When they first came over to give an estimate, Eric (the owner) guided us (the roofing impaired people) on the intricacies of roofing and the differences between a "good" roof and a "bad" roof. He made recommendations on what would suit our needs (essentially how he'd do his own roof - if in our shoes). Came back with the proposal the next day and the bid simply could not be beat (he encouraged us to look around). When it was time to construct, he explained every process thoughtfully (and patiently) from start to finish. He explained each individual component and why it was chosen for our application. The man has passion! Every day when the work day ended, the crew always cleaned up and made sure things were nice and tidy (this is after a LONG day working) before leaving. My brother in Christ, if you have time to be at the gym then you aren't working harder than us "lazy pajama-wearers". You're just not. You don't know what you're talking about. Get over yourself. Answers questions like "What would you charge to do X?" with a terse "No." Generally unhelpful and abrasive at every step. You can just imagine what it'd be like to deal with him if he made a mistake and you had to hold him accountable for it. Anyway he eventually gives me the "I don't like you" price for the job, about double what others were offering. Obviously I hired someone else.
