love the menu options..tastes amazing! horchata flavor is my favorite! Adding the menu from the new location on Saviers to have as a reference.

    thai tea "blended"

me, my fiancée and family are definitely regulars at this shop, and we've never been disappointed until now :( when we walked in they were mopping the floors around customers waiting for their drinks. we had been browsing the menu when the employee told us to move to a different part of the store because they were cleaning... we didn't mind moving but they were a little snippy about it, and i've never worked or gone anywhere that mops floors in the middle of business hours, especially one as small as this one. so that was already uncomfortable for us. when we ordered everything was fine for the most part but when we received our order, it just didn't meet standards. this is just one of the drinks we received, a BLENDED tea but the tea and "blended" part, that was 80% foam, are completely separated, the tea tasted bland and watered down, like they didn't put enough of some ingredient and it fell completely short. we were shocked this was handed to us and left unhappy. we noticed the staff that usually serves us were not in today and it was definitely disappointing because those girls always know how to make a good drink!!! for 20 dollars plus tip we expected better.

Too Much sweetness... I don't like it... sugar overload!! Pls... improve the taste and make the percentage of sweetness !!! Don't put too much sugar

Ok ....1st time here. I ordered the honeydew boba and they never asked how I wanted my drink so they gave it to me like slushie. Maybe it's all the other Boba places I have been to and was expecting more. The drink was not bad but i think for my experience it was the service that threw me off. Usually places ask you what size, over ice, how sweet you want it, extra boba.... but nothing else asked and even though it was not busy (only us) it took so long to get our drinks. (2 drinks). The flavor of the honeydew was ok. The boba was a bit hard not as chewy.

    Tiny boba

I am not a fan of how they changed their boba size, now they became tiny, It was perfect how it was before. As costumer service, You feel really unwelcome and rushed to your order boba.

Love Bigstraw Boba! There fruit smoothies are always delicious. My son loves this place too, Awesome customer service from the staff. Parking can be kind of tight during busy hours but plenty of parking.

I've been to the other Bigstraw branch on Oxnard Blvd., and although the boba here is on par with the other location, I won't be back because of the location (my family and I were stalked by a guy on his bike while walking through Centerpoint Mall, and then by one of his friends who walked inside Bigstraw a minute after we did, but I digress). I've tried the Strawberry Peach, Soursop, and the Honeydew flavors. The slushy-like texture is still odd to me, but it's certainly refreshing. Each drink captured the actual flavor we ordered and none of them were overly sweet. The boba was overcooked like the other branch, but perhaps other customers prefer it that way. It took awhile to get our drinks since there was only two people working when I was here, but the owner was friendly and did her best to keep up with everyone walking in.

This place is ridiculous! I can never visit SoCal without a stop to this place. Their boba is consistently perfect. Never had a ball that was hard in the middle, just perfectly squishy throughout, but not too gummy. I ALWAYS get the Taro. It tastes so fresh. Good thing I have a big family so that I can sample the rest of them as well. Our favorites include: Tropical Blend (Mix of different tropical flavors... sooooo good), cantaloupe, honeydew and pineapple.

Vanilla hazelnut isn't too bad! #bigstrawboba

Cute little shop! It's small, but I love the decor and the huge menu posted on the left hand side made it pretty easy to order. SO MANY choices though! I took the recommendations of a few Yelpers and tried the Vanilla Hazelnut and it was super yummy. The girl behind the counter was friendly and checked with me when I told her "easy boba" to make sure that I had a good amount that I was pleased with. I'll be back to try more flavors for sure. Thanks!

This former house, now a lovely business, offers plenty of room to relax with a delightful beverage, some engaging conversation, and a bit of gift shop gazing. Hungry? No problem! The accommodating staff will let you know what they recommend for a quick bite, or a satisfying meal. Plenty of locals were here on the day we popped in, working on laptops, discussing presentations/proposals, and enjoying a book with their mocha, cozied up in a comfy chair. We were looking for a quick, easy bite and some caffeine before we moved to our next location. Splitting a ham & cheese on fresh sourdough, then each getting a bevvie(he likes a cup o' Joe in the afternoon, but I had a delicious spiced Chai with whole milk) was a perfect little snack to keep us revved up. What a lovely way to chill out, or be productive! Parking is free on the street, and also in a lot on the opposite side the square. I love that they also support other local, small businesses and artists with some of the items they have for sale. I couldn't resist a bag of kettle corn for just $6 and then read the label that it was produced in a fully licensed local, private kitchen. Lic and expiration date, as well as ingredients and location of manufacturer were clearly stated on the packaging, making me feel real comfortable about my purchase and support of local businesses. How cool to have a business that provides space for other, even smaller businesses! I already was thinking about the friends I was eager to share this great little spot with, in hopes they too will enjoy and return with their friends. And so on, and so on, and so on! Cheers! "CC"

