Okay so I've been to this place about 6ish times. All the locations. The food is yummy! No doubt! But the sanitation of the employees is why I have to give this place a 2 star. Multiply times I have seen them literally handle money or cells phones then make the food without washing hands/putting gloves on. I have worked in the food industry before and now I am a nurse. I love this place. It is casual and a great addition to downtown Wheaton. A great meal with my daughter consists of sharing one pizza, a salad and usually some bread sticks for a very reasonable price. The employees are always friendly. I LOVED the BBQ chicken pizza! It's super thin but was super tasty. I was really hungry and scarfed the majority of the pizza by myself. We were looking for a place to eat after leaving Catigny and my kids suggested Blaze pizza. I liked for a Blaze on Yelp and this place came up. We decided to try it. We were very surprised when we were ordering. First I asked if I could have tomato sauce mixed with the garlic sauce and the cashier looked at me like I was crazy and made some comment like it was the weirdest thing ever. After we ordered our pizzas the total was 61 dollars because they charge for every topping individually. At other similar places, you get the pizza and you ask for specific toppings, similar to Chipotle. The service was not friendly, the pizza was not good and we won't be back. read more

Beware! If you have celiac disease and think their gluten free crust is coming to your table gluten free, think again! They cross-contaminate the crust by throwing it on the same board as they use for their flour crust. To nights trip to the Brick was met with the refusal to prepare a pizza on a gluten free surface. (In the past they have always accommodated my request with friendliness and understanding). This time I was told "we are not doing that anymore, we can't take the time and we are to busy" So they are really charging $3.00 for a gluten free pizza that is not really gluten free and could make a person with a really bad sensitivity to gluten VERY sick. Today me and my boyfriend stopped here for a bite to eat. we ordered the Hawaiian pizza and the artichoke dip. The pizza was fine but the artichoke dip tasted a bit off. After words my boyfriend had stomach pains and they lasted about 3 hours before he vomited our lunch up. I will never come back to any bricks location because of this experience. Note to everyone... Got to say Friday 6/19/15 was my first time going to Bricks to meet a friend and the employee at the register who was the manager (Giovanni) was so helpful and made my first experience and impression very pleasant. He told me to try the pizza of the month which was a Honey Sriracha and I have to tell you it was crazy good. We also had a chop salad which was huge for the price. Other employees were very nice as well as they cleared our table and asked if we cared for any dessert and my friend and I tried the Tiramisu! Have to say best I have ever had by far! Normally not a fan of thin crust pizza from a wood-fire oven, but Bricks nails it; really good crust and really-really good toppings.

I ate here last night, sat out on the patio seating, and thought it was a good experience. It's fast casual... The service/set-up is similar to a Culver's, Noodles, etc. You order at the counter, get a number and the food gets delivered to your table. No table service. The only downfall I could see is they have appetizers listed and my guess (I can't comment off of experience) is everything will be delivered at once. To me, that kind of defeats the purpose of an appetizer. I was originally going to order a build your own pizza, but the girl at the counter was nice enough to inform me that I was better off going with the White Arugula since my order was so similar. And I could swap a few of the ingredients for a better price. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken pizza with gouda cheese. Both were excellent! They also had two good craft beers on draft. We really like Bricks, if you have time on hands and kids not pestering you, this is a good sit down place to enjoy a slice of pizza goodness and watch wheaton buzzing with activities like car shows, summer concerts, visitors , pet and kids walking by, this place is lively. If you can find some seats that will be great, because it .is. paackkkked ... alll... the ...time. so we just get the order to go and eat at home. We order the margherita pizza and its thin crust and really good, nice pizza place around this area compared to the age old dominoes and papa johns, which have no flavor at all. Met a friend here last night for dinner. It was pretty good! It is decently expensive for what you get, but I thought it tasted good enough that I'd be back. I also didn't think the price was OUTRAGEOUS or anything. Pizzas came out very quickly after we ordered them (because obviously the brick oven cooks them quickly). They tasted good. The girl who took my order and brought us our food was extremely nice... It was overall a very good experience. The only complaint I had was about a customer who was giving me the death stare, I can only assume because we had a three year old and baby with us... at a fast casual restaurant I believe it's appropriate to bring children...and it's not my problem you want a kid free dining experience. But regardless... I got over the death stare and we ate our pizzas and were happy with the experience. read more

Dined at Brick's twice. The first time we ordered the barbecue chicken pizza, which was just okay. We enjoyed the meatballs with california raisins as an appetizer but overall, I would rather go to Nancy's Pizza down the road. Our most recent time eating at Brick's, we ordered a pepperoni pizza with spinach. It was awful. The crust was super thin and soggy, the sauce has a terrible sugary after taste. If you want pizza in Wheaton.. Go to Nancy's. If you want Italian food, go to Gia Mia. read more

First of all, I would like to thank the general manager for giving me a $20 gift card and allowing my family to visit your restaurant. The Wheaton location is a great location close to the Metra Station. When you walk in, there is a person waiting to take your order. The assistant manager named Rachel took our order. She was extremely friendly and patient with my family while we took our order. After we took our order, one of the young ladies made sure that our table was clean and had silverware and plates ready to go for our food. One of the major reason why we like Bricks is due to the fact that the food comes out fast and this is perfect for families with little kids (3 year old and 16 month old). Within 3 minutes, the garlic bread came out and it was fresh right out of the oven. I have had garlic bread from other restaurants that takes longer to prepare and does not taste as good as Brick's garlic bread. One thing people should know about bricks is they prepare your pizza right when it ordered and it's cooked in a brick oven and it is ready to serve with 3-7 minutes. As usual, the pizza we ordered was amazing and one of the best thin crust pizza I have had in a long time! While we were eating, multiple people were walking around making sure that we were happy with our food and comfortable. From the friendly customer service, to the great tasting food and the great location, this pizza place is a must visit if your are in the Wheaton area. If there was one complaint about this place it is very small. I know the management can't control this but this place is going to get very busy over the summer so I hope they have plans to expand this location because it's going to be very popular. My husband and I took the kids over to downtown Wheaton and were pleasantly surprised when we tried Bricks. It's the perfect combination of not trying too hard but getting enough right to make our dining experience really enjoyable. The limited beer selection was right on, the menu was sophisticated without being fussy, the ambiance was pleasant, the staff friendly and competent. We did have our kids with us, a five year old and a one year old. There was no kids menu but I find pizza to be pretty accessible for kids of all ages anyway, including our baby. We bought 12 oz. milk and chocolate milk bottles from a cooler next to the fountain drink machine. There is a big TV on the wall and both kids were happy enough; it helps that trains were running pretty consistently. I appreciated that there wasn't a lot of junk on the walls; again, they aren't trying too hard beyond the exposed brick walls. The pizza itself was great. No complaints on toppings or cheese or crust. Maybe everyone else wanted Chicago style pizza and that's why there are complaints about the amount of cheese and toppings? It was a perfect brick oven pizza in our opinion, and the food came fast, which is always a plus when you've got the littles with you. The prices were fine; we all ate and drank for around $30 and brought home half a pizza. All in all I think this is a great addition to downtown Wheaton. Although it was fine for the kids, we are looking forward to coming back as a couple and having a couple drinks. The perfect casual date spot. read more
