Today I was in Corpus for a movie and heading home to Port Aransas when I spotted this location. No drive through,so I went inside. Wow! The service blew me away. You could tell they were a tight team and when I commented they were some of the best,he assured me they had an excellent manager and everyone wanted a great operation. What a great find in this day and age I left heading back to Port A I was gonna have a nice Q meal in the fridge, ready to hear up. Go!

We ordered beef ribs and baby backs ribs. My beef rib had the best flavor I have ever had! It could have had some more meat on it but the owner and I talked and we both know the butchers these days are cutting them a little to close. Next time I want the brisket because if the rib tasted this good I can't wait for the brisket. Our pork ribs on the other had were extra meaty. Tender and juicy. The atmosphere is just what I like in a classic but comfortable BBQ restaurant. On a hot rainy day, AC is much appreciated... Until my next visit, we look forward to returning.

I ordered two beef rib plates (one with sausage added) and when I got home neither my wife nor I could tear the meat off the bone. There was plenty of fat under the bark, but the meat itself was like shoe leather. There was smoky flavor, but it stayed with the meat that refused to release its grip on the bone. The two plates cost over $50 and it was the worst 50 bucks I've ever spent on food. Absolutely the worst beef ribs I've EVER come across. AVOID THE BEEF RIBS AT SILVERADO. I was surprised when most of my friends and coworkers had never even heard of it, and later, I gleefully showed them pictures of the baby-sized taco I ordered. For $12, you can't go wrong. The looks of awe from the faces of the children at the next table as they brought the foil-wrapped wonder out, were worth it alone. It came with potato, sausage, bacon, brisket, chorizo, egg, and cheese. I finished maybe an eighth of the taco there, and my boyfriend couldn't put down any more than a quarter of it at a time, afterwards. It was good enough to have for nearly every meal between the two of us until it was gone the next day. Portion-wise, it would probably feed four hungry adults with no leftovers. I only wish it would've been more chorizo-heavy, but this is a minor gripe. No-substitutions, otherwise I would have ordered it with more chorizo and potato, and less sausage.
