Wasted my time! I made an appointment for 8-9 AM, specifically requesting maintenance on my two pipe condo unit. The dispatch person stated that they had technicians who knew how to deal with the system. The technician arrived at 10:30 AM after multiple phone calls trying to "dispatch somebody" or my scheduled appointment. When the technician arrived, he had no idea how to services system. He.," did not have any of the tools to deal with the system." He called his boss, who verified they do not service this type of system in the condominium. For the most part, I have been very happy with my change from Frymire to BillyGo. With one exception, I feel fairly comfortable their techs are not suggesting unnecessary and expensive service that Frymire has become so famous for. The one exception was a "tech" who offered a laundry list of unnecessary "suggestions" and tried very hard to explain to me (aka "hard sell") why they were all necessary. I declined them all. As I was investigating his "suggestions" after he left, I noticed the tech listed "Lead Sales Representative" as their job title on LinkedIn and posted an award they received for being "Top Sales / Highest Closing / Highest Average Ticket & Memberships Sold". I had a stoppage in my kitchen sink drain. They came out and unclogged it. I was at work and my wife was there. The plumber claimed that he looked at the damaged pipes and took pictures with a fancy camera they have now. These pictures were not in the estimate. I have contacted them about it and they claim he is off sick. This estimate is over $15,000, with a 20ft tunnel, but no pictures as was stated in our conversation. I see other posts of this business that couldn't provide the customer the same thing. The answers to the complaints are all scripted BS. I smell a rat. No thanks. I already called several times. No photos or video in the estimate. If you were serious about addressing my issue, then you would in your response. Telling me to call you is pathetic. read more

First of all I'll say the work was completed and fixed properly but I do NOT recommend BillyGo Plumbing for the following reasons. Communication is key in business! 1. We agreed on a rough price ahead of the work starting and told the job manager to let us know if it was going to be above that cost. It ended up being 30% over the agreed amount without any communication. 2. We were told the job would take about a week. It took almost 3 weeks. 3. The communication between the teams doing the work was very poor. The excavation team asked us (the customer) where the leak was. This should have been communicated to them from the leak detection team. 4. We got several confusing comments about how the work was to be paid for. At first we were told 50% up front and 50% when the job was complete. Then we were told that we had to pay in the middle of the job and 10% when it was complete. read more

Over the past two years--with one serious exception that is ongoing--I've been pleased with BillyGO. I've used them for a replacement capacitor on my condenser unit after hours, and was thrilled with the results. They replaced a toilet downstairs for me, came out to add a hard start to my condenser unit which was throwing my breaker, cut off and sealed a poorly built broken sprinkler line that had been damaged by the previous owner's foundation work, did checks of my heating and plumbing as a part of the membership (I'm a member, it saves 15%), and did two hydrostatic tests of my sewage and water lines. But today, as I sit with an incredibly high bill for a two-tunnel under slab tunneling to repair a few breaks in a sewage line, I feel a bit frustrated. The job is: two access points under my slab, one for an up-to-15 foot tunnel and one for an up-to-20 foot tunnel. They subcontract out to a crew that digs down, excavates the soil, locates and repairs the pipes, and then backfills, etc. There is no permit required, is my understanding, because it's not over the limit of length for a tunnel. The price is $21,200. They reduced this by $1,000 but I haven't yet seen the price breakdown they promised. In my situation, my sewage insurance endorsement on my homeowner's policy covers $2,500 to $10,000 based on the age of the plumbing, and I'll probably only get $2,500 covered. I understand that major excavations can be expensive and as a business professor, I'm no stranger to profit margins and operating costs. I get it. Good work costs money, and BillyGO has always done good, reliable work for me. But today, I genuinely feel a bit gouged, after asking a couple of other very highly rated plumbers just for their opinion with no chance of taking the job. One service said he wouldn't take the job now if I went with them instead because it would have to be too expensive to start over. But he did say despite the cost, BillyGO at least does good work and is reputable, which I knew. Look, I'm on a time crunch. I need to make this repair before my re-inspection date in 16 days prior to closing in order to sell my house, so I'm a bit of a captive buyer. I want to endorse BillyGO wholeheartedly but after this experience, I'm more than a little jaded. Yes, I accepted the quote. Yes, I put $5,000 down (explained to me as $2,500 per access point for the tunnels), and I agreed to let them continue. But I have no choice, now. And it's better to keep my buyer in the game to sell him my home and cut my losses than look for a more reasonable price elsewhere, and lose my buyer. Shop around. Could you find a high quality service to make two tunnels totaling 30-35 feet in tunneling for less than $21,000? I bet if I gave you 5-6 chances, you'd do it every time. And that's what bothers me about this. Again, they came down by $1,000 on the price which I appreciate, but the price is still far too high compared to all the information I am finding from other providers and online, and I didn't know better when I put down $5,000-nor did I have much of an option given my time constraints, even if I had wanted to back out and go with a different provider. I'm disappointed on this one, and unfortunately it colors all the other experiences I had with BillyGO. I hope they make it right. read more

