The cobbler carefully measured the length they needed to be. These are those belts that are ribbon on a woven background-- the American flag,university colors, etc. He will shorten the belts and hand sew the leather back on. Price Was very reasonable. Will be taking more belts to him to be shortened. Remember: if you are rude and demanding, that's likely what you will receive in return. Politeness is lacking these days. Please, Thank You, You're Welcome, My Pleasure are often missing from requests. You get back what you give! Two other customers came in to pick up repaired item. He was polite to both, although "please and thank you" were missing from their request. His work is the best I've seen. Cobbler shops are often messy due to tools used.
