Wanted to give props to this business! Found them on Craigslist on a sunday and reached out. I figured I wouldn't receive a response until Monday. Was pleasantly surprised when I received a response within 30 minutes or so. Needed to have an old sofa removed, and they quoted me a fair and honest price. Saved me a lot of trouble of trying to coordinate with family and friends who have trucks and such. They showed up within the time frame that was quoted on Wednesday. Worked quickly and efficiently and the price I paid was fair of the amount of work performed. Also, the folks I met that day were very courteous and personable. do not use donkey tree service. they do not give correct advice on trees and are too quick to "cut down" any tree in question. we met with a representative from donkey tree ,the guy gave 4 answers. i live in a condo and they quickly told a new board that a tree had to come down., but..city of austin and the plumber said the roots affecting a plumbing issue could be cut and many times cutting a root does not kill a huge old tree. my neighbors and myself are devastated, a new in -experienced board believing words from a company, refusing to look at past reports from a reputable tree service, donkey tree is quick to cut....i will "never" recommend them. read more

Unlike some competitors who say they would need to show up first before they can give you a quote, Donkey Junk asks for photos to provide a quote. Their quotes are fast. I got mine in 30 minutes. Second, they are environmentally friendly. The photos allow them to understand what they can recycle and what they would need to rely on landfills for. This gives them the ability to provide the lowest quote among the top 6 vendors I researched based on ratings in Austin. Third, they don't rely on brute force but rather power tools to disassemble and then reassemble items to be recycled. This makes the removal less risky for accidents, injury and collateral damage to the house. Finally they are a woman owned business. In fact, Andrea came with gloves on to work on my project.
