scallion flavor. The two fruit teas ($6 each) - strawberry-lychee and mango-pineapple - weren't overly sweet. We opted for the 30% sweet level; I'd think much sweeter would be flavored sugar water. Panda Dumpling is an adorable new little spot with great food and a very happy and welcoming vibe. The only problem can be the parking lot which is pretty small. On our first visit, we couldn't find a space despite waiting. On the second visit, there was no problem. Panda dumping offers a variety of - dumplings of course and the ones we tried were all really tasty. Our favorite was the panda dumpling. We also enjoyed the soup dumpling and the baos. The sesame balls were yummy and the seaweed salad was light and delicious. We ordered a matcha milk tea and a mango passion fruit tea. We really appreciated that they let you choose the sweetness level (which was fine for us at 100%) and the ice level. It seems that so many drinks come full up to the top with ice and then dilute so quickly. These did not - yah! The drink cups also had this neat little cap on a leash which made it great to carry with you without fear of spillage. The self ordering system is much more intuitive than most and we had no problem figuring it out. Plus, the staff was always there and very happy to help. The space is bright and decorated with all sorts of adorable pandas that are sure to make you smile as much as the great food and very friendly service does! I saw the recent one star review, and I just had to make sure to try it to see if what the person talking about this place was really sure it was that bad given the higher star reviews, sure enough I knew better than to trust the minorityand it hit me that the person is heavily foodtarded or possibly just had a bad day ordering food late, The meal was excellent. I started off my order with the Cucumber salad, the cucumber had a good fresh taste and the sauce was tangy and wasn't too heavy and not too spicy, it was good I went ahead and doused it in Siracha. Then the main course for me came out which was the BEEF BAO, and they were juicy and hot, it was delcious enough for me that I was willing to eat it piping hot while the oil was popping out of em, absolutely amazing. I went ahead and finished it off with 2 yakult drinks a Lemon and strawberry version to go, I took the strawberry and gave it to my dad, he loved it. Currently in soft opening stage, we're so excited to welcome a go to spot for authentic Chinese food in the town of Vienna! We got the handmade dumplings both steamed and pan fried, soup dumplings, beef noodle soup, gyudon (fatty brisket rice bowl), crab rangoon, fries, and few different kinds of bubble tea. The dumplings are GIGANTIC and very flavorful. The beef noodle soup hits the spot on a cold snowy day like today; the beef is very tender, the noodles have good texture, and the broth is seasoned just right. The gyudon is also very flavorful and makes a nice quick meal. The crab rangoon and fries came out piping hot and crispy. The bubble tea complimented our meal well and were not overwhelmingly sweet. The place is pretty nice with decent parking and some tables that you can sit at. This restaurant is new, right in the middle of a soft opening, but it deserves an immediate review. First and foremost, everything is fresh and handmade, so the finer details really show through. The dishes arrived as they were completed, which was a positive because allowed us to not be overwelmed by the array of dishes we ordered, and it let us give things time to cool for maximum enjoyment. Now, on to the food: The takoyaki was properly golden and crisp with soft and molten centers, each with generous pieces of tentacles. We tried the fried beef jiaozi (dumplings) yesterday, which were rich, tasty, and juicy enough to make them my current favorite. The wrappers gave a nice, firm bite/chew without being rubbery or tough (another feature of the kind of higher quality care the chef obviously gave). Today, we tried the Panda Dumpling (pork), which were also delightful and lighter, but the beef remain my first choice. The owner(?) offered an order of soup dumplings to try, which also hit all the notes. The broth inside was somehow rich and light at the same time, creating a flavor burst that didn't unduly linger on the tongue or overpower the next bite. The crab rangoon are possibly the best in the area. The filling seems fairly standard in content, but the texture and flavor step it up a notch. The wrappers were crispy, but not overfried, leaving a firm bite without being sharp or hard to chew.. The filling was full of crab, very creamy, and featured razor-thin slices of perfectly cooked scallion that added flavor and fresh feeling in each bite. The chicken wings were what I would expect for a good tempura wing, but were meatier and, again, very juicy in comparison to chain restaurant wings. These were just another reason to return. The seaweed salad is very good. The flavors are what you would expect without hacking at your tastebuds, but come with thin slices of chilis that volunteer themselves nicely every few bites, and a bit of pickled pink radish on top for a lightly spicy accent against the primary vinegars sesame flavors. The spicy cucumber salad is something unexpected, but wecome. Essentially, this chunked, well salted English cucumber with a crusting of light oil and fine chili flakes provides a warm, spicy flavor that rolls round the mid-pallet and leaves politely when it is done. Yet another winner. There are also some very nice fruit teas. They are light, smooth, and refreshing. I'll update on them another day along with the milk teas offered. Tl;dr: go here, order the food, and thank yourself for choosing well. I think you will enjoy whatever you pick. read more
