Helped me keep my old home built gaming PC going a bit longer by helping me bypass the TPM module requirement for the Windows 11 upgrade. Will recommend him to everyone I can & will definitely come back in the near future for help with cleaning and upgrades.

Stopped in during the evening to ask a few questions about our accounts. I have my own account and…read moremy husband has one as well, but for some reason they're partially connected and partially not, which honestly didn't make much sense. We were hoping to get some clarity in store without having to call the bank, but ultimately were told the bank is where we'll need to sort it out and officially merge the accounts. That aside, the store itself was clean, bright, and well organized. Most of the store appeared well stocked with a wide variety of products. One thing that stood out was the Meta glasses display...they had an entire wall with different styles to choose from. The LEGO section was decent, not huge, but still around 10-15 different sets available. The computer section was solid; all units were powered on and there was a good range of options, from budget friendly laptops to higher end models with all the bells and whistles. One small disappointment was the car audio section. The selection was very limited, only one radio faceplate and just a handful of speakers to choose from. Customer service, however, was great. In every department we walked through, an employee checked in to see if we needed help, which we really appreciated.

Drove 30mins across town to get a stove. And this was the only location that had it in stock. Which is fine. But when I went to pay. They asked if I wanted to buythe Best Buy Total protection. I respectfully declined and said no thank you. Don't want anything additional. Paid for product. They told me my total. Went outside. Loaded up and headed home. When i got home. Took the receipt and put it into my filing cabinet. Then noticed they added a $1 fee (donation) to the Best Buy Foundation teen tech. Now I don't mind donating that $1. I do donations every year during the holidays from clothes to food to gift cards and also forth. But what pisses me off is that they DID NOT ASK to add it and snuck it in. From what I was told by legal console friends is that adding unauthorized items to a bill is illegal and can be considered fraud or misrepresentation. I even double checked with my wife as we both was with the cashier in the appliance section if the 2 people there asked. And she said no. Take it as you will. Just wanted to make sure during the holidays this doesn't happen to others. It was $1 for me but who knows it could be more than that for others without the customers consent

My iPhone 13 Pro died on the last day of a two-week vacation. It sucked losing my phone, but what I…read morewas more concerned about the photos I lost. My phone stopped backing up to iCloud about 1 week into the vacation (even though I had it been connected to power and wi-fi every night). I suspected the phone had water damage. I took it to the Apple Store and explained that my main concern was recovering my photos. They did a quick diagnostic and could not get a response from the phone. The Apple Store said that they cannot repair water damage and would need to replace the logic board which would mean I would lose all the data and that it would cost about half the price of a new phone. They referred me to a data recovery business that everyone online says charges exorbitant fees, likely thousands of dollars. I decided to give GadgetMates a try as their website lists water damage and iPhone data recovery among their services. I brought my phone to them late on a Friday afternoon and they said they would diagnose it and get back to me. I expected to hear back Monday with some bad news, but was surprised when they called me back an hour or two later saying the phone just needs a new screen, power port, and proximity flex cable and the cost would be about half of what the Apple Store quoted. Most importantly, the logic board was intact. I swung by their store to enter my pin while they had it hooked up to a new screen so I could confirm the photos were all there. They were able to fix it that same day while I waited in their shop playing some arcade games. I highly recommend GadgetMates for any phone issues and wouldn't hesitate to use them again should the need arise.

I loved it here!! Luckily it wasn't too busy. I went in for a quick quote (based off what I THOUGHT…read moreI needed) and they accept walk ins! By the time I rushed home to pick up my computer and dropped it off, there were already a couple people who dropped off their PCs. My price ended up being much less than the quote because my fix was so simple and so fast! I got my computer back the next day. (I low key also thought there was a possibility of a virus, but luckily that wasn't the case). The service here is top tier and I'm so happy to have my computer back! I should note that I pay annually for the place I purchased my computer to fix it and I went out of my way to come here, so it's definitely worth it. Just to mention my issue, my computer wouldn't shut off completely when I would shut it off. Like it would look like it was off but my tower lights would still be on as well as my fans. Then it would randomly just shut off in the middle of gaming. And then it wouldn't turn back on unless I completely shut the power off. So I'm happy it's fixed before more damage could be done. He also taught me a little about my computer as well which was very helpful.

The camera were out of power in just 10 days. I called the installer Bryant and he texted me and told me to call his supervisor Theresa. I called her, texted her, no response at all.. and I called her and texted her again and again--she never responded. It has been three weeks and still no response from her. Buyers Be AWARE-- BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE-- NOT ACCEPTABLE!

At home I tried to restore it myself based on the recommendations of Apple and then some more of just my own software experience. I could not get it to work. I tried basic restore and even the DFU restore. I came in with my tablet in DFU mode so it was easier for them. I told the person who took my iPad and she said okay. It should take about 20 min or so. Ok no problem they have my information if they needed to contact me. I went to go out gas in my car and came back. I was in my car since waiting. I go in at 25 min just incase. Another person come out and tells me my tablet won't the on it's not working at all plugged it in etc. I'm like did u remove it from dfu mode? She like what is that. And she hand me the tablet saying they couldn't do anything. I get my tablet and remove dfu mode. Easy. She's like ohhhh so weird we tried it and didn't work I even had other try it. Red flag right there. How can u be in this job position and not be qualified. I only came here instead of Apple because this is closer since there is no Apple Store on this side of town and Apple recognized u as an approved third party option to take Apple products to. Anyways that's was like 30 min wasted. I wait again 30 min no updates. Nothing. I'm there sitting. Waiting. I approach them they said it's still restoring. 30 min restoring? I waited more. Longer than I should have. They never come out to give u an update. I asked again hey what's going on. She said it's still restoring. She offered I could stop restoring now and give me iPad if I had to go. You had almost 2 hours. What do u mean. I told them I would leave. At the end she just handed it to me and she was saying sorry and was walking away. Nothing. Nothing about the attempts they made or which ones. I asked hey so what did u guys do so I can tell Apple when I take it. And she's like well we couldn't finish the restore because u had to leave. And I told her I was here a long time. She then said well we had to do a restore for another customer and then you but I was the first one so I was upset. And all those time she was telling me it's restoring it really wasn't. Wth. Just be honest and communicate. Like why lie and not call customer or talk to them if something is off. Best Buy should not be an authorized 3rd party that does trouble shooting. They do not know what to do. They will hire someone that is not qualified or have the right training. Do not go here for Apple products.
