Not only did Mel inflate the tires for free but he walked us through exactly how to inflate them so that we could do it ourselves in the future (although I would still probably go back to them lol) while doing that, he also noticed that my husband's back brake line was stuck and was able to repair it in under an hour and the price was definitely worth it. It was cool to find out that Mel is also a retired Marine like my own father. While we waited, we walked around the shop and noticed they had a really cool selection of bikes and accessories. I don't foresee myself needing to come here a lot but if I ever do decide to become a peddler, I'd definitely frequent this shop! Oh! I noticed they have a $5 a day storage fee if you don't pick your bike up after 5 days...pretty smart because that sign made me pick up ASAP after they called when it probably would have taken me a week or more....because I'm lazy like that.

If you get help from an employee, they are often knowledgeable and helpful. In my experience, when you first walk in, you're practically accosted by employees offering their assistance. Before you've even had a chance to look at anything. But once you get your ass properly inside the store and you're doing some shopping and comparing, you'd have better luck playing pickup sticks with your butt cheeks than getting the attention of an employee to answer your questions.
