The repairs and items that needed to be addressed were all completed, and well done. The last one had a puzzling line item "115 BG MOA" billed for $17.50. I telephoned my service advisor to see what was up. This is a BG brand Motor Oil Additive, part number 115. The shop calls it a motor oil "fortifier. " Apparently all oil changes now get this additive, at Carey Paul. I get high-quality Honda-branded synthetic motor oil. I don't know why I need a "fortifier." It gets worse. I checked my owner's manual. Page 408: "Your vehicle does not require oil additives. In fact, they may adversely affect the engine performance and durability" The reason I have my new Honda serviced at an authorized Honda dealer is to give it the best care. Factory trained technicians, Honda-approved parts, etc. So I wonder why is this dealership doing something Honda specifically does not recommend (actually cautions against)? I sent a letter to the service manager three weeks ago with this very question but have received no answer. I asked the service manager to allow the customer to opt-in for this additional service, if they want it. I was not given that option. So if you want your Honda maintained to specifications given by Honda Motor Corporation, avoid this dealership.

My son had a terrible accident on 285 that left his car totaled in May of this year. And, of course, my insurance company low balled the payout for the total loss of the vehicle. I had spent over $4K in rental car fees with Enterprise as I searched feverishly for a replacement car for him but ran into so many shady dealers until Cargurus brought me to MSincos in July. My son and I drove quite a distance to Marcel's car lot and test drove a couple RAV4s. I was really shocked at Marcel's kind and honest demeanor and immediately, I knew this was the place and the person I wanted to do business with. My son liked him too which doesn't come easy (lol). I can't tell you how many texts and phone calls Marcel fielded in trying to help me but it was a lot ! He never changed his approach in dealing with us the way he would want someone to deal with him.
