We have stopped many times, and the food is great. Their fried pies are the best. Burgers are to die for!!

We all ordered the cheeseburger with tater tots. I almost ordered the double cheeseburger but after seeing it at the next table, I am so glad I didn't, it was huge! I like the meat to bun ratio at this place, lots of meat with just enough bun! The tots, IMO, are the best I have ever had. Everyone was friendly and the service was quick! The atmosphere is a classic diner with about 12-15 tables inside and a couple tables outdoors. Definitely give this place a try! read more

Maybe the problem is that we only got ice cream and fried pies however it was just bad. The burgers on other tables did look good. The service was amazing and quick but would not return. read more

This place takes me back in time to old diners and record players. This review is for takeout only...Yet we felt the warm hospitality of the servers. The chicken burger was top notch and so was the butterscotch fried pie(although I would love to try a fruity flavor next time) pie and caramel concrete. Definitely a keeper. Small place with a fifties theme. This was probably the best burger we've had in Branson and got our repeat business. They make great shakes and malts with flavors you don't usually see. I had a raspberry and the wife had peanut butter. Want to try cherry or pineapple next. Fries were nothing special but were hot and fresh. They only do cash or check tho so be ready! I was hesitant at first because the outside doesn't "grab" you. It looks pretty basic amongst all of the other flair within Branson the strip. My boys convinced me to give it a try for various reason - 1) the dollar amount was listed with one $; 2) the reviews were fantastic; and 3) "always eat local, dad - not chains!" Let me say this - this is not only one of the BEST burgers I've ever eaten, but everything about this place ROCKED! It's a full pound burger, so you won't leave hungry. One of my sons got the foot long chili cheese coney ("Nathan's!"), and it was also the best I've ever had. The onion rings were solid, and the tots were good as well. BUT THOSE SHAKES... Wow! Easily the best I've ever had. The strawberry was perfect consistency of flavor, fruit and thickness. The peanut butter chocolate malt was so good that everybody else got one. I tried voting (thebestofbranson.com) for their shakes and coneys, but the restaurant wasn't listed. Feeding five people got the price a little higher than one $ (I'd say two $$), but the experience was worth it. The 50's atmosphere and the servers just topped it off. Incredibly friendly. Going forward, this will absolutely be one of our go-to stops in Branson! read more

The food was excellent. Our waitress was also excellent. But then the "manager" and 70 something year old lady came to serve us our food and it was wrong, which is totally fixable, it wasn't that big of a deal and then she began arguing with me. I really thought about slapping her. She needed it. If it wasn't for her, I would have given 5 stars. Then I heard her arguing with another group of people because one person in the party had a food allergy which apparently made her mad. I'm not sure why she is the manager. Just as great as it was the first time we were here around seven years ago. We started with onion rings as an appetizer, and they were fantastic. We all got either burgers or cheeseburgers. One patty, at 1/2 lb. is plenty unless you're starving. Burgers are flavorful, and toppings are fresh and crisp. Tots and sweet potato fries were also delicious. For dessert, two of us got hot fudge sundaes, and the other two got the blackberry and peach cobblers. Ice cream was a little soft since they had been adding more mix, but it was still really good. The one downside is that it's cash only, but there's signs warning you in advance, and they've got an ATM if you need it. Still one of the better burgers I've had. This is a must stop when you're in Branson. read more

We really enjoyed our burgers here - juicy get cooked well. As others have said, splitting the double cheese burger and fries is plenty for a Dad and a child. The cherry limeade was a wonderful surprise. We were so full we could not order any of the tempting desserts so I guess we will just have to come back - darn! There's a lot of of good burger joints in Branson and we didn't get a chance to try them all, but I'm so glad we listened to the online reviews and made it to Billy Bob's Dairyland. Absolutely fantastic burger! Fries were perfect as was the shake. Burgers seem to have become their own category of food these days with smash burgers, crazy expensive wagyu burgers, and everything in between. Billy Bob's was just a great burger. Nothing fancy, nothing over-the-top, but a great tasting, enjoyable burger. The kids loved it too! I'd we make it back to Branson, Billy Bob's will be on the short list of must-eat places. read more

This is the perfect 'diner from the past' with awesome 1/2 pound cheeseburgers. A double cheeseburger is a whole pound! Memorabilia on the walls that takes you back to the 50's and they have the shakes and malts as well. This is a very affordable restaurant and definitely family friendly. The servers are very friendly as well, which is impressive when they are handling so many guests in high season. Be prepared for a wait (but there are lines everywhere in Branson during vacation time) and being cash because they don't take credit cards. There is an ATM available on premises. read more

Such a cute place! They have adorable Betty boop icons everywhere and I love Betty boop, as my name is Betty! Teehee. But it's a cute diner. We sat down to eat and it probably took like 30-40 minutes for the food to come out, which was a bit long... but I bet it's because the kitchen was small and the place was packed. Great place for breakfast. We were greeted at the door with a smile and immediately seated. Our drink orders were taken and brought to the table quickly. The burger was a decent size, but the tomato & onions were virtually non existent. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be petty, just honest. When I pay 9.00+ for a burger and ask for onions & tomatoes I expect just that. I was given one pitiful looking tomato & a sliver of onion the size of 2 of my fingernails. Ugh...there's nothing like preparing your palette to eat something you've anticipated only to find it's lacking.. Omg. Well, the highlight of the trip there was they have the best fried pies. Pluses: very clean, especially because it was extremely busy! Our waitress was very cheery (don't remember if she said her name but she had a tattoo'd hand... Negatives: Again. They were very busy. But no one came to check on us or refill drinks. (I wonder if we'd have like to try one of their good looking shakes? They'll never know......). I even had to go up to the counter to request cutlery. And I presume the owner was working the cash register. Some man in a red Kerry Christmas sweatshirt that would've made more sense if he was wearing a grinch sweatshirt. The food... burger was okay. Very dry. Normally I don't use mustard but today I did. A lot. Are about 1/2 and gave up. The fries and onion rings were most likely frozen and from Sams or some equivalent. We ordered a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich meal to go. By the time we returned to hotel and opened our food, we found that those burgers only have meat in it and nothing else. No lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no pickle. Nothing. When we check back the pictures from Yelp, it is definitely not what it supposed to be! (-1 star) So, we called back to the restaurant and ask them about it. Then they said "oh! We include them when you ask for it. But you didn't ask for it!" Excuse me! How would I know that you include lettuce and tomato only when I actively ask for it?!?! And there was no information coming from you whatsoever! (-1 star) That was not right. So we asked to talk to the manager. After I described the situation, the manager just said "we are very busy. Just tell us what do you want! Do you want us to remake the order?" We were only two person and we don't needed two extra burgers, and we were exhausted after a day of travel and didn't want to leave the hotel room again. Instead, we said we are going to come back tomorrow, and let's give me a discount tomorrow? But the manager flip flopped, and said she can't make make the decision, and I have to talk to the owners tomorrow. (-1 star) I called the next afternoon, but then they say the owner is gone for the day already. As frustrated as I was, I left my number and told them have the owners call me instead. But that's the end, and the owners never call me back at all. (-1 star) I totally understand when someone make mistakes. We are all human. That's forgivable. But when you make excuses for your mistakes, doesn't want to fix that mistake, and not even call back and talk to the customers. That's unforgivable! read more
