Ended up with 2 pairs of shoes even though I didn't plan to get any. Before you enter, the clearance table outside has a good selection of shoes. I was able to grab a pair of Saucony endorphins for 50% off. Inside they have a great selection of different brand shoes, gear, nutrition, etc. I came in knowing I needed a stabilty shoe, and Billy showed me every brand's offering of stability shoes, and helped compare the pros and cons of each. I settled on the Hoka Arahi's. The best part was he gave me a 20% off discount since a new model just came in. The return policy is super flexible, you can trade in for store credit if you're not satisfied, even clearance ones. Will definitely be my local go to running store. Javaree G. and Stephanie S. gave excellent customer service when I first visited BUT today was different. There were 3 people working. Two of them didn't look friendly at all and I'm so glad Javaree was there to help me. I bought the Bondi 8 but it was really uncomfortable and very tight around my heels and toes. Just not a good feel, ya know? And I walk and stand for a long time at my work place. I got to have comfortable shoes. I exchanged my Bondi 8 for a Arahi 6. The color is "meh". I was hoping to get either a bright pink with black but they didn't have any. This will have to do for now. I hope I get to see Javaree and Stephanie the next time I want to buy new shoes. Also, the Arahi 6 doesn't look new at all. They look like they've been worn several times. I've worn my Bondi 8 for 2 days and tried my best to keep it clean. Women's Bondi 8 Cherries Jubilee Pink/Yarrow (size 5.5) $164.99 I should've taken a picture but I forgot. The sizes are weird. Normal shoes from other brands... I'm a size 5. I went to Big Peach out of curiosity about what they would recommend for my feet, my bad knee, etc. Ashley was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. They took the time to properly measure my foot and brought out several options. In the end, I stuck with my preferred brand, but learned a lot. I will definitely be a repeat customer. My family and I stopped by to buy myself some new shoes for our upcoming trip to Japan. When we entered Silas was ready with a smile to help us. I told Silas I needed shoes for walking/standing and he was quick to bring me to a machine to check my shoe size and find overall foot issues. After the scan he brought out several different types of shoes for me. He was patient in getting me new shoes based off what I liked or didn't like. That alone was exceptional, but to make it more complicated my mother and sister quickly got interested and asked for their own style of shoes to be brought. Silas somehow kept all of our requests straight and was very helpful. We spent upwards of an hour and he was wonderful the entire time. He was friendly and very informed on the shoes. My entire family of 4 left with perfect shoes. He made the hour fly by and was a wonderful employee. His personality along with his knowledge on shoes left a lasting impression on me. They really put an emphasis on customer service at BPR. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by both sales associates working, who also happened to be helping other customers at the time. When it was my turn to be helped, the salesperson went through all my options and had me try on several pairs of shoes she was recommending. The whole experience was top notch and exactly what I was looking for! Ended up walking out with a pair of super comfortable running shoes that should solve some of the pain I was feeling when running long distances. They have a very generous return policy here too, if you don't like what you bought, bring them back in to trade for a different pair of shoes! read more

I'm a travel nurse, recently relocated to Suwanee town center area. I was walking my dog, and saw Big Peach. I cracked the door a bit and asked if they sold Hokas. They said yes, and I told them I would come back when I didn't have my dog with me. There was nobody else there, so they said no, just come in, it's fine. They didn't have the color I wanted, but ordered me some. It was a very easy process, and I could tell the employees enjoyed their job and were knowledgeable. I didn't even realize what time it was, and they actually were about to close right as I walked in. an lot of places would just say, sorry we are closed, but they still helped me with a smile. I did have a little mix up on about when the shoes would arrive from the other store. I called on Monday (when I thought they would come in,) and they said they would be there on Tuesday. I said fine. I wasn't upset at all, since I could have heard wrong, even if I didn't , mistakes happen. I called them back a few minutes later to see if I could just pick up myself from the Alpharetta store when I realized I was working 4x13 hr shifts back to back, and wouldn't be able to come in for a while to pick up and my feet are dying for some good work shoes. They said yes, you can pick them up there, and were very apologetic (though they didn't need to be, mix ups happen). Two minutes later, they called me back, and said they would get the shoes for me Monday at the Suwanee location. Pretty sure somebody from one of the stores either picked them up or drove them here for me. I use to be a branch manager at a rental car company that focused on going above and beyond. The fact that they went above and beyond to get me the shoes meant a lot to me. It shows they care a lot about their customer service and their customers. Also love that it's a local company. I visited Big Peach Running Company because I was going on a year running with Adidas shoes that I picked up for a discounted price at Nordstrom Rack. I was long overdue for properly fitting running shoes. Upon walking in, I was approached by Kristen, who immediately led me to a station with a foot sensor type thing and a treadmill. She had me stand on the foot sensor to determine my arch -- did I have a low arch or high arch, or was I somewhere in between? She determined, based on the image that came up, that I was somewhere in between. She was also able to tell that I tend to lean more on my left foot, which made sense to me. I explained to her that I have had slight scoliosis for years, due to my right leg being ever so slightly longer. After my arch analysis, she brought out neutral shoes for me to wear to run on the treadmill. She asked what speed I would be comfortable at and started up the treadmill for me. I ran on it for only 10-15 seconds as they took video footage. She showed me footage of a runner with a more normal gait, and then an overpronator. Then I got to see my own footage, in slow-mo. SO COOL! She commented that it looked like I was pronating a bit on my right foot, but it could be because my foot pointed slightly outward, so she suggested I run on the "track" in the store so she could see for herself. The track was just a strip of rubberized material at the front of the store designed to look like a mini-road. After I ran on the track, she determined I did not pronate and definitely needed just a neutral shoe. She then brought out several brands for me to try -- Adidas, Brooks, Asics, New Balance. I was already wearing a pair of Nikes from the treadmill, so that was an option, too. She had me run on the track for each pair. She even offered for me to run outside, but I didn't want to "ruin" brand-new shoes. For each shoe, she also tested the amount of room at the front of the shoe. I decided on a pair but asked if there were more color options. When I didn't like the other color option they had, she brought out the catalog, where I did see a color I liked. She looked up the shoes and determined they were located at the storage facility and they would have them in the store in two days. Two days later, she called as promised. They had my shoes! I made my way to the store where they brought them out, I gave them a try, paid for them and was happily on my way. I feel confident in my choice of shoe, and was extremely happy with Big Peach's fit process. Big Peach has a respectable selection of running clothes, though obviously not as extensive as other places, since it is a small store. I was amused to see a wall of running sustenance -- jelly beans, gels, bars and various other snacks for runners to eat while on the road. They also had an impressive selection of running socks. Their website also offers running classes/seminars for an additional fee. Pay this store a visit, no matter what level runner you are. Nothing is as important as properly fitting running shoes, and Big Peach knows their stuff! read more

