I am so honored to be this business' first review!!!!…read more Though it took a month to share my experience, I was really loss for words at how much I fell in love with MSincos and the owner, Marcel. My son had a terrible accident on 285 that left his car totaled in May of this year. And, of course, my insurance company low balled the payout for the total loss of the vehicle. I had spent over $4K in rental car fees with Enterprise as I searched feverishly for a replacement car for him but ran into so many shady dealers until Cargurus brought me to MSincos in July. My son and I drove quite a distance to Marcel's car lot and test drove a couple RAV4s. I was really shocked at Marcel's kind and honest demeanor and immediately, I knew this was the place and the person I wanted to do business with. My son liked him too which doesn't come easy (lol). I can't tell you how many texts and phone calls Marcel fielded in trying to help me but it was a lot ! He never changed his approach in dealing with us the way he would want someone to deal with him. Needless to say, I fell in love with this man's heart in the process and consider him a friend. We settled on a 2013 RAV4 XLE that was loaded with all the features my son wanted and one that Marcel just threw in upon request! Marcel gave me a great, no hassle, deal and he has earned a customer for life. I drove the car home in pouring rain and it was such a smooth ride - likely the only time I'll drive it because my son never lets me drive his car even though I paid for it . I still call or text Marcel occasionally just to say hello because I never want to lose touch with him. He's a lovely person and could teach the industry quite a bit of wisdom in creating happy car buying experiences. Never have I been so at ease about a vehicle purchase. Please go see him if you're looking for a car and give him a hug from Alicia . Thank you Marcel - this family adores you and will never forget how you treated us. You're family now

Extremely Disappointing and Unprofessional Experience…read more My experience at Stone Mountain Volkswagen was unacceptable and unprofessional from start to finish. My initial interaction was with a sales representative named David, whose communication style was condescending and dismissive. During our conversation, he told me I should "stay in my lane" because I do not work in finance. That comment was not only inappropriate, it was uninformed. I had to explain that I hold an MBA, previously worked in banking for 12 years, and currently work for a company that provides business accounting software. His tone and remarks reflected poor customer service and a lack of basic respect. I left the dealership due to this interaction. Afterward, I was contacted by the Sales Manager, Brandon, who apologized and asked me to return so they could "make it right." I agreed and returned with my boyfriend. We were then seated with Ishmael, who handled negotiations professionally. We clearly stated that if the deal could be finalized at $46,500 out the door, we would move forward immediately. Ishmael took the offer to Brandon, who initially agreed to the terms. However, that agreement was retracted once Brandon learned I would be using my credit union. At that point, Brandon stated the dealership would only honor a higher price ($46,900) if I used their preferred lender, whose APR was significantly higher than my credit union's. This practice raises serious concerns. Under Georgia consumer protection and auto sales laws, buyers have the right to: *Use their own lender or credit union *Receive transparent pricing *Avoid tied selling, where pricing is contingent on using a specific financing source *Be free from bait-and-switch tactics or deceptive trade practices Conditioning a negotiated price on the use of a higher-interest, dealer preferred lender is ethically questionable and potentially violates Georgia's Fair Business Practices Act, which prohibits unfair or deceptive acts in consumer transactions. This dealership had multiple opportunities to correct the situation and failed. The apology did not align with the actions that followed. I would strongly caution other buyers to: *Get all pricing in writing *Be prepared for pressure around financing *Know your rights under Georgia auto sales laws Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Stone Mountain Volkswagen. Respect, transparency, and ethical dealings were clearly lacking.

I'd give them zero stars if I could---DISHONEST!…read more We had been having issues with our Honda pilot that we thought was recall related so we had taken it to Gwinnett Place Honda for a diagnosis. Battery check came back "good" but problem was not solved. (Battery is about a year old for context) -So we took it for a 2nd opinion at Stone Mountain Honda. Battery check came back "bad" and we were charged a $200 diagnostic fee. Told to replace it, etc. Spoke with Adrian who was defensive and abrupt to both my husband and I. -I wasn't comfortable paying $200 for a battery diagnostic fee considering it had just checked out at another dealer and I found it very suspect. I went to have it checked at AutoZone for a battery check there immediately right after. The AutoZone gentleman helping me was very informative and gave me a printout showing there was nothing wrong with my battery and it was "Good" He also shared with me that "at least ONCE a week he has a customer come over that has been to Stone Mountain Honda with a "bad battery diagnosis" and comes to find out there's nothing wrong with their battery when they do the report there at Autozone. We won't ever go back to Stone Mountain Honda again and would caution anyone needing dealer appropriate service to look elsewhere.

Not even a week later, the engine completely gave out. After taking it to a trusted mechanic, I was told the motor was in terrible shape and should have never been sold in that condition--especially not at the price I paid. The dealership clearly either didn't inspect the vehicle at all or worse--they knew and sold it anyway. When I contacted them to resolve the issue, they were completely unhelpful, rude, and unwilling to take any responsibility. It's obvious they only care about making a quick sale, not about being honest or doing right by their customers. I feel completely ripped off and misled. Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy being lied to and stuck with a worthless vehicle. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy.
