It is decent beach bar food. Some of my friends participated in the $24 boozy brunch (unlimited drinks with your breakfast dish) and they enjoyed their drinks. My friend and I ordered the omelets. It is nice because everything listed in omelet items you could order. So, no limit on onions, peppers, bacon, ham, etc. Both of us didn't understand the grammar and thought cheese was a standard and added in. Incorrect! Don't make the same mistake we made. ONE bad thing about long beach is that there are no diners open late night. I never understood it & I never will. I was craving matzo ball soup so bad, but I knew I wasn't gonna find it..So I came to Billy beach cafe and decided to get fish tacos instead. Random. Service was a bit slow, and the tacos were fishy and spicy-er than I expected. I didn't eat much. It wasn't too expensive, but I would never come back for the food. I'm a big boy who loves his burgers! I can honestly say Billy's Beach Cafe has one of the best bacon cheese burgers I've ever sunk my mouth into! The average burger smasher with small hands and smaller mouth may have an issues tackling this beast of a burger! I had to get my delicious food to go due to the F**king Pr**k bag covid-19. Turned out to be a blessing in disguise because it came with a TROUGH of French fries!! My girlfriend ending up getting the "Blackened Fish Tacos" surprisingly she shared one of her tacos (girl sharing her food!?! I know fellas I'm blessed) the fish taco was damn good too I was shocked!! I had a Lagunitas to wash it down so you can bet my large self was mighty satisfied!! Over all 10/10 experience! Okay so, this place it started off good the staff was great in the start but lacked towards the end. Food was good The jalapeño poppers are HOT!!!!! The shrimp tocas are good. They chop up the shrimp add lettuce tomato and cheese but no special sauce in it. The kids had chicken fingers and French fries my best friend had a meat tiblit sandwich with curly fries that was good. Food over all was good. The sangrias amazing and they were 5 dollars so it was very yummy every Tuesday's 5 bucks can't go wrong with that, but if the waitress was more attentive we would have ordered more and her tip would have been more. So that says it all. My friends keep it tasty and let me know what you guys think. read more

I'm diggin Billys. For a few reasons: 1. The first time I came here, we sat by the big windows playing joker poker and enjoying the happy hour twofers. I think I still have some of those coins in random pants and cover ups - and ya know what? They still take em, even if they're from last summer 2. There's a variety of places to sit - by the big, wrap around bar (if you're like me and want your beer NOW), at the tables by the window with the tall stools, booths, or tables meant for two 3. The people that work there are friendly, and they're constant - the people that GO there are locals and constant, yet, if you're not a regular, they still treat you like one. Reading some of the other reviews I'm surprised that people had such bad service. Honestly, I'd bet that it was someone new or perhaps a kid? Anyway, I've never had a problem - regardless of where I've sat. My old beau and I used to come here and bounce back and forth between the bar (if I wanted my beers NOW) or the tables if we were eating burgers - the burgers there are huge, I only save that carnage for select few people, and either time they've been attentive. We came back here a week ago for a late(r) night snack to break up my sweets studying, and they were still on point. I like ordering in waves, sometimes - like, ordering wings and then eating them, judging if i'm hungry, ordering something else, etc. and sometimes when you go to places they get annoyed with that because its not linear, but they adapted quite well here, which is another reason I'm surprised at the service remarks. So we had wings (medium, cooked well done - nice and crispy where they should be, thank you) jalapeno poppers - what? I f*cking love these things. I GUESS the fried version is better then my BAKED healthy version but what-f-cking-ever and cheese steak spring rolls. Those, I didn't love, they were a little too greasy for me, but they were definately good if you were boozing. Their burgers (turkey or meat) are always done how I've requested, and always large. plus, their fries are yummy. oh wait. the first time I came here was mid workout with one of the trainers at Synergy to do a shot of tequila. One of the only places to get food late night in Long Beach. Which is fucking ridiculous, when you consider the fact that this city is made up of beer drinking, pot smoking, party animals. This place is a great stop for any night. The bartenders are friendly, beers are cheap and the bar food is great. Plus if you wear your team uniform (after 7 pm?) you can get discounts on drinks. My friends and I ordered the wings and spinach and artichoke dip. The wings were very good... they give you a large portion size, tasty blue cheese dressing, and a generous amount of celery. But the spinach and artichoke dip was amazing!! It's probably the best I have tasted on Long Island. No joke! They give you a huge portion in a pumpernickel bread bowl, surrounded by tortilla chips. Solid place! I dig the 80's vibe and honestly I had no idea this beach area was even there. We found it riding through on our motorcycles. I had the steak tips w/ melted cheese on open faced garlic bread. I ordered medium rare and got medium so I would order a level down on your steak. Two scotches on the rocks and a LI iced tea and I would have blown a .003 if I had been driving. 9 bucks for a watered down Dewars? Really? My wife's vodka and soda had chlorinated taste and not a whole lot of vodka. Entrees were marginal. The wrap was wet and gummy. The fish tacos were not crispy tacos at all, but soft wrap material. I ve generally only frequented the bar and seating area adjacent to the bar except for this past Sunday. We had a 20 person brunch (a few kids too) on a Sunday (not NFL season) and it was perfect. Our server, Jamie, in addition to her fellow busboys/runners/ waitresses were great. Our thirsty crowd never had to wait for a drink. The brunch menu in addition to the burgers/tidbits offered during brunch was awesome. Can't beat $25 deal they offer including unlimited brunch cocktails and domestic draft beer. The bartender, Bridgette(?) made countless Bloodies sans horseradish for our guests as per our request. Highly recommend a brunch outing there. read more

I've never been there before, but was there yesterday for a fund-raiser. I must compliment the staff, they saw to it that everyone was taken care of regarding drinks, etc. My husband and I were very impressed with the sausage & peppers, the ala vodka dish, but I must commend you on the chicken francese, it was simply amazing! The chicken was so tender and tasty, this is by far the best chicken francese we had in a long time. We plan on coming back to try other items on the menu. This is not my first time coming here and both times it wasn't my choice. I didn't care for the food either time, and I came here for paint nite yesterday. The mozzarella sticks taste like oil it was so disgusting. When we first got there we waited for a drink for 20 MINUTES the bartender doesn't even look in your direction it was horrible!!! We dined there for the first time, last night, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Forget about what some other reviewers wrote here, the service is excellent It's very prompt and courteous and we gave the waitress a nice tip in appreciation. The tomsto soup was hot and delicious. My cheeseburger and fries platter was cooked to perfection. My gal ordered cheese quesadillas which were freshly made and plentiful. We were very satisfied with our food and drinks. The atmosphere wss very lively. Lots of loud chatter and laughter. There are large screen TV's all over the place so you can watch every sport ever invented. The only complaint I had was that the room was very dark and it was difficult to read the menu. But when we told this to our cute waitress, she immediately raised up the lights a bit to a more normal level. So we will go back soon for more great food and good vslue for the money. read more
