I'm not sure what all of the hype is about but I ate there during last winter and I wasn't impressed. The evening I went with my family they were not to terribly busy but the service was poor, you had to flag down a waitress to get something. The whole place smelled like a dirty grease pit, I'm not sure if their venting was not running or working but it smelled like old grease. The burger was also dry and tasteless. They only take cash which is not very flexible given the many options that merchants have to take credit cards for a lower fee now. read more

We stopped here on a whim. Food was awesome. I had single burger. Husbamd had double burger. His burger was a whole pound. Great butgers. Super thick large shakes. At least 20 flavors of shakes. Fried pies too. Even cozy dogs and pork tenderloin sandwiches. This is a must stop place. Be warned. Go for late lunch or early or late dinner. There is quite a crowd. Not sure where these folks giving it 4 and 5 stars eat when they travel or go out but Billy Bob's was a disappointment. -Cherry Limeade...Sonic's is better. -Cheeseburger w/fries platter - fries are frozen fried fries I can't get at any grocery store; except these tasted or freezer burn. Nun was toasted and tasted good as did the burger. Burger was definitely the best part of meal but didn't have much flavor. -my four year old order a hot dog and burnt on one side; apparently they forgot to turn on grill. -The gals at the diner were all friendly and courteous. read more

We have 3 kids under 10 and we all loved it. The portion size is big and they were very accommodating to us splitting meals and even let the split side be different. Ex. Our kids split the chili cheese dog and one child had tarot tots and the other had sweet potato fries. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Branson. read more

We had a large group of thirteen who ate there mid-afternoon on Wednesday. The restaurant was almost full, but there were able to accommodate our group. Most of us ordered hamburgers, but some ordered the tenderloins. All of the food was excellent and the service matched the quality of the food. Those that ordered the hamburgers were surprised at the size of the burger and commented that a double hamburger had to be huge and one would need a very hardy appetite. The ice cream cones were also of good size and thoroughly enjoyed by those that had them. We will definitely return! read more

Such amazing food! It's a cool atmosphere and the service was good. It is priced well but we got shakes and a basket of chili fries to go with our burgers so that made it a little expensive. The food was wonderful and everything was fresh. They were very busy but the staff remained calm and professional and were very kind and accommodating. Would have been a 5 star review but there were quite a few people walking around without masks. I would have preferred they enforce a mask rule when people walk in. We loved this place! A fun hometown old burger joint. So glad we checked Yelp before choosing a place to eat. It kept us from any of the chain restaurants, which is always a good thing! This was the best meal I've had in Branson! I started with a cherry malt. It was FANTASTIC! I'm so glad I ordered the malt before I ordered my food because I would have been too full to tackle it otherwise, and it would have been a shame to miss it! I had the burger and fry basket. The burger was not one of those little, frozen patties. It was a thick burger served on a toasted bun. Soooooo goooood! If you leave that place hungry, it's your own fault! Good 'comfort' foods: burgers, hot dogs, Frito pies. Our table had each, plus fired pies and cobbler for dessert. Really really good.

Don't miss this place as the burgers and malts are fabulous. It's a little diner, situated by a gas station, but you normally find the best food in such locations. They run their tails off to take care of their customers. One night we bailed on a really bad country music show and arrived at Billy Bob's shortly before closing. They took good care of us even though they were ready to go home. You won't see a lot of promotion for Billy Bob's but word spreads through people who know about it. Without question the best restaurant in town. One hint: the regular cheeseburger is plenty big--don't attempt a double. read more

I took my son and nephew there on July 2nd. It was awesome!! There always seems to be a wait but they move people through pretty fast. We had a double cheese burger (great), chicken fingers (great) and a BLT (amazing). We also got shakes. 1 vanilla and 2 orange freeze.
