We have been here several times and it has been a good experience. The service is excellent, my order especially the drive thru has been without issues. Horrible service! This place does not provide what the customer ordered. A poor boy plus sandwich was ordered with moist, not dry brisket. I received a sandwich with dry, yes, "dry" slices of brisket that not amount of sauce could rescue.... How come i can sit in a Mexican restaurant but ONLY get drive through here? Sure, you're saving thousands of dollars a day in labor by having the dining room closed. In addition to all of the cleaning supplies, napkins, condiments, not having to wash trays, not having to clean restrooms and saving electricity from doors constantly opening and closing letting all of the air conditioning out, but how many customers are you disenchanting that will only eat dine in. Chicken was awesome along with the green beans. The potato salad and Mac and cheese were decent. What got me was the brisket. I literally had to give it to my dogs. It's not moist, there's no flavor and basically just felt like I was eating well done ground beef with no seasoning that had been hard pressed into the shape of brisket. Bill Miller! Woot woot! I think it's good, y'all! To me it's kind of like fast food barbecue. This is a chain, so I always know what to expect. I typically get their chopped beef sandwich with fries. These sandwiches have tasted the same to me for years and years. It's just dependably good. You can get one sandwich for under $2, or you can get a meal that consists of two sandwiches, fries, and a drink for under $6. That's pretty good. We're in town scoping out the area - relocating to CC (from Destin. Good lord...) and for convenience we ate at this Bill Miller two nights in a row last week. The first night (Wednesday) I got the chopped beef sandwich kids meal and a bean and cheese burrito. I was hungry! Turns out I should've been getting a kids meal all along. The sandwich was regular size, small order of fries, a brownie (!), and a small drink. I didn't end up eating the burrito because I was too full, but that hung was substantial in size. My husband got the chicken sandwich meal plus a slice of coconut cream pie. Second night I got the chicken sandwich meal with a portion of peach cobbler (wasn't a fan). Their chicken sandwiches are so, so good. Nice and crunchy on the outside, and the chicken portions have always been huge. Very, very good! Both nights we ate for $15-$16. That's A LOT of good quality food for very little $. Every Bill Miller I've been to has been nice and clean, with friendly employees. This location is no different. Look, if you visit Texas and are looking for a real deal barbecue experience, I wouldn't suggest coming here. I'm just being honest. There are tons of other places that serve more...authentic (?) barbecue. But this is dependably good food for very little money. Bill Miller is as good as fast food gets that can still taste like you are in a sit down grease trap... The barbeque is really not all that great so I prefer the chicken fried steak or chicken tenders. Both are very good here and with the sweet tea, makes for a VERY good meal at a reasonalble price. The only thing about them is that their menus vary from location to location. For instance, ones in San Antonio do not have chicken fried steak and only tenders... They also did away with mashed potatoes which I thought were very good. Over all a well earned 3/5 from a good, fast, and inexpensive place to eat. read more

Don't come here if you expect full blown BBQ sensations. They served me plain cold pinto beans instead of BBQ baked beans. I had the beef brisket, which was under cooked and more fat than usual, and the pork ribs, which had little flavor but tough as jerky. I also tried the pulled pork sandwich, which was quite good because of a unique sauce that was both tangy and sweet with a touch of spice. Easy on, easy off especially when heading northbound. Reasonably priced barbecue. Tomato based sauce is sweet and tangy, portions are good. Restrooms were cleanly and service was friendly. Good local place. Our kids enjoyed a reasonably sized baked potato and some fries. I love Bill Millers! It is fast but not fast food! The staff is always happy and cheerful. The brisket, bbq chicken and sausage are always great! I love the soup/salad combo with sweet tea. My kiddos love the pie! I like to take my family there to eat or pick up and take dinner home. The restaurant is alway clean. The condiment bar in the middle is my fave! Upon my peaceful drive back from a great two days of fishing, we decided to drop into Bill Millers for lunch. We typically do so after every trip, even with a hang over (as ole Bill's is the cure) BUT NOT TODAY. Put in the request for the #9 chicken strip sandwich, and forked over a crisp $10 bill for my meal. Mouth dripping with drool waiting on the thought of crunching through a crispy chicken sandwich, the wait was excruciating.... a short 5 minute wait later I finally had my hands on the chicken of champions. But little did I know that soon a piece of my soul would be stripped away from me as I peeled back the foil wrapping. Some lazy crooked employee from the back had left my chicken sandwich without the top bun. A simple thought has blazed through my mind, how do you knowingly wrap a chicken sandwich without the darn top bun? Basically, a person who had the IQ of a 4 year old child. I will say my heart is weak, and my moral is low as I type this review fighting back the tears from dropping onto my topless chicken. If I had known my chicken did not have the top bun because the top bun was infected with the corona virus, I believe I would have elected to risk it for the bun, even though the corona virus would be worth not grieving and feeling the pain that I now feel.
