Polish sausage, Kabasa. Probably the worst Kabasa I've ever had.
John J.

The Kabasa was cold and tasteless. The mac & cheese was called. I brought it up and I saw them pouring the mac & cheese out of a bag into a steamer. Potato salad was certainly store-bought. My wife had a brisket salad and she said the brisket wasn't that great. The prices certainly weren't giving it away. I would suggest go to the number of really good barbecue places in town.

Tuesday night, all you can eat ribs with 2 unlimited sides!
Shelley C.

I'm disappointed in the Tuesday night all-you-can-eat ribs. Granted, you can stuff yourself. The sides were good. I had baked beans, green beans and hubby had Mac and cheese with corn in the cob, which were all delicious. The fall down was on the ribs. You know that flavor you get where the meat was frozen, not wrapped up well, then dragged out and reheated? Yep. There it was. I tried two or 3 more with the same result. I had to eat the Texas toast just to get the funky taste out of my mouth. If you smothered it in BBQ sauce, you could almost disguise it. Almost. I know you guys have good food. I've been there before. This time wasn't.

Yesterday, I heard the voice of angels... and it was coming straight from Station 8 BBQ in Wichita,…read moreKansas, my heaven on Earth. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was about to experience something special. My taste buds didn't just wake up -- they rejoiced! This wasn't just a meal; it was a full-blown experience wrapped in smoke and perfection. Let's talk about the legends first. Their smoked sausage gravy and biscuits, and Texas Twinkies have wowed me before, and I'm here to testify: they absolutely did not let me down this time. The biscuits and gravy were flawless -- perfectly tender biscuits smothered in rich, savory smoked sausage gravy that tasted like it was crafted with love and a little bit of magic. Every bite was comfort food at its highest level. And the Texas Twinkies - Amazingly indescribable. Smoky, cheesy, savory masterpieces with just the right kick -- the kind of bite that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate what's happening. But now... the revelation. The new pork belly cinnamon rolls with frosting. Let me just say this: talk about melting in your mouth. Sweet, smoky pork belly wrapped in a delicious blend of warm cinnamon and brown sugar. Slowly melted into a sweet and Rich caramel-like sweetness and topped with luscious frosting. It was the kind of creation that makes you question why all cinnamon rolls aren't made this way. The balance of savory and sweet was nothing short of genius. Station 8 BBQ doesn't just serve food -- they serve moments. They serve joy. They serve flavors that linger in your memory long after the plate is clean. If you haven't made the pilgrimage yet, go. Your soul (and your stomach) will thank you.

I've tried a lot of brisket and I usually don't super love it because everyone over cooks it or it…read morejust doesn't have a lot of flavor. When I tell yall that this was the best brisket I've ever had in my LIFE. I live in Southern California and I can't wait to have an excuse to fly back and eat some. The pulled pork was good, the pork belly was bomb, but that melt in your mouth, juicy, splashing with flavor brisket, is, "I'll take an unnecessary trip to middle of nowhere Kansas" LIFE-CHANGING. Waited about an hour in line while it was hard sprinkling and it was worth every second. Guys working the front are hilarious and welcoming. I can't wait to go back!

I'm always on the hunt for good barbecue for me and/or my husband and Pig In Pig Out didn't…read moredisappoint him! Although I found them while in AK, he was traveling for work and he went with a few others. He said he never would've found it, nor would he have thought to stop if just passing by. He asked someone else in line what they recommended and he was super nice to fill him in on the menu! Three meats, two sides and some Texas toast for a mere $16.00! Holy moly was he full after that! Staff was friendly and they all loved their meals! He said he'll definitely go back again when he's in town!

The pizza was FANTASTIC, definitely something I will do again!!! ** I ordered the two meat dinner as seen in the picture below and it was good, no complaints. The sausage was tasty and had a mild heat, turkey breast was very tender and juicy. I really enjoyed the beans, could probably eat an entire pan of them. The potato salad was your typical potato salad, not sure it was made in house but I could be wrong. The spicy pickles were very good as well. I went in just to pick up a BBQ pizza for supper and decided to get a two meat dinner since I had never been before. The prices are average, my meal was 16.50 and I had a water to drink. They offer tea and soda as well. The employees were very friendly, restaurant was nice and clean. It reminded me of a typical bbq joint, smelled of smoke and meat, and had a few BBQ trophy's scattered throughout the entryway. Their BBQ sauce is also for sale if you want to purchase for home. Overall, I'd rate it a 7.5 on a scale of 1-10.
