We arrived in time for bingo and played with mostly locals which made for a fun time 4-6P ... we shared a charcuterie board from the food truck which was good. I tried the flight and my reviews are Daisy: Great crisp taste with a dry after taste Lucy Lue: Great fresh citrus taste, almost a hint of the taste of orange crush Wizzard: this was personally my least favorite of the flight, just not for my tastebuds, but i could see myself getting accustomed to the flavor, not bad at all just not my top choice. While the beer and wine's are good. I had my medical alert service dog with me. Yes he is a smaller dog and very cute but HE IS A SERVICE Dog for medical alert! We were sitting in the garden area and a older male employee came out saw my dog who wears a service dog vest, a patch that says stop do not distract and a lead that says service dog. He totally ignored all of that, proceeded to walk over talking baby talk to my dog, ignored me saying he was working and is a service dog. now my dog is looking at him and getting excited. He proceeded to take my dogs head in both hands and held it while still ignoring everything including me. He actually pulled on his head and neck holding it so my dog had NO choice but to look at him while being petted and talked tonin baby talk. When he finally let him go my dog started coughing and had breathing issues immediately afterwards. NEVER has that happened before. This type if behavior UNACCEPTABLE! It destroys 100's of hours of training. Because this happens often enough he thinks everyone is now his friend! it will take me many many hours of retraining which is becoming more and more difficult because he is becoming confused. Now if I go into a non dog friendly place if he were to act up I would get kicked out. They would view him as a pet or emotional support dog. I am more than angry, you have caused undue stress both on me and my dog. 1. Never just approach and pet anyones dog without asking. 2. Never ever distract a working service dog. 3. Learn the difference between a service dog, emotional support dogs and people throwing a service dog vest on their dog. Hopefully I can get him back to ignoring people and focusing on me. If not you just took a medical necessity away and made my life difficult. Scent alert dogs are extremely hard to find ones suitable and train. A very small percentage actually make it with getting washed out and people like this can take a highly trained dog and destroy all that training. I am writing this at 3am because I am that angry and sick of people doing this type of behavior! My life is tough enough I don't need it made more difficult. read more

Yelp says good for kids. It is not good for kids. We walked in with a sleeping infant in a stroller and a group. Was told we could not come in with the sleeping infant. No one checks websites to see if little ones are allowed. You visit the town, see a brewery, assume it is going to be amazing like all other breweries and it's not. First brewery in which I have seen this. Brewery in name but not culture. They did sarcastically offer beer to be purchased to go. No thanks. Will take my business elsewhere. After looking at the owners response to every sort of criticism, I'm very happy that we did not support this business. Barking dogs- okay Kids- not okay because it may disturb the customers. read more

Good beer. Good people. Loved all of the games on every table to give everybody something to engage. I bought a shirt where all of the proceeds go to the local shelter. I highly recommend. If you do not like beer then they also have wine. I did not have the wine but it must be good by how many people were taking bottles home with them. read more

No IPA's. Sold old and two weeks till the next batch. Hubby is a true IPA guy. He settled for another and said it was decent. I had the caramel stout and it was delicious! Will have to stop by again so hubs can try an IPA. The folks were very nice and great to talk to. read more

Dogs welcome! This is such a coool brewery! They have some cool, unique beers that you don't find at every local microbrewery, or beer tap! They're brewing up some unique beers here. I went for the flight, which was very reasonably priced. There were four beers included, so I went for a coffee stout, the blood orange IPA, a heffeweizen and a pilsner. The beers were quite decent, but didn't seem to hold to the standards for some of the style of beers. The heffeweizen was super clean and clear, which isn't really typical for a heffe. It was a tasty beer, but a improvisation on the style. The pilsner lacked that simple crisp clean taste, but instead seemed to have had undertones of rich darker grains and maltiness. I enjoyed each beer- the blood orange beer was amazing, but the coffee stout was my favorite, and I went back for a pint of that. It had a dark coffee aftertaste to a chocolately maltiness. Yum. They've got their brewery equipment proudly on display out in the front part of the space- it's behind glass and is spotlessly clean! So I'm not sure if this is really a separate business from the Winery on the Bay, but they seem to occupy the same location in the Rockport Arts District downtown. Since it shares a spot with the winery, they also of course sell lots of wines with cool coastal names. There's also a bit of brewery swag- I scored a bumper sticker! read more

Extremely well run brewery and winery! Some friends and I went yesterday and had a magnificent time. Tried every single one of their beers and a number of their wines. And we were blown away by everything. The Hefeweizen and the Caramel Coffee Stout were my favorites. Pro tip: if anyone in your party doesn't drink but still wants to hang out, the manager made a killer virgin frozen Pina colada. My wife absolutely loved it! They ship their wines anywhere as well so definitely check out their website and support this great winery/brewery. Staff was super nice as well. Wish I could have given this place an actual review based on their beer. Was in town for vacation, with family, as most people are....and just wanted a cold beer after walking a mile into town. We have been to over 200 breweries with our extremely well behaved son, and walk up to find out he is not allowed in. Went down to Rock Bottom and enjoyed an IPA with the fam. I'm sure they lose a ton of business to them. read more

I have no idea why someone would say the staff is rude. The staff here (including the adjoining winery) has always been polite and helpful whenever I or my family have come. Have a great variety of tasty/fresh made beers. Prices are very reasonable for a local brewery. Even with Texas laxing covid measures this local business keeps staff and customer safety I priority by requiring masks which I appreciate. They also offer to-go cans which is almost unheard of for a brewery this size. Please support local breweries. read more

If I could give a zero star I would. Our experience started out great. The male bartender with the tattoos was awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The sign outside said under 18 not allowed. We we were in town visiting family and had our 13 and 15 year old boys with us. We let them sit outside on the patio. We were inside for an hour enjoying our flights of wine and beer with no issues. Then one of the owners came to our table and told us that our children couldn't even be on the patio. We asked if we could finish our drinks and he said said yes. He then proceeded to go to the patio and tell my children they had to leave and stand on the street. He also made another family that was sitting outside leave as well because of their child. They were very unhappy as well. As we were leaving another group was entering with an infant and they were asked to leave as well. This owner also took the tic tac toe game away from my 13 and 15 year old children as they were playing the game. They were causing no issues whatsoever. Most successful breweries and wineries are family friendly. It's understandable to not not want them inside but why not on the patio even with their parents? They are not toddlers they were not disruptive. We were very happy to support a small business but unfortunately will not go back and my family that lives in Rockport will not either. Also, the female bartender was extremely rude and had the audacity to say that most of their patrons get babysitters. Very condescending. We are visiting Rockport and wanted to support a local business. Just bad business practice. Turning away three different groups who would have spent money. read more
