First time ordering pizza and it did not disappoint! We tried a pan style and stuffed style, both were great. Even the smalls were more pizza than we thought, but they make good leftovers too. We also tried mozzarella sticks and jalapeño poppers which were delicious as well. read more

Stopped in here after a baseball game down the street (party of 5). From the outside it looks huge but it actually only seats 25-30 people. A lot of the indoor space is taken up by slot machines. We were warned about the wait when we walked in but chose to stay. After about half an hour we were seated in the back, order taken immediately. Still waited a while for our food but it was hot and tasty when it arrived. There is outdoor seating, which I'm sure is lovely in the summer. But the indoor seating area is just so small. read more

Run. Do not walk. Run. AWAY. I normally write reviews on local places after visiting for at least two times. This case is different. There will be no second time. I also do not usually give 1 star reviews, especially on a local business. I apologize, but this was just overall bad. First off, the service. Horrible. We had to get our menus, silverware, napkins, and condiments. All our server (AMY) did was take our orders, serve our drinks and gave the check. Literally. We waited a long time for all our orders to be served. The place had only a few tables occupied, both inside and outside. They cannot use the excuse that they were very busy. They weren't busy, they were just slow and inefficient. For food, we ordered: THIN CRUST PIZZA W/ ANCHOVIES, ONIONS, MUSHROOMS.- the pizza was good, UNTIL I bit and almost swallowed a small piece of lid from a plastic container. (I should have taken a picture :( CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD- the lettuce was fresh, but the chicken pieces were OBVIOUSLY the frozen packaged ones. It was pathetic. PATTY MELT- we ordered the meat to be cooked medium rare but it came out super well done. It was like biting into a hockey puck. The meat was so dry. What's the point of asking how we wanted the meat to be cooked?! We told Amy about the piece of plastic in the pizza. She agreed and acknowledged that it must have come from a plastic container. She just said that she has never seen that in her 25 years of experience and that she will let "them" know. No apologies. After a few minutes, the lady who seemed like the owner or manager, came out and talked to the customers from the two tables beside ours. Amy was chatting away with other customers right beside our table, WHILE holding the piece of plastic from our pizza. The issue was obviously not communicated to anyone else. She checked in with us after our meals when we asked for the check. I told her that the chicken from the salad was the frozen and processed kind. Her reaction: "oh really?". We were so disappointed and frustrated with our experience while dining here. We held back on the complaints about everything else already. We just wanted to leave. We just kept saying that we will never come back. Ever. read more

Usually order take out from here, but decided to go sit down and eat. After 3 times around the very small lot- found a spot and went inside. Asked the man at the front- I think he is the owner/bartender how long is the wait? He grumpily yelled " I have no idea - 45 minutes or hour" So we stood there and waited for a hostess to come attend to us. After a few minutes a lady came out and was cleaning a few tables that looked free to us- assuming she'd come grab us to sit. When in walked another couple and walked right by us and went up to her and she told them "oh how about this table right here" where she promptly sat them down. Not once looking over at us or thinking hmm, they must be waiting to sit down. Nor did the man at the bar say to her that we were waiting. We walked out- and will never attempt to eat inside there again, nor will we place an order for take out. Very rude service all around and very dissapointed in the service they gave to us. Instead we headed over to Paisans in Lisle were the manager greeted us, asked how our Christmas was, seated us right away and had excellent service and a great pizza to boot- Mrs. T's needs to take some pointers from Paisans- Sandra S. Love love this new location in Westmont! Good move! I don't get all the hate. We have been loving Mrs T's for 7 years now. We don't come here in a hurry. We come here to enjoy company and good pizza. We get the thin crust pepperoni with mushrooms and sweet sauce. Try it! The service is kinda slow and scattered at times however tonight the owners husband stepped in and was helping out where needed because they were so busy! We haven't had the chance to sit on the patio yet but we love the tvs with all the games on inside. We just discovered they have TouchTunes and had fun playing some music. We come here about once a month at minimum and will continue. read more

Disappointing tonight. Ordered for pick up 9" pizza well done . And cut in squares. Crust was soggy cheese melted all over the place and when I picked a piece all the cheese and other toppings slid off. Come here regularly but this was quite the surprise. Also noted there are less and less of the toppings added to pizza. Had to search for sausage.. service was fine. read more

Best pizza in the United States. It might even be the best in the world but I've never been to Italy so I cannot say for sure. Had the Mrs. T's thin crust special. Perfect crust!! Excellent balance of flavors of the sausage, green peppers, onion, and mozzarella. Wonderful blend of seasonings with an excellent balance between oregano, basil, and garlic. All ingredients fresh and evenly distributed. Fantastic. Facility is sparkling clean and modern with comfortable chairs and booths. Average noise. Service was excellent and all smiles. Reasonable prices. All-around excellence in food, service, and facility. Most highly recommended!! Truly a "don't miss"! read more

They have changed locations and apparently changed their recipes. They used to have a true thin crust pizza ( i may not like thin crust, but have family members that do) that would have a very thin and crispy crust. I would order a hand tossed crust. Now the thin crust is about a 1/2 inch, and doughy. There is no hand tossed, so I ordered a pan pizza. The pan pizza is a true "Pan Pizza", more dough than I was expecting. They have changed their sauce to the point where my pizza with hot giardniera tasted sweet! I wasn't sure if their giardinera was not hot, , but I tried a piece of my kids cheese pizza and realized the sauce is very sweet! They have had great pizza for years, but have changed too much to have me consider them as a go to pizza place. As far as the rest of their menu, I can not comment. read more