Very efficient and professional. These folks take the time to explain what they need to do and why. We ended up getting the one-time (yearly) subscription, which paid for itself because we had a slab leak on one occasion and had to replace the water connection valves to our washer on another occasion. That was a pricey repair but had to be done because ours was so old it was out of code. The tech explained they are not a handyman service and don't just replace parts. after having foundation work done on our home billyGo called and said they needed to come out for a free hydrostatic sewer and water test on our lines to make sure we didn't have leeks. this was scheduled for a Thursday but I had to work so we rescheduled for Monday 1/17/25 between 12 and 2. A little after 2 I called to see where they were. I was told they were running late and would be here soon. I got a call back at 3 saying they would have to send someone from fresco and would be here in an hour. technician showed up a little after 5 to perform the tests. after reading their reviews for what ever reason as expected he found a $2,500 problem. we chose to have a second opinion and hired a different plumbing company come out. again for what ever reason as expected we had NO leeks. saved ourselves $2,200. read more

The salesman is good. Everything else....nightmare. It took them 17 days to finish work on my plumbing, only 6 of those days actual work was performed. The day of the city inspection, the plumber was pulled off my job before the inspector showed. I had a very confrontational conversation with a "supervisor" to get the job inspected. The fun part, to this day, NOBODY has contacted me to even state that the work was completed. (Work was finished 6 months ago.) I contacted them with pictures showing the damage to the finish of my bath tub, trash and cleanup left behind and (this is awesome) a bloody razor blade with a blood trail to my front door and blood on the door handle. I was never contacted about any of the issues. $32,000. I have had numerous people ask for a plumbing recommendation since, will never recommend this company. read more

Came home midnight 12-23 to a garage and hall way full of water. The water heater decided to give out while we were out. Submitted an online request at plumbing around 9am Saturday 12-24, (Christmas Eve) and left a voicemail with Jason. I received a text instantly saying a rep would be with me "as soon as possible". I received a second text 4 minutes later saying my time was important to them and someone would be with me "momentarily". Today, Monday the 26th at 10:48 am 9:22pm, I received another text asking me to call their office and schedule service. I asked "what service"? I had found another plumber through my son-in-law who came out and replaced the heater a couple of hours. Their excuse was they were busy Saturday... You know, I get it if you can't provide services because of a backlog, but I don't understand not responding to an emergency request at all until 48 hours later, especially when your website says you have 24/7 service, including weekends AND Holidays. read more

