Not only did Mel inflate the tires for free but he walked us through exactly how to inflate them so that we could do it ourselves in the future (although I would still probably go back to them lol) while doing that, he also noticed that my husband's back brake line was stuck and was able to repair it in under an hour and the price was definitely worth it. It was cool to find out that Mel is also a retired Marine like my own father. While we waited, we walked around the shop and noticed they had a really cool selection of bikes and accessories. But boy oh boy did I step into a twilight zone situation this time around. Going back 3 years I bought a frameset that was delivered to this shop without all the required hardware. No Big deal. Things happen and I get it. They apparently resolved the issue right away by sourcing some screws locally and I was on my way. What no one new at the time is that these screws were made of the wrong material (carbon steel rather than a less corrosive material such as stainless). Well they rusted and seized in place and I could not remove them. So I took it back to the shop this week to get some help and Morgan refused any liability for what happened. He wanted to charge me $80 per hour to correct a issue that THEY created. (he was prepared to give me a $120 bill to remove 4 screws)..Obviously this is way off base. I went back and forth with Morgan to try to help him understand that his position was just outrageous. Obviously he sensed my exasperation and certainly I raised my voice over the phone. I was down right angry. So I engaged with the people at Trek corporate and they immediately understood and agreed that this work should be performed at no cost to me. Very simple. So Morgan's team did the work and I went to pick up my bike. Morgan walked my bike outside with me. I was thinking well Morgan has seen the light and and he is about to apologize...which I would gladly have accepted. That was not his plan. He went on with an attempt to shame me and tell me that they would never work on my bike again and that I was not welcome on the premises. What?... the sentiment aside I would not chose to go back there anyway. Quite unfortunate. That is a brittle spirit and not consistent with what I am used to in the biking community. The audacity is absolutely mind boggling.

If you get help from an employee, they are often knowledgeable and helpful. In my experience, when you first walk in, you're practically accosted by employees offering their assistance. Before you've even had a chance to look at anything. But once you get your ass properly inside the store and you're doing some shopping and comparing, you'd have better luck playing pickup sticks with your butt cheeks than getting the attention of an employee to answer your questions.

Brought my 700 grizzly to have fluids changed, axle boot replaced, and winch installed. Power…read morewashed the quad twice before bringing it to the shop (power washed over after trail riding, power washed a second time to remove dust from quad sitting for 6 months. Made sure all dust/dirt was washed off and areas being worked on were cleaned. I keep this bike in excellent, clean condition. Picked up quad two weeks later to find mud, dirt and rocks built up all throughout the undercarriage, wheel wells and on top of the bike. Areas that I specifically made sure there was ZERO debris, are now filled with lose clotted dirt and rocks. The four wheeler has 16 new miles on the odometer, and the gas tank went from 3/4 filled to nearly empty when I picked it up. The shop owner swears that no one would take my quad off-roading and that the dirt, mud and rocks could've come from "over spray when washing other quads near by". I asked him how golf ball sized rocks and caked mud/dirt can get in the axle areas and underplate by over spray. The odometer reading on their paperwork reads 0 miles in and 0 miles out although I watched him document the mileage when dropping it off. This shop 100% took my quad off roading into deep mud and did a terrible job trying to clean it and hide the evidence. I was actually planning on buying a 2022 hayabusa from this shops showroom until this happened. Potential customers beware of this shop. Terrible attitude from the team the entire experience as well.

I decided to see if a bike shop could make the needed adjustments. TRECK, accommodated to the maximum by immediately repairing upon walking in. I am grateful for the swift repair, as leaving the walker would be a significant fall risk. I am grateful for the kindness and superb service.