My running partner and I were in need of new shoes and while we were both fitted at another store for our original shoes, we wanted to check out the fit process recommended to us by other runners at Big Peach. Their associate, Kristen, was very thorough and while the store was busy, she gave us her complete attention. The fit process was great, complete with video analysis of our pronation while running on a treadmill and more running inside in a "track" while Kristen observed us in neutral shoes and then again in recommended shoes. It turned out my running partner was in too stable of a shoe and I was wearing the right shoe for my style. Kristen brought out multiple brands of shoes and we even took test runs around outside wearing each of the shoes. It seemed like they really cared about getting us into the right pair of shoes. They have a good selection of other running accessories, clothing and energy supplements. They even let us run around wearing the hydration belts! Do yourself a favor and take the time to get fitted for proper shoes and replace them when needed. It really makes a big difference. read more

Kind of a small store, only really carries clothes, shoes, and stuff for running. So why the 5 stars? Because, HOLY COW these guys know their stuff! They will not just sell you the best looking or most popular shoe, but really take the time to check out your natural running style and see what shoes work with you. (a treadmill and cameras let them do it and saw it with own eyes) If a shoe is a poor fit for you, or your stride, they'll tell you, and then show you why. This place is wonderful! I went in for a shoe fitting because I have recently developed plantar fasciitis and desperately needed something that fit my foot perfectly. No more "whatever is on sale and cute" for this gal. I went in with a budget of $100-150 but ended up buying a perfect pair of Merrell zero drops off the clearance shelf for $45!! I was properly fitted and put on a treadmill where the salesperson analyzed my gait. Also looked at the shape of my foot and how I stand. I've been wearing the shoes he recommended for about 3 months now and I still LOVE them. I call them my magic shoes lol because they keep my feet from hurting like no others I've ever tried. The prices on some of the other gear is a bit overpriced compared to big box stores like Dicks and especially online. read more

I love this store! First of all, they have an assessment system, which is wonderful if you're beginning your journey to find the right shoe. Even better, they don't push it on you. I did it once a couple years ago, but since then, through some trial and error, I have learned exactly what I need in terms of what's comfortable and what does and does not lead to injury. So when I come in and say "I generally know what I am looking for," they believe you and start listening. The employees are friendly and seem to have a genuine interest in shoes and in getting you into the right pair. I have feet that are wide in a really weird place, and they are really tough to accommodate. We had probably ten pair of shoes strewn everywhere, but not once did I feel like I was being a nuisance. They were willing to take all the time I needed to get it right. Employees seem to love what they do, and it has a big impact on the customer experience. BPRC will always be my go-to! read more

Great store. They have a free fitting process designed to get you the best fitting pair of shoes for your stride. I've been to another store that does this just to try and convince you to spend money on custom in soles that you don't need. They have group runs every Tuesday and Thursday and often have shoe companies there that let you try out their latest models. I ran my first marathon last year and they helped me a lot with getting the proper shoes, gels, and hydration products and even helped people with their long runs on Sundays. read more