Hit the place for the first time before going to Cruisin Nights. Got there early and it wasn't terribly busy. Waited a LONG time before we got waited on just to get drinks. Then to place orders. Glad we didn't ask for the stuffed pizza, which the menu says takes 40 minutes. Because it took 40 minutes just to get thin crust. And if I've waited a long while to give you my order, please don't stop to gab with people, cuz that means my order is still not in the kitchen. The pizza was good. Not great. A little bland. If we had to wait that long, I was hoping the pizza would be killer. Took a while to get the bill as well. 90 minutes total. We'll try it again, since it's local and we like to patronize our town's businesses, but I'm hoping they fix a few things before then. read more

The food is poor and uninspired. Pasta not allowed to properly drain so water on bottom of dish and seems to be jar sauce. Pizza had no flavor and had to wait forever to get. We got a large regular crust pizza with sausage and light sauce. Overall a pretty solid pizza option, it was cooked well and had good flavor. The sauce was savory not sweet, which I liked. We got light sauce as some of the pictures we saw beforehand looked a little too sauced for our taste, however, if you're going for regular crust I wouldn't do light sauce again. The "regular" crust is definitely more like most places thick crust, so if you're not a fan of doughy pizza opt for the thin crust. We also got the Italian beef and fries. The beef was good but had a small portion of meat. We will be back to try the thin crust next time. I hope the inside is able to open up soon as it looked very nice inside! Worst experience ever. I strongly advise against visiting this so called "family friendly" restaurant. Customers, who appeared to be regulars harass small children telling a 3 year old to "shut up". Yes- the kids were antsy, as were we since we waited over 45 minutes for a 12' cheese and olive pizza when the restaurant wasn't even busy. Then an employee made a rude comment to us without hesitation. The owner showed no concern for how her regulars or employees treat other patrons, creating an unwelcoming and hostile environment. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more family-friendly establishment. read more

Ordered pickup Pan pizza from their new location closer to our home in Westmont. Normally it is at perfection but this time the pizza was overly burned to a crisp and the cheese topping was burnt and chewy. Hopefully it was growing pains and they return to the quality control that the Downers location once had. read more

We started with the veggie basket, a bit small for the price, some things f the veggies were well done. Turns out we we're not big fans of the pizza. The sauce is subjective and we did not love it. Not the best not the worst thin crust " sausage " pizza in the area. Don't get me wrong I'm really complaining. The pizza sauce is a creamy sweet tomato sauce, the "sausage" lacks fennel, sage and caraway. The crispy thin crust is almost cracker thin with a true cracker flavor. My wife ordered one pizza and it was 32 dollars with delivery. It doesn't seem realistic to have pizza cost that much.

Wings were bad. Asked for x crispy but got x soggy. looked like they'd been fried and tossed in sauce then thrown back in to try to make x crispy cause the Buffalo was brown. when we complained Christina offered to come take back the old wings & bring new ones- health code violation. we said no thanks well just take a credit for the wings. fast forward to last night we wanted to use our credit. called, same chick as last time answered, Christina. she said we can't get a credit that they won't do that. eventually she agreed to do a $10 credit for $15 wings that had to be thrown in the trash. like fr soggy. So we were getting a pizza for 22 bucks. okay no big deal. I did not give her my room # ,told her to meet outside my building & call upon arrival. well I'm just chillin at 10pm and hear BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG. look out the peep whole and she was delivering the pizza herself to my door. I didn't even give her my room number and how the hell did she get in the locked lobby front door. I said hold on.. went to open it and BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG again before I could open it. When I opened the door probably looking extremely confused she said oh my phone is on the charger so I didn't call. I thought wtf but still tipped her $8 on a $22. I figured she was running behind/slow or something then I realized it was just the same bitch from before, Christina. Shocked she got in the building and had the audacity to bang on a door at 10 pm. Dare her to try that to others in this building. I'm also letting my building manager know she came in without permission after being told not to. She did not have a key & trespassed. I am an Italian beef connoisseur, and the brand-new Mrs. T's Pizza restaurant (which opened this week) hit the five-star mark. I ordered (for takeout) an Italian beef sandwich, with sides of au jus, jardiniere, and pizza sauce. My order was ready in 10 minutes! The sandwich was totally delicious! The meat was tender, and the au jus had a wonderful not-too-spicy flavor. I slathered it with pizza sauce (I can't have marinara), and sparingly put the jardiniere on the sandwich. It was on a fresh French roll which had a crispy outside, and very new inside. I usually eat half for dinner and save the other half for a late-night snack. I was so thrilled with the taste, that I ate the entire sandwich, and called the restaurant to compliment them on a fantastic meal. I will put this review on a wonderful sandwich on my top-five favorite Italian beef sandwiches. read more

First time customers. We had lunch here, empty restaurant. Great pizza, nice and greasy....excellent thin crust...anchovies and sausage very good. Large Caesar salad was shared with my wife, they brought out individual salads for us. Really nice. Very clean and modern looking. Nice atmosphere. The wait staff was very efficient and congenial.
