The Ice Plant location was historically St. Augustine's first power and ice complex. Now the building has been revitalized and has The Ice Plant and The St. Augustine Distillery. The St. Augustine Distillery is connected to The Ice Plant and is a great tour to check out right before heading to grab food at the restaurant. There are a variety of guided and self-guided tours. My spouse and I checked out the self-guided tour right before we grabbed dinner at The Ice Plant. The tour isn't particularly long but was filled with information. After the tour, we headed upstairs to the restaurant. The restaurant feels really spacious with its super tall ceilings. There was lots to look at reminding us of the previous use of the building. We ordered the hand cut fries, strawberry and beet salad, and the gochujang marinated pork chop. I also ordered a few of their drinks, each one featuring different types of ice to fit the drink. Honestly all the food and the drinks were so good, but the easy standout of the night for both my spouse and I were the pork chops. These might have been the best pork chops I've ever had in my life. The pork chops were incredibly tender and juicy, not dry at all. I was expecting it to be a little dry, as I feel like pork chop can sometimes get overcooked, but no. These were so juicy and tender. I asked our server how the pork chop was cooked. Our server said that the pork chops were cooked sous vide, which makes a lot of sense as to how they were so tender. I've already told my spouse if we are in the St. Augustine area again, I would make a special trip just to get these pork chops again, they were that good. I really enjoyed this restaurant. This was my favorite spot we checked out in the St. Augustine area, if you are ever passing by the area, check The Ice Plant out!

The Bloody Mary is where it lost me. $15 is a serious price for a cocktail, and mine arrived as a tall glass of ice with what was left over poured around it. By the time I was a few sips in, it was mostly meltwater. For that money I'd expect the drink to outlast the ice. Suggestion for the house: given the name, lean into it. Send everyone home with a free bag of ice -- at least then I'd feel like I paid for something I got to keep. Would go back for the food. Would think twice before ordering another cocktail.

Our mixologist was named Talon; he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He started by asking us what we usually like to drink (spirits and flavor profiles). Once we gave him the information he needed, Talon proceeded to make us some amazing cocktails. I absolutely loved mine and could have drank them all night. I tried some of my friends' drinks and they were all excellent as well. We ordered several appetizers to share (guacamole, wings, empanadas, and mojo chicharrones), everything was very tasty. Talon came back over to ask us what options we'd like for our second round or drinks, so we all went with something different than the first order. Every cocktail he served us was really good and based on our individual tastes and preferences. I wish I lived in the area because I would go to Odd Birds regularly. The night we were there, they had a secret disco going on in the main dining area which sounded like a fun idea. I loved everything from the drinks, food, and interior decor. The Charlotte 33 Speakeasy area has a very pretty atmosphere as well.

Inside is cozy with comfy couches and chairs - along with your usual bar stools. The drink menu has your normal drinks and a lot of specialty drinks. Every drink we ordered was excellent - and strong! We also tried the pretzel sticks - they were AMAZING. So good, we actually ordered another batch. Our server was excellent and made some good recommendations. He kept checking on us and talked with us when he wasn't busy. When I went to use the restroom I got a glimpse of their tea room. I wish I would have given their tea room a try during the day. It looks like a great experience!

I thought their Tea choices were nice and tasted good and they brought each of us a full pot of what we selected. They brought us our little tier of a mix of a very small items. A ramekin of beer cheese soup (delicious and wish it was bigger) a pimento cheese triangle (so so) and a very very small hot Brie pastry (did not have a lot of taste and hard to tell what it was actually) The rest was dessert items and although they were good, nothing was amazing to me. Having Tea on Mother's Day with my daughter was the best part of this for me and wish the food was more to really talk about.

Not as small as the miserable soggy mess you get from Little Caesars, but definitely fast food wings. Narrow storefront in a strip mall, resembling the whole slew of franchise fast food joints that opened in the 90's chasing the success of Subway. For ambiance, it just doesn't compare to a huge place like IWC. Several TVs here, but there isn't a spot where you won't get a crick in your neck trying to watch something. Service, however, was so much nicer and more attentive here. Welcomed quickly at the door and seated. The waitress listed off the available dry rubs that I couldn't find on the menu. And my son discovered the Chicken Parm sandwich and enjoyed it. I would have preferred to see it on a sub roll than Texas toast, but he was fine with it. His onion rings were nicely done. Waitress checked back several times and made us feel welcome. There weren't many other customers, but it's an odd location and was 2:30ish. A slow part of the day. If I need a keto snack in this area, I'd definitely give them another try.