I had them come out and give me a quote for replacing my gas tank water heater with a gas tankless water heater. The guy took a quick look around, didn't ask too many questions, and gave me a quote that was practically double what everyone else had quoted, and without a cost breakdown for why it was so much more. Also everything he said about what water heater to use and why contradicted everything that I heard from all the other plumbers I spoke with. I got the feeling that he got paid on commission and was looking to overcharge me, and to give himself reason to come out more often for repairs. I found it amazing that several of my initial calls to bigger TV type names couldn't get out until three days later. This company had decent reviews online, so I decided to abandon the big box brand appointment that was scheduled for three days later. The company scheduler sent me a text message with the picture of the plumber who would be coming to the house. The plumber spoke about the price then offered a subscription plan for the same price. He mentioned another price which I didn't understand if that was a call price or rate. Hmmm...weird. I declined the subscription plan, accepted the price I thought it was going to be, but was charged the higher price? The plumber was seemingly competent and capable. I used them years ago to complete a bathroom remodel and they did a great job for a reasonable price. However, 2 years later, I've gotten several estimates from them for plumbing and for HVAC and all of their estimates are at least 3xs as much as the next two estimates I've received. Their pricing is LUDICROUSLY expensive. They wanted to charge me $30K to rough in a new plumbing/drain line for an addition including new gas line location (5' from existing location). The next 2 were for $9000 and $7800 for the exact same services. I mean they REALLY do try to gouge you. Outside of their pricing, they're on time, professional and knowledgeable - but if you're looking to pay a reasonable price, look elsewhere. read more

This company sent out a MAGA type bad mouthing liberals. Then proceeded to tell me he could install a new mini split system for 16 thousand and that the one I had was junk. I said I dont think so I will figure something else out. then the 99 to come out turned into 200 dollars. i payed it and went on. i was able to get a local AC guy to come look at it. He found a leak and changed a shrader valve and added 2 lbs of Freon. It took all of 40 minutes. 400 dollars and is has been running fine. read more

The tech comes over & gives me a quote to fix the AC for $4000+ to put some freon in + $400+ charge for diagnosis & $120 trip charge. I told him I was advised no fees unless I decide to pursue further, he said that I was misadvised. After a mini argument, I reluctantly paid the $120 & the tech was kind enough to not charge me any other fees. All I'm saying is do not fool the customer-just be honest & disclose all fees & charges upfront. Cheap marketing tactics will only give your customer a bad experience & leave you with a bad yelp review & you lose potential customers in the future. Integrity is key. read more

On Saturday June 30 2022 this company came out charged 331.00 to snake a drain and by Tuesday August 2 2022 it was stopped up again. I called the company and was told that he snaked the line and removed the roots from the neighbors tree. He did not remove any roots which she finally stated. She said she would have him call me. He did not call. She also stated that she would speak to the general manager but, I've heard absolutely nothing from them. Just go with a reputable plumber that won't gouge you and stay far away from this one is the best advice I've got. I had to get another plumber out today to snake again and to remove the roots. There was supposed to be a 30 day warranty but, with no call back the warranty seems as useless as the service. read more

He explained how the seal worked and why it needed to be put in that way. And then, he said that it probably wasn't billable, and fixed it for us. I hired BillyGO to isolate a plumbing leak. They said they charge a flat rate of about $750 to identify where teh leak is. After about 3 hours of leak testing by their 3 plumbers they came and said I had leak in bathroom at 3 different places and that it would cost $7500 to fix them. I hired a different plumbing leak detection company and they found there was only 1 leak and that too was at a different location than what Billygo suggested. I would not recommend BillyGO to anyone. They try to make money the wrong way by suggesting false leaks and taking away $750 for Leak isolation detection which they could not find. Also I asked them to give me in writing where the 3 leaks were , the BillyGo plumber said their office would send it after a few days but I never received anything in writing about where they claimed the 3 leaks were. However, I'm giving five stars, and I do not regret paying a little more for the outstanding service I received from the technician named Rhetts and their schedule/administrative service. Rhetts came on time 100% prepared to identify the issue with my water heater and explained the root of the problem and ways to resolve it. He is very knowledgeable and knows how to do his diligence and think out of scope. He is the guy who goes above and beyond to get things done well. No such nonsenses like; This is a unique problem, this is not as easy as it may appear, I need to run to Home Depot, or I cannot do this because I have another customer in an Hour, etc. I do not know about all technicians working at this company. But I highly recommend BillyGO if you want service on time and Rhetts as a technician for all your plumbing needs.
