I would have given them a 5 star if not for the following reason. I am a repeat customer. I first started using them when the owner was a young man working with 3 guys about 3 years ago. I also referred 2 customers to them. They always do a good job on cleaning my windows. John and Jack (or Zack) cleaned my window this Tuesday. I talked with both of these 2 young man that I had emailed, and also talked with their office staff Ann several times to ask for pressure washing service to my property in San Marino. That was 3 weeks ago and 2 emails and 2 phone calls later. They assured me they would call this in right away and have someone call me. Now is Friday and I have not received any phone call. I am going to get another outfit to pressure wash the walkway since they don't care about my business. I will also look for another window cleaning service for my annual window washing. read more

We contacted Jack from Big Wave Window to wash the interior, exterior and screens on our wood casement windows. In addition to the windows on the house, the two young men lifted and maneuvered the huge, very heavy skylight in our hallway so it could be washed on both sides. We have a lot of windows and Jack's quote was fairly priced. He and Brent arrived on time and completed the job thoroughly and neatly. My windows were sparkling clean and the sills and screens were dust free. At the end of the day, my house was smiling and so was I. These guys are really good. The price was very competitive (I got three bids). The were very careful with brand new landscaping and took great care in the house as well. Of course the windows were perfectly cleaned, and they eliminated some tough water spots on the outside. Beyond being good window washers they were very meticulous in the house as they washed the sills and moved about from room to room careful to cover their shoes and protect floors and rugs. I highly recommend Big Wave. They will now be my regularly scheduled window washers. Update.... This is my second time using Big Wave. As last time, the windows are immaculate, tough water stains off, sills and surrounding areas cleared of cobwebs. The price is very fair and they are reliable. I had my windows cleaned on Aug. 4, 2022. Jack came out to give me a quote. He was professional and when another young man came to clean, he advised me by text that he was on his way, so up to this point, very good. Kept me informed which is always good. Then it went downhill when the cleaning was done. As someone else said, Big Window has slick wording and advertising but they really aren't specific as far as details on what will be done to clean your windows. I had a window cleaner several years ago and 3-4 guys came out and did a fabulous job. So I was surprised when 1 fella came to do the job. We have a large home with many windows. Jack had told me the cleaner would be at our house most of the day, but he worked for 3-1/2 hours. Not nearly long enough to do a good job. I thought he would wash the screens, if not with soap and water, then with a wet rag. He used a dry rag which doesn't clean them very well at all. Many of the knobs to turn the windows open were not replaced. He barely cleaned the inside wells and we still have much debris and leaves between the windows and the screens. He had a water thing around his waist to put squeegee in and I had to ask him to change the water. It was black and he dripped on several places with black water on our light beige carpeting, which I'm still trying to get out. I feel that the owner, Jack, needs to provide more training. The window washers should have a dropcloth in the truck and use it when needed, and, also, a brush and or a dustbuster to clean the outside (between the screen and window). Lastly, I asked the young man to wear a mask inside and he refused, which should have been a dealbreaker for me but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Lastly, when I called to tell Jack the outcome and left a message asking him to return my calls, I did not get any calls back from him. Needless, to say, we are quite disappointed in the job done and will not be using Big Wave Window again. read more
