I ordered sausage and sauce for a funeral Saturday. They took my check a couple of weeks ago, but wouldn't today. They were rude and no one smiled. $64 for 5 lbs of sausage should have made them smile. They were going to give me a small cup of sauce and I told them they always gave me the large cup of sauce. We have been to this location many times in the past several years. A few times the ribs have been too peppery/spicy for my taste, but we have been very happy, overall. Good sweet tea, brisket and regular sausage has always been delicious, and several times the ribs have been superb. My favorite side is their delicious Mac n cheese, but we also enjoy the baked beans and green beans. The staff is often young and fairy friendly and helpful and they keep the tables and floors clean for guests who choose to dine in. One suggestion I would make them is to add chocolate ice cream to the soft serve machine, that would really make my day, but it's a free bonus, so can't really complain about that!!! read more

I tried to place my wife's order and explain to this lil snob that my wife is highly allergic to jalapenos. She angrily told me the other girl just wiped the cutting board off (I observed only the cuttings were wiped off 2 meals BEFORE my order), it was not cleaned. Once again while i tried to explain about the allergies, the lil girl interrupted me and almost yelled at me that the other girl had just "cleaned" the cutting board. This family restaurant has expanded and has meeting room and 2 large dining areas. Walk through line and you pick your desired entrees. Their BBQ is 5, employees are always polite and helpful. Had a Corvette Club meeting in their private room and members loved it and the food. My family's been going there for maybe 20 years I'm guessing. Went in Around 2:30 Pm the employees were very rude and did not greet us as we walked in. I asked if I can go ahead and add sausage to my plate and the employee got upset and started removing brisket out of my plate as if It was too much , as I was about to pay I asked if I can please get pickles and sauce which the other employee gave me attitude and said you get the pickles yourself behind you. I paid and as we were leaving not one employee said thank you or good bye ! The BBQ at Miller's isn't the best in town but if you need some BBQ... On the day that we went the lean brisket was very dry and the moist (Marbled) wasn't cooked long enough thus making it tough to pull apart. Now one thing I do like about Miller's is that the ribs are nice and tasty. If you're needing BBQ and are in the NW area of town then stop on by and have the sausage or chicken. We had Po-boy plates catered to work today. The sandwich itself was delicious. It had a great combination of sausage, brisket and chopped beef on a nice soft roll. The sauce was tangy with a little spice. The sides however, were utterly terrible. We asked for the food to be available as soon as they opened. Perhaps the reason why everything else was under cooked. The beans were hard and flavorless. The potatoes in the potato salad were minced to hide the fact that the potatoes were not soft enough to smash. Just when we thought we would at least enjoy some peach cobbler for some sweetness, all we had was canned peaches poured on top of a very raw crust. Might stop in for a sandwich in the future, but I will not use Millers to feed a half dozen people. read more

Brisket is very fatty and I suggest skipping it. Turkey on the other hand: melts in your mouth and goes well on a sandwhich. Chicken looks great too and I will try it next time around. Love Miller's BBQ! Their sandwich specials on Tuesdays (Annaville only) and Saturday are a really good deal- sandwich, chips and a drink for $6.50. If you stay and eat there, it comes with a complimentary ice cream cone :) Love their beans there, cole slaw is a hit and miss, mac n cheese and pasta salad are a NO GO. Every time I come here it's packed. I usually come for lunch. Service is spot on and the food is great. Parking can be rough but usually no issue. I love the half chicken plate. The chicken is moist and cooked perfect. The house BBQ sauce is really good too. For sides try the green beans. This is just a great local spot. We usually come here for a business lunch. As mentioned parking can be tight at lunch. You will definitely see a lot of pickups backed in parking spots. The inside can get packed too. Great BbQ , friendly staff. I had the sausage and brisket Po Boy and it was delicious. The beans are flavored up just right and they have jalapeno and onions on the side that are fresh and tasty. Also at the end of your meal you can get an ice cream cone from the self serve machine. read more

They have a pretty good condiment bar with pickles, onions, jalapenos. Their rolls are very good. I ordered the sausage/brisket plate and it was delicious. December 27th we went into Miller's to get dinner about 4:30 pm. There were 3 employees (girls) on the line & 2 men in the take out section. 1 girl on register, 1 on sides & 1 who was putting chopped beef on top of a potato for the only 2 customers who were at the register. I don't know if they were undecided as to what they wanted, but it was taking a rather long time, and then there was a change or another order for them as well. No one on the line said a word to us as we waited & waited & waited. The girl handling sides would not even make eye contact with us & kept spooning the pinto beans, over & over. The 2 men in the other room never came out, but there were no customers in there. Not 1 person said "Sorry, I'll be with you shortly" or "She'll be with you shortly". Not one person even acknowledged we were standing there. We finally walked out. They all looked, but not 1 person said a word and then my husband saw 2 of the girls started laughing through the glass. This is usually a great place for BBQ with great service, but this day the customer service was completely lacking to the point of being RUDE. I don't know if a phone call to management will do any good, but we are going to try to let them know that their staff was not doing their job. read more

I had purchased 2 plates at Millers BBQ 10305 Leopard St, Corpus Christi, TX 78410 (361) 241-4100 Northwest area. The turkey plate had MOLD I did bring the plate back and received a refund. However, the person who said she was a manger (no name tags on any of the employees) would not admit it was in fact MOLD growing in circular shapes all on the outside of the turkey slices. I was very disappointed with my daughter eating a molded slice, which most likely was sitting in and out of the refrigerator for more than a week to develop that many spores of MOLD. The manager would truly benefit taking Serve Save management classes for a manger license/certification. The green spores on white slices of turkey is a given, as it is clearly identified as mold, no need to use a microscope to figure that out. read more

I am an Austin native and eat at the most highly regarded restaurants on gourmet food networks often, and let me tell you, Miller's blows them all away with quality and service.