And let me tell you, when you're heading to an island for kayaking and hiking, securing food starts to feel less like lunch planning and more like wilderness survival strategy. The online ordering process, though, gave my husband a minor technological character-building experience. Not especially intuitive or user friendly. Then, on the morning of the trip, we weren't entirely sure where the lunches would actually appear. Tiny scavenger hunt energy. Thankfully, they were waiting for us at the ferry office, and we both immediately took the same relieved breath: "Excellent. We shall not perish on the island." The sandwiches themselves were genuinely delicious. I had the Caprese, my husband had the turkey baguette, and both were fresh, flavorful, and substantial enough to fuel actual adventure instead of just delaying hunger by 20 minutes. Each lunch box also came with chips, Fuji water, and a chocolate chip cookie that quietly stole the show. Soft, delicious, and exactly the kind of reward you want after hauling yourself around an island pretending you're far more athletic than you really are. By the time lunch was over, I was happy, full, and fully prepared for the next round of kayaking and hiking. Which is really the highest compliment an adventure lunch can get.

I tried a couple different drinks (and a dessert) so I could give an honest review, and everything was amazing. I ordered my usual, a sugar-free vanilla oat latte with cold foam, and it was perfect--from the espresso to the cold foam on top. I also asked for a recommendation, and the barista suggested their Biscoff coffee. That one absolutely blew me away! They even added pieces of Biscoff cookie on top, and I instantly fell in love with it. For dessert, we tried their mango sago. I honestly don't even know everything that was in it, but wow--it was so good. I could've easily eaten the whole cup myself The only thing I wish they had is a few food options, because I'm sure they'd be just as great. Their location can vary since they pop up in different spots, so I recommend checking their Instagram before going. The line was long, but honestly that's expected when the drinks are this good--so just be prepared. I'll definitely be coming back to try more flavors!

Everyone knows of their sister business Smokin Jays but I am here to spread the word on their AM morning breakfast bites and coffee shop. The vibes here are always immaculate. Stepping inside they are always playing the best tunes (a little throwback Post Malone on the speakers at 9am to be exact) and a crew behind the counter that genuinely seems like best friends. The jokes and laughter flying around make this spot feel fun, welcoming, and real. The staffs positive attitudes are contagious, that's for sure. Now let's get into the good stuff....what did I order?: SAUSAGE & BACON BREAKFAST CROISSANT Low key one of the most slept on breakfast sandwiches in the 805. Candied bacon, juicy sausage patty, perfectly cooked egg, melty cheese on a warm buttery croissant. Absolute perfection. 10/10. GET THIS! Pro tip: grab the side of hash browns. The gooey cheese from the sandwich inevitably falls onto those crispy bites and suddenly you're in full food coma heaven. ICED MATCHA W/ STRAWBERRY COLD FOAM If you're a matcha lover, this one hits and it's a bit sweet (no complaints here). It's just good! They've got the brightest pink cold foam in the game, super refreshing, and just really well done. Is it ceremonial grade? I don't think so but sometimes a good matcha with fun foam is just what you needed regardless. WATERMELON MINT REFRESHER Not a coffee person? Their fruit refreshers are dangerously good. The watermelon mint is crisp, will cool you down, and super refreshing (hence the name). Tasty breakfast bites, solid drinks, and a badass crew. They suggested the Butter Beer Latte and the Cookie Ice Latte, so of course I grabbed both... and I couldn't leave without my favorite, a sugar-free vanilla oat latte. Every drink was flavorful and unique, but honestly my regular was AMAZING--so creamy and perfect. I'd go back just for that any day! And then... we saw they had beignets How could I say no?! 100/10.
