These guys were amazing! I was prepping my home that I had just sold for the new buyers who were about to move in and I had a pile of junk that I was needing to get rid of within a couple of days before I turn the keys over. It was stressing me out about trying to find someone who would pick up on such last minute notice and at a reasonable price too. Well I'll tell you what, I am so grateful to have come across these guys. I had a quick call with them, sent a few photos of the junk via text, he sent me a quote and then was at my doorstep within 30 minutes to pick up the junk. I will also add, the quote was 10X better than ALL of the other junk companies that I called in the Leander/Georgetown area. It was such a pleasant experience the whole way through, it was quick, easy, and inexpensive. The guys are super polite, humble, and down to earth and definitely willing to go above and beyond to make sure that everything was hauled away that needed to be. I'm not the type to write reviews but these guys were so great to work with that I had to let everyone know. I ended up paying a lot more than I thought I'd pay, but I didn't realize how expensive junk hauling would run. The price was actually reasonable compared to other quotes I got. On to the actual service. Robin was absolutely fantastic. Called for a quote and he went out to my place and quoted me his price. I asked him when I could expect to have everything gone and he told me he could load it up then and there, and sent me pictures afterwards of the completed job. I am a newbie to HOAs and needed the job done quickly to avoid fines. He was super understanding, and as stated, got the job done very quickly. We live up in Leander and had some stuff from the garage that needed removal and we requested some quotes from the usual big players in Austin. Almost all of them quoted 100 USD or more even for the most normal of items like big cardboard boxes. Then we called Big Ox and spoke to the guys there about our needs. At 50 USD, the price was hard to beat. Asheton from Big Ox swung by the very next day and helped clean out all the stuff we wanted, and even helped out on a few other items for just a little cost more. I made the decision to move out of an apartment I had lived in for 10 years and chose to really downsize the amount of belongings I had. I didn't realize all that had accumulated in that time. Once moving day had passed, I was left with an apartment filled with garbage and things I no longer had room for or the desire to keep. Big Ox Junk Removal did a terrific job removing my existing patio structure. Robin was very professional and responded quickly to my texts and phone calls. I texted him photos of what I needed removed on a Monday and it was done by Wednesday afternoon. Also, the cost was exactly what I had budgeted to spend. He showed up on time and removed the structure and didn't leave a single trace that he'd been there. The existing patio was swept clean, there wasn't a stray nail or shred of wood left anywhere. My husband has used Big Ox on three separate occasions and has been very pleased with his service. He is quick to respond to texts and arrived on time every time. We needed removal of a desk, a mattress, bed frame, various size trash bags, boxes and plastic containers. I think the price is good considering the time, physical exertion, gas, dump fees and hassle it would be to haul the junk off yourself even if you had a vehicle/trailer capable of moving such a large load. read more
