The Sub-Zero freezer had broken and I met Larry to make the repairs. When he arrived, he introduced himself, was most courteous and efficient. He was very organized and extremely neat with his tools, and the parts he was installing. He had to replace a fan motor and controls. Work was done quickly and the results were perfect. The next experience was my own. Our Fisher&Paykel dishwasher set off alarms and kept running. After disconnecting the circuit breaker, I called Larry on a Saturday morning just prior to the Christmas holiday this year. He returned my call early in the morning and though off for the holiday, walked me through the entire process to make immediate repair. It worked flawlessly. I am now going to have him service both our dishwasher and our SubZero to make sure they are clean and in proper working order. I was most impressed with Larry's attention to the problems and how easily he handled our problem.

We began our project working with the Ferguson reps in Atlanta before our move to Beaufort, SC. That's when the wheels fell off. Plumbing fixtures were delivered without our permission and our builder had to ask that they be picked up. Ferguson's accounting and inventory system is very antiquated and finding someone who will take ownership of a problem is almost impossible. When our home was completed, Ferguson's sent emails to our builder stating that they still had an outstanding balance. OK, first of all, my wife and I paid for everything and had every invoice and receipt. Second, Ferguson's was never authorized to tie anything regarding our build to our builder's account which hadn't been used in several years because our builder doesn't like working with Ferguson's for reasons we soon found out. It took several weeks and ultimately having our attorney contact the legal department at Ferguson's headquarters in Newport News to get action. The Bluffton manager, Bill Fischer, whose team created the problem, wanted no part in identifying where the bookkeeping error was or how to fix it. The Alpharetta showroom manager, Jonathan Cameron, ended up doing all of the work when Bill wiped his hands of the mess his people created, even when numerous other Ferguson's employees told him repeatedly that he was wrong. I cannot recommend Ferguson's after this event. While they may have nice products, lot's of people do. And perhaps they understand and value the customer relationship more than the Ferguson's in Bluffton.

We had an outstanding experience and great customer service from Mike DeVito (no, not Danny's brother), who worked out a solution while my wife was standing at the service counter. Mike is a "get 'er done", type of guy, like I was in my business for my customers for over forty years, which I really appreciate. Customer service seems be harder and harder to come by these days but not apparently at Home Depot, as it is alive, and well! We both want to thank you Mike, because you did a great job, and are an outstanding example of why we have purchased almost all our major appliances (in six homes which we have owned), stone birch kitchen cabinets, along with hundreds fastener, screws, etc..., tons of tools, and a riding mower, to name a few, all from Home Depot. I know that a toilet flapper does not seem like an emergency, but when you've downsized from a home with four toilets to a house with two that three people have to use, it becomes extremely important because as you know, when you gotta go, you gotta go. They removed the cabinet dividers between the cabinet doors as well as put in new drawers. In addition, they added new cabinets from scratch in our laundry room. The team who worked in our house were very professional and respectful. They put up a plastic tent around the kitchen to prevent dust and particles from entering the rest of the house. While it took several weeks to get everything ready and in stock, it only took them 2 weeks to complete the installation. My wife and I are very happy campers and would use them again if needed. I highly recommend for their great craftsmanship, professionalism and reasonable cost. Hopefully my before and after pics will load without issue.

Saw the same one (GE) at Home Depot that I was intending on purchasing at Best Buy. At Best Buy the machine $849. Home Depot is running an appliance sale depending on what you spend. On this they were offering $50 off. Though their initial price is higher at $879. I asked if Best Buy would meet the end price of $829 which would just be $20 less for Best Buy (I was also buying the pedestal.... An additional $250) they would not come down the $20 and let us walk out and lost the sale. Funny thing I was looking at a coffee maker I probably would've purchased as well. I ended up going back to Home Depot and purchased the washing machine and pedestal. I I will say that the sales help were very nice at Best Buy on the positive note. However the gentleman I was told was a manager let me leave the store over $20.

The customer service girl was not able to answer a simple question but relied on a store script that was not relevant to the question. Tried three different times to explain the issue and she spoke it back WRONG all three times. There was a time when Best Buy was my go to. Now, it is the court of last resort.

7-9-24 Drop Off Donations…read more Came here to drop off several home items and clothes. Note I had tried a couple times before forgetting they are closed on Sunday and Mondays. On this visit I went inside with my donations and made several trips from the car. I was offered assistance but it wasn't necessary as it truly was a short walk from my car. Many people were dropping off items to donate. From what I could see really nice stuff. I originally came here for some items from my home. But now I got everything I need as we downsized when we moved to the area. Definitely will be back with more donations soon.
