One of the best hard ciders I've ever had! Peach! My corn cup was really good and a unique option for a BBQ place I thought. The nachos were pretty dry unfortunately. I think they'd be better with queso cheese rather than the shredded cheese. read more

Not a busy night when I stopped in. Was able to get to the counter to place my food order and drink order fairly quickly. The food arrived fairly quickly. They had some reasonable music playing. Overall pricey experience for not a great meal. Famous nachos smoked turkey was Ratio of chips to everything else was probably 90% chips to 10% everything else for $16 .... the picture I attached makes it look very good on presentation, but all the toppings are on the top and there is tons of chips underneath those toppings. Being served that many chips you should be provided a side of salsa just to have something to dip the naked chip in.. very expensive for chips. Beer was good , cold. read more

we stopped here after our trip to the aquarium. It was pretty quiet at 3pm on a Saturday. Staff was friendly. Choice of beer is good. I question why a cider was twice the price as beer... $12 vs $6. But the food was good. We had ribs and brisket. Generous portions and we ended up taking some home. read more

We attended an event at Nueces Brewing after a long day of riding motorcycles, and we were definitely ready for something good to eat. We ordered the street tacos and an elote cup, and both dishes hit the spot. The tacos had solid flavor -- simple, well‑seasoned, and satisfying after a full day out. The elote cup was the standout for me, with that tangy Tajín kick blended into the mayo. It gave it a bright, zesty flavor that made it easy to finish. Overall, it was a good quick bite paired with the relaxed brewery atmosphere. If you're already here for an event or a drink, the food is a nice bonus. read more

Good solid brew options. The food was not fabulous but the beer was good. The vibe inside is casual and relaxed. The guy behind the bar was not super helpful, but the young man working alongside him was killing it. He was going above and beyond in every way. read more

Stopped by Nueces in Corpus Christi and had a solid barbecue experience. We ordered the brisket, sausages, a side of elote, potato salad and everything was flavored just right. A few pieces of the brisket leaned a little dry, but nothing too bad. The space is very open with plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Overall, a great spot for BBQ. Loved that they had sauces, pickles and peppers that you can load up on as you please! read more

First things first, I'm a pescatarian and thus going into a traditional BBQ in Texas is probably not a great place for me and dinning... but who cares? They are also a brewery! The beers my wife had were very tasty and fresh. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The facility is nice, clean and pleasent to enjoy an adult beverage. The BBQ did smell amazing and they have the complete Texan condiment bar. read more

What an amazing brewery. All of their beer selections are brewed in-house, and every one I tried was excellent. The bartender/server was an absolute gem--super friendly, conversational, and genuinely fun to talk to. I even ended up chatting with some locals, which really added to the vibe. The atmosphere is perfect for kicking back at the bar, enjoying great beer, and having good conversations. Good vibes all around. They also serve food; I didn't get a chance to try it, but plenty of people were ordering and everything coming out looked great. If you're in Corpus Christi and looking for a quality brewery experience, this is the spot. Easily the best one in town. read more

As always, I have to start my review with the fact that they have a 3% credit card surcharge. That's B.S. in my opinion - I'll leave it at that. We ordered the 2 meat and 2 sides for $22. It was turkey, brisket, potato salad, and mac & cheese. The beer selection is really good, but the bbq is just so-so. I'd go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. It's a fun place to hang out on a weekend afternoon - the 3% surcharge really turns me off though. read more

A fun, casual bbq joint with a cashier to order drinks and food. The brisket tasted excellent with great, deep flavors and melt in your mouth texture. The bbq sauces were also top notch and one of my favorite perks about this restaurant. They bring the food out to you and they have decent sides that I really enjoyed. The green beans weren't smoothed in oil and the pinto beans were great. They had somewhat of a vinegar aftertaste so just keep that note if you are looking for more traditional pinto beans. Very dog friendly with an outdoor patio. Water and non-alcoholic drinks are serve yourself. Really liked their beer! To note: they charge a 3% fee for credit cards. I don't notice this until after I paid and looked at the receipt. I'm not a regular so it came as a surprise. read more

Nueces Brewing & BBQ - Double brisket plus Hefeweizen beer - Breweries Near Me - Corpus Christi, Texas

I did not get a chance to take pics because we just dug right on in for the BBQ (and we all didn't get any beer?!- like what). In all honesty, we were looking at other bbq joints but they were all closed on Thursday- is this a random Corpus Christi thing? Who knows. We got the Pulled Pork Mac N Cheese and a 2 meats,2 sides combo with pork ribs and brisket (they only had chopped left). Sides were corn cup elote and Cole slaws the portions slightly smaller than what I've seen at other Texas bbq joints but nonetheless good! Service was spectacular- this guy who was helping to deliver food, wipe down tables, etc was ON it. Didn't catch his name but thank you! read more

We always have a great pit stop here, either coming or going from Houston to the valley their brisket tacos are some of the best we've ever had, today I had the Corte Suprema American light lager 7%abv, which paired well with the tacos! The brewery staff are always nice and welcoming, one block over and you're at a nice view of the bay. No time for picks, everything too good. read more

Good gathering place with large tables. Very average BBQ. Beer is better than BBQ. Service seems good but if you want to drink a beer and eat average BBQ while watching UT opening football season don't go downtown you will be disappointed. Every time we go into Nueces, the staff is so friendly and helpful! Their beer and food are both incredible! When they have a Saturday Market, the restaurant can get quite busy, so plan to go earlier. What a fun way for a local business to support small businesses! They also have rotating, local art for sale inside the brewery. It makes for a beautiful atmosphere, plus you never know what art you'll see next time you go in! read more

Food was great, wonderful atmosphere for large group or small. Kid friendly and easy!