My wife was looking for a runner's store that would help her select a pair of running shoes. She has plantar fasciitis and was looking for some help in treating it with a shoe and orthotics. We were very hesitant in going to a shoe store where most of the times you find teenagers as salesmen with very little knowledge about running or runners issues. When we first walked into the store, of course the first thing we saw were two teenage, early twenties young men working the store. We waited for a short time, while they helped other customers. We were then greeted by Brandon who walked up and introduced himself with a smile and politely asked if he could help us with anything. We explained what we were looking for and that my wife had plantar fasciitis. He told us that while he could fit us in a running shoe, that it wasn't going to fix her plantar fasciitis. He then explained alternatives on what we could do to help treat it and the different orthotics he had that could help with it. After a great explanation he offered to do a runners assessment to make sure the running shoe she was using was the correct style. We found out that while one foot was balanced the other was mildly pronated and the shoes she was using was for overly pronated feet. So he then suggested we change the shoe style to a minor pronated shoe because he felt that the current shoe might be over correcting and helping to contribute to the plantar fasciitis. He then pulled three different brands and had her try on all three and do test jogs to see how she liked them. She was stuck between two brands, so he had her put one on one foot and the other on the other foot and try them out. Then he switched them up to make sure she felt the difference in both feet. She settled on a specific brand and then he had her test jog again. He felt that she was actually in a size that was probably a 1/2 size too small for running, so he got her a half size larger and she tested those again. To say he was thorough in his assessment was an understatement. My wife had gone to other runners stores where they had done assessments, but had never received the customer service that Brandon had supplied. After finding the perfect running shoe for her, we asked about her work shoes and how she should handle standing on her feet all day. He then walked us through a process of testing different orthotics for her other shoes and we picked out a set of Superfeet that she liked. While Brandon was walking her through all the different processes, I did a quick lookup of prices online to see what kind of markup the store had. I was very surprised to find that the prices in the store were the same prices I was finding online at other stores. So comparatively speaking, it looks like they have very little markup on their shoes or orthotics. I'll be honest in that I rarely give out five stars as a review for anything, but I was so surprised with the customer service we received from Brandon that I would be hesitant to give him and this store anything but. I know that they now have a loyal customer in me and my family and I'll be recommending them every chance I get. read more

About a week after his purchase my husband was having a little knee pain and went back to the store to see what his options were. He explained where/what was hurting and they brought out another pair of shoes with a softer midsole. No hassel, no upsell, no restocking fee; they just exchanged his shoes with no questions. I recently purchased my first pair of fitted and good quality running shoes. Before I always purchased off the rack based on price and looks. I have recently begun running for fitness and needed some knowledgeable assistance in preparing to start running seriously. I looked around and saw great reviews for a locally owned company "Big Peach Running Company". My wife and I decided what the heck lets give it a shot. After going in to be fitted I left with what I thought were a great pair of running shoes. I went through their extensive fit process including gait analysis and foot profiling and after trying on multiple pairs of shoes left with a great pair of Mizuno running shoes. I was very impressed with their service and their prices. The prices in the store are comparable to what you will find on any retailer such as amazon.com as well as other shoe stores, but the personal attention and attention to detail cannot be beaten. This alone would garner a 5 star rating from me. But what I am truly reviewing is the reason behind why I will NEVER purchase shoes from anywhere other than Big Peach Running in the future. After participating in their organized group run on a Tuesday I felt a bit of pain in my shoes and shrugged it off to running more than i normally do due to the competition of running against other people, however after running two days later the same distance I noticed sharp pains in my knees. I immediately returned to the store where they immediately began taking care of the problem. After talking to Kermit, who appears to be a local fixture / hero of the BPR in Suwanee listened to me, and I mean really listened, he asked me to demonstrate how I had been running. After taking a look he realized that I was wearing shoes that were "too stiff" for my running style. What I thought was support and firmness when I left the first time turned out to be a problem for me. So even having logged upwards of 6 miles in the shoes I had previously purchased they began the fit process once again. I tried on a few more pair of shoes and found a pair i thought fit well. At Kermit's suggestion I took a quick jog around the Suwanee Towne Center and returned to the store feeling absolutely no pain in my knees and feeling no tightness or rubbing in my shoe. I think it is amazing they allow you to actually take a "test run" in the shoes. After applying my 10% discount for being one of the Tuesday group runners to they with absolutely no hassle exchanged my old shoes for a new pair of shoes and I actually got money back on the deal! At no time did they attempt to up sell me into more expensive shoes, make me feel bad for returning my old shoes, or feel bad for being out of shape (I'm a fairly large man). I was so amazed with the personal service, level of expertise and friendliness of the staff that I will not shop for running shoes anywhere else. Kermit truly cared that I was having pain resulting from my shoes and worked hard to make sure that we did not repeat the same mistake I made days earlier when I bought my first pair of shoes. After deciding on the new pair of shoes the check out process was very simple, they calculated the difference in price from my old to my new shoes with no restocking fees or other associated return fees and PAID ME the difference in the price since my new shoes were a few dollars cheaper. The level of expertise and care I experienced while working with the BPR team in Suwanee, GA has truly made me a BPR customer for life. I don't see how you could get better service anywhere. I am already recommending them to my friends and family. Kermit in particular has impressed me thoroughly, however both of the other employees we worked with were equally as knowledgeable and polite. In addition the pet friendly nature of the store as well as the fact that on Tuesday we had the pleasure to meet one of the owners who jumped right in and helped us just like the other staff have made me love this BPR location.
