Fast Eddy's is exactly what I want in a local pizza joint -- low key, super friendly, and delicious. Went in on a weekday night for dinner and they were FAST -- living up to the name. We got seated right away, got recommended the BEST Italian beer on tap which was CRISP. We ordered a garden salad to start with Italian seasoning - so refreshing and delicious The pizza was next! Crust was perfectly crispy - not too thick and not too cracker like, cheese was perfectly gooey, sauce was impeccable, and the toppings were loaded on -- we did jalapeños and pepperoni and it was FIRE! Seriously the BEST tavern style pizza we have tasted in the Chicago burbs! Absolutely amazing!! Service is super friendly, you can tell this is a spot where locals keep coming back. The service was great. Owner met me at the door greeted me warmly had a great conversation while waiting to pick up my takeout pizza. I have one pie here. I'm sorry I just didn't like it. One month update: We decided to dine in to get the full experience. I didn't get any pizza this time because I wanted to try other things on the menu. It was pretty empty on a Wednesday night after 7:30 pm. Just a FYi, it's $1 wings on Wednesdays and the wings are very meaty. We ordered a dozen wings, Mama Tucci's Italian homemade meatballs, bucatini spaghetti, and cannoli. Service was excellent. Prices were reasonable for the generous portions. -wings 5 - we got the garlic parmigiana and the wings had great flavor on the inside and outside. Meat was very juicy. -meatballs 5 - these are very big and cheesy. I like the seasoning that went inside. Not salty. -bucatini spaghetti 5 - you get a huge plate of salad before receiving the spaghetti. The spaghetti comes with 2 huge meatballs and the noodles are chewy and tasty. -cannoli 5 - I love the sweet cream filling. It's finger licking good. read more

From out of town. Ordered an extra thin extra crispy with pepperoni onion mushroom. And got just that! Onions and mushrooms thinly sliced so were cooked and a nice amount of sauce. Loved it and will definitely return when in town. read more

The dishes tasted amazing! I ordered pasta carbonara and my partner got the seafood risotto. The staff was super friendly and gave us some great suggestions. Tried here when in the area and wanted to try somewhere new. Pizza was average, wings were passable. Not the best not the worst, worth a try if in the area. They do have a small dine in area, but all tall tables which I find not comfortable. Server was friendly, he was one of the owners. The other owner also came out and was in charge of the backend. It looks like they recently remodeled and were trying to improve the looks and quality of everything, so I plan on coming back in a few months to see if there were any more changes/improvements. read more

Ordered several pizzas for my workplace, it was good. The pizzas were all the thin and crispy except for one, and the crusts were all good, toppings out to the edges, generous toppings, and everything was cooked "just right..." crispy on the highlights, nicely done all the way through. Tried this place when they first opened didn't really remember why I stopped ordering from this pizza place It had been over a year. Thought I'd give it another try ... bad decision. My main complaint is the dough (crust) in my opinion it's old not made fresh and the sauce is so bland. I have been to so many pizza places and this place was a huge disappointment (again) and wondering how hard is it to make pizza dough and some fresh sauce. Now I've tried this place 2x both times this place was unsatisfactory -changes should be made (make fresh pizza dough and fresh pizza sauce) Pizza crust taste like freezer burn dried out. In short, this is now my favorite pizza restaurant after my first time here. We were greeted by our server Michelle who was incredibly nice every moment we were there. We got our drinks, an appetizer of mozzarella sticks, and ordered the 'Paulies Pepperoni Drizzle.' This was truly one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and I don't give a compliment like that lightly. Every aspect of the pizza was perfect; the perfectly crispy tavern style crust, the flavorful homemade sauce, a great blend of cheese, even more flavorful and crispy pepperoni, with the incredible combination of hot honey and fresh crumbles of ricotta to top it off. Then for dessert we had the cannolis which were clearly fresh made as the shell was nice and crispy, rather than some restaurants that serve pre-made cannolis. What really blew us away was Eddy coming out from the kitchen asking everyone how their pizza is. It's obvious he takes great care about the food he makes and that people enjoy it. We live about 40 minutes from Fast Eddies and went there on a whim and definitely plan to go back! The Mama Tucci's meatballs were the best we have had! The wings baked & then fried- skin was so crispy and very meaty wings. They were just outstanding! We could not finish our pizza, and Eddie gave us a tip on how to reheat. It worked perfectly and tasted as good as the first time! The lemon cake was over the top and more than enough for the two of us to share! Atmosphere was delightful, the staff & guests, very friendly and enjoyable. Nice Vibe and we enjoyed our time there! We will be back as we want to try the cheese curds, Gelato bomb and Chicken Parmesan. Highly recommend this place, definitely 5 stars, actually more like 10! read more

Ordered take-out last night from Fast Eddys - this was my fifth order but first time ordering online. I should start with: I love Fast Eddys pizza, they really nail tavern style pizza. The crust is crispy with a nice tangy sauce and the toppings are so fresh. I order something different each time - last night I ordered pineapple, sausage and giardiniera - perfect if you love sweet and spicy. We went to pickup early because we like to have a cocktail at their bar while we wait for our order. The place was packed! I thought we would be waiting a long time, but the order was in the oven. Perfect! Had a nice time talking with the owner and bartender/server. Even people from other tables were joining in the conversation. The phones were ringing with orders coming in, people at tables were ordering, and yet the server was still able to make me feel like I was getting personal service. The service is friendly and attentive, the food is really tasty, consistent and made with care and the prices are very low for what you get. I honestly can't say enough good things about Fast Eddys. You have to try it if you like homemade italian food and tavern style pizza. 15/10 read more

This was our third time having pizza from Fast Eddy's since they joined the neighborhood. The first couple times, in October and November, we were floored by the generous herbs sprinkled atop the cheese, the rich sauce and delicious tavern style crust. (These two experiences were definitely five star worthy) Tonight, the herbs were absent, the sauce was sweeter and the crust was chewy- it honestly seemed like completely different pizza. I feel sad giving a 3 star review, but honesty is best here. First, the lady who greeted me could not have been nicer! Warm, pleasant, and seemed genuine. I ordered meatballs and wings to go. Upon getting home, the food looked great, but I have some issues here. First, the meatballs. They were just bland. Lacked seasoning of the most basic kind: salt and pepper. Next, they didn't match any pictures I've seen as they had no toast points and no ricotta. I feel like had I dined in, I would have gotten a presentation atleast. For me, these were a total miss. Next, the wings. I got them with their signature garlic parmigiana sauce. I did order a side of marinara, but didn't receive it. Would have gladly paid extra. The wings were very, very good. I added some lemon pepper to them when I got home and they really popped. I feel like a fun accent point would be for them to shake some tomato powder over the top and really hammer home that these are Italian wings. However, they did a great job with them. Overall, I would return for the hospitality and the wings, and maybe try some pizza. I think they will figure things out, as maybe it was just an off day for the meatballs.
