Not amazing or anything special but overall I'd say we had a good experience. We sat near the bar. Ordered drinks and entrees. We were happy with our food. Large portions. Fifa isn't a special event as a waitress lied and said it is and even if you are 1 or 2 person check they are adding 18% gratuities on your bill hoping you don't read your check and add more and when asked the waitress said it's because we are working so hard and have to share out tips so management told us to add gratuities to each bill...your a waitress not a doctor how hard is your job and if your a good waitress people will tip you well. When you add tip to a credit card you get taxed more than if you get a cash tip are you that dumb not to realize that maybe thats why your a waitress in a bar go to college down the street and learn some business smarts! Waitress also lied and said that the gratuities add to check was on Instagram but guess what it doesn't sayvit anywhere they are adding it to your check they are just sliding it on. The service was awful and the female bartender was extremely hostile and rude even when I was being unnecessarily kind with my manners. She ended up kicking us out for being loud on karaoke night?!?! The manager said that the waitress felt we didn't seem to be in control of having anymore drinks and we explained that we hadn't had a drink in the last 2 hours. Last night we ordered jalapeño poppers (2 out of 5 stars- definitely frozen) we both ordered 2 big beers -805 & blood orange Hefe- cold beer always wins! What sold us on coming back again were our burgers & sandwiches, we didn't know they were so tasty! My boyfriend ordered a bacon cheeseburger & I got the grilled chicken sandwich. They both came with generous amounts of seasoned fries & tater tots. The sandwich was really delicious I got it dry with a side of bbq sauce- the bbq sauce came warm which was a nice surprise because most times restaurants serve cold sauce. It had bacon & avocado too! The burger was juicy & it was huge! It had big chunks of grilled onions & bacon as well- the burger stole the show! Wow...A++++ all the way! My husband and I booked our retirement party here and it was phenomenal. From the booking and planning with Courtney, to the party itself. My husband and I have been coming here for over 5 years, and our experience has only gotten better since we started sitting at the bar. Madison is a fantastic bartender--her excellent service, sense of humor, and vibrant personality are a big reason why we keep coming back. She truly makes us feel welcome every time. Horrible experience during fight night! Tables are reserved for groups of at least 4 people since we were still waiting for the rest of the group went to sit outside in the patio to wait for our group. However, a group of older gentleman smoking all kinds of things that it was very uncomfortable to be outside since one of the girls is pregnant. The only reason will comeback to this place is for the waitress that was nice and friendly serving the patio. I am a huge fan of Bigs and have been coming here for several years as an after work gathering spot to hang out. They have a large and varied menu and several great specials each day of the week such as Build your own burger Mondays and Wing Wednesdays both of which are amazing as well as daily drink specials. The place itself is quite large with a fairly open layout, lots of high top tables, a few booths, dart boards, pool table and may screens to enjoy your favorite games. The service here can be hit or miss but is typically very good. The food portions are large and the quality for the price is hard to beat and I have never not been satisfied with my choice. They also have a large array of taps with beer, ciders and seltzers as well as full bar offerings. My go to is a refreshing Ace Pineapple or Pear cider and the amazing wings (so many flavors to choose from) or the amazing chicken tacos or build your own burger. The sides (fries, tots etc...) are huge and definitely enough to share with a buddy or two. I definitely recommend checking them out if in the area. They get a lot of regulars and its always a good time. I look forward to coming here many more times to come. read more

Watch every, and I mean every sporting event here. They even show UFC as well as Boxing events that nobody else will show. They play the commentator audio loud and clear. No cover charge! Huge place with lots of TVs everywhere. Large variety of beers on tap including several wheat beers that I like. Service was great! We went on Wednesday Wing night which was a great deal. It was our first time there, but it seemed like they have daily specials M-Th at least. I came here with a group late at night. Lots of TVs for whatever sport you're watching. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I ordered the pizza tots. I'm surprised I've never heard of something like that before. I didn't know what to expect. It's basically replace the dough of a pizza with tater tots and it was cool to try. Shareable portion. Bigs is decent bar walking distance from Cal State Fullerton. Not really sure what to call this place. It's like divey but also has loud music playing for dancing. Us students would rather spend our time in Downtown Fullerton. This place is memorable because I had my 21st birthday celebration here and drank here after my graduation photos. They have plenty of seating inside and outside for significant sporting events (UFC fights). You have to pay a $5 entry fee for UFC fights. Most of their food is fried, making your stomach a little queasy afterward. When I go with a bunch of friends, we munch on their sampler platter ($27). This place has a great college sports bar theme. They have food and drinks. I am giving one star because the women who work here do not check on you or make sure your drinks are filled throughout your stay. We went for St. Patrick's day and the woman gave us the worst service. She did not deserve any tip which I did not leave. Therefore she added 20 dollars to the bill. I went back a couple times to complain about this and there was never any manager to help me. I'm pretty sure they have this place very set up to not deal with anything like this and everyone covers everything even if it's unfair. I guess having fun isn't allowed... playing pool you have to be quiet as a mouse. The ONE time we cheered for our friend for winning a pool game we were told to be quiet and leave. There was barely any people so I just don't get it. Don't wanna get "political" or racial but I wanna say it was because of that, there was no reason for us to get kicked out... also mind you it was 1:30 already so it was literally the last few minutes and we were gonna leave, but the second we closed our tab they were on our ass. They just want the money and for us to leave which I get but y'all could have done it a whole lot differently where it wasn't "racist" or that obvious to the point where we felt profiled...