I'll start with the good. The service was great and the beer was really good. I would come back for just the beer. Now for the bad, the food is not worth the price. We had the brisket nachos and the brisket was dry and hard. We didn't even really taste the brisket on the nachos because there wasn't much on the nachos. We also had a brisket sandwich and if you want to be disappointed this would be the one to get. For $10 you get one small slice of brisket cut in half between buns. You taste more bread than brisket since there was hardly any brisket. Like I said I would come back for drinks but would skip the food and walk over to whataburger for a meal. read more

This old car dealership turned brewery doubles as a showroom floor for some nice works of art covering the walls. We just stopped by for some lunch but I had to try the peanut butter stout which was rich and delicious. The chicken street tacos and brisket sandwich were both good although not a lot of food. The potato salad was also good, but coleslaw was essentially just shredded cabbage, not much seasoning or dressing. This place is probably fun with a big group. The waitstaff were all very cool & friendly. read more

Cool brewery right on the shoreline. Been here twice and we like eating their bbq. Got their chips and queso which was $9... and the cheese tasted like petroleum or had a weird aftertaste which everyone felt the same. Couldn't eat past a few bites. Barely touched it. 9 bucks for this?? Not worth it. Whatever you do DONT GET THE QUESO! read more

Large group came here during a conference lunch and service was fast, food was delicious, seating was ample! Upon entry you can order and then it's open seating at the large picnic style tables. Sweet tea was delicious, I opted to try Mac and cheese, elote, and a pulled pork quesadilla. Everything was delicious and good portions. I recently visited Nueces Brewing with family for lunch and drinks. The brewery's beer selection is fantastic from light refreshing lagers and pilsners to heavier tripel and ale options. For food the brewery has an extensive barbecue menu. I ordered a platter with Brisket, Pork Rib, Garlic Sausage, Elote, and Mac N Cheese. The brisket was tender, moist, and nicely peppery. The rib was nicely seasoned and smokey. The sausage was meaty and flavorful. The elote was citrusy, tangy and buttery. The mac n cheese was soft and savory. Overall, our visit was very enjoyable. read more

Nueces Brewing & BBQ - Brisket, Pork Rib, Garlic Sausage, Elote, Mac N Cheese - Breweries Near Me - Corpus Christi, Texas

I love bbq. Coming from Kansas City, I have my preferences and let me say that they delivered here. Their brisket is a must. Whether it's on nachos or just the combo, it's delicious. I will say the combo with two sides you only get 2 slices of brisket so eat slowly and savor, but it's yummy. The brisket nachos were flavorful- pinto beans seasoned, pico nice and spicy, and all topped with a dollop of sour cream. Tex Mex at its finest. The potato salad was also yummy. It's brightness with its dill and mayo was delightful. The only thing that didn't deliver was the Mac and cheese. The flavor fell flat but that is just a personal preference. I would want more dimension. The noodles were over cooked. Try the others! The staff was friendly and the place was super clean and spacious. Lots of tvs for sports! Would definitely come back! read more

Fun, dog friendly, kid friendly, and good food. I'm not a beer drinker, but from what I saw, others really did enjoy their brews with multiple refills! There is also a patio outside that is lighted and has a Jenna game to play! The ladies behind d the bar were fabulous, quick with my order, and super friendly. My order came out perfect without any errors. Hubby and I stopped in for lunch at about 2 pm. on a Friday afternoon. Walking distance from the ocean front. The atmosphere is a relaxed, beachy vibe. The bar staff again are friendly. The tables are cleaned quickly. The floors are sparkly clean. Bathrooms were clean, too! The Pulled Pork nachos were so good! The pulled pork was just the right mix of savory spices. Tasty and not spicy! It came with pico, sour cream, and jalapeños (we left the pico jalapeño off due to dietary restrictions. Very tasty! Very filling for us to split. When in Corpus again, I can see coming back again! read more

Favorite brewery in Corpus Christi. Their brewery is large so there's usually ample seating. They also have a patio if you're wanting to sit outside. Nueces Brewery is a modern trendy bar, brewery and barbecue joint that opened a few years ago. From what I can tell, it was part of a local trend to capitalize on a popular one from bigger cities in Texas - breweries that doubled as bars/eateries. I was really happy to see them open up. The space they renovated and now inhabit was one of the many rundown buildings in Downtown Corpus, and the addition of this type of business has only helped to further modernize the city and help drive economic development. And to their full credit, it is a really cool establishment. From what I have heard, their beer is really good. The vibes there are solid and laid back. They also play really good music - yesterday we had a work meeting there and I recall hearing Daft Punk, Sneaker Pimps, and Salt-N-Pepa, to name a few artists that had my head bobbing. Now, the barbecue is legit STX bbq. It is really good, IMO! Not originally a barbecue restaurant, they were fairly savvy to turn it into one early on in the pandemic when Texas had not yet reopened bars, but was allowing restaurants to operate at limited capacity. They have since maintained the restaurant, which has only enhanced what they already had to offer. read more

Stumbled across this gem while trying to find some good bbq. I got the brisket and pulled pork to go along with the Mac and cheese and potato salad.
