A coworker recommended Bigs to us. We came for lunch on a Friday around noon. As advertised, it has the sports bar vibe. Lots of big screens, a full bar to the right as you enter, and mostly high tables and metal stools, some with low backs, some higher, some with no backs at all. There are also some nice high booths next to the bar. My wife and I were greeted by a friendly young woman who told us to choose our seats. After sitting on some metal stools that left my wife feeling like she was slipping off, we moved to another table with more comfortable stools. The menu offers a variety of appetizers, entrees, and even desserts, including salads, sandwiches, burgers, and steak. I didn't check out the desserts. They have craft beer, which I love, though I abstained that day. My wife chose the sliders and the potstickers. I ordered the seared ahi and quinoa salad. They give you a lot of food. Our young server took our order without writing anything down, a nice feat if you can pull it off. Alas, she could not. She forgot the potstickers. However, we were not that disappointed because of how big the portions were. My wife even brought home leftovers. Otherwise, the food was yummy and the service friendly. Went in with 3 of my friends last night. Friends 1&2 ordered their food. Friend 3 ordered their food too. Then there's me. I order my food as well. 20 minutes go by, friends 1 and 2 get their food. I saw her go to every other table at least twice after walking by us a few times, or staying by the bar for drink orders. Then after 40 minutes STILL DONT HAVE MY FOOD. My friends ordered a platter and wings. All I ordered were tatertots. She comes by and I ask her to check on the order cause it's been a while, she does, then I don't see her for another 10-15 minutes after that. I tell her AGAIN, my food has not come out. They were very accommodating, patient, organized, and all of the staff stepped in to help our server, Jessica who was very friendly and on top of it. My friends and I went to watch the Dodger World Series game on 11/1. Even though the restaurant was packed the service was good! i ordered the prime rib dip and it was super dry. Now the reason I'm putting such a low stars on this establishment is due to how management handled my credit card. Originally I handed my credit card over per their request at beginning of our order. By the end of the game, my friend ended up paying our meals. I was hyped up when Dodgers won and I left without my credit card. The following day (Sunday) I show up to pick it up. Management said their office was locked and they could not locate my credi card. They even said they called the server I had and she wasn't responding. I left my information with management (Josh) and his next shift was Tuesday and he said he'd call me. I called Monday morning and they said the same thing, they didn't have my card and that they have my information and they'd call me. I took it upon myself and cancelled my card and got a new one. Till this day, 11 days later I have yet to get one phone call back from this establishment regarding my credit card. Please be wary of this place!! With all the dodgers excitement, my husband and his uncle decided to stop here for dinner and to watch the game. To their surprise, the service was absolutely horrid as the waitress called them "boring" for not ordering more drinks and made them leave prematurely. Second visit here and I'm upset with the result of it. Service was good. Food was decent. Our server took care of us and gave us refills or whatever else we needed. Disappeared for 20 min when we were trying to leave and when we finally got her attention I asked for the bill which took another 10 min and when we finally got it, I only got the receipts that show the charge and not the itemized receipt. The receipt already showed a tip on the final charge...why is the server auto adding the gratuity on my bill? The party next to us overheard what we were talking about and they were saying that happened to them as well. Again, why is the server automatically putting an 18% gratuity on our bill and not even bringing me an itemized receipt to see the charges? I have no issue with tipping or auto gratuity on parties of 6 or more, which a lot of restaurants do, but auto gratuity on a party of 2? With the min gratuity being 18%. That kind of rubs me the wrong way. The other party asked to have that removed so they can put what they want on the bill, but that took another 10 min which I didn't want to wait around for. Came here a few times and was let down each time. The most recent took the cake though. I went in with a few friends on a Tuesday night just so it wouldn't be so busy and we could hang out. We ordered a round of drinks and the instantly noticed the bartender was drunk. She didn't know what alcohol they had nor did she know how to make any of our drinks. They ended up telling us that we had to buy the shots since she poured them or we had to get out and be banned from coming back!!! We explained what happened and said it wasn't our fault at all and we just wanted 2 shots of casamigos, he ended up taking everyone's beer and getting security. We told him we didn't want a problem though so we ended up paying $80 for 2 shots :((( we told them to just keep them since none of us wanted them. The security stood next to us for the rest of the night and would yell at us when we would get up or walk over to the bar to get another drink at all.
