Junk Busters USA saved the day for me when I had an entire carport's worth of waste to get rid of before it succumbed to mold/rats/roaches from the summer rains. Don't believe me? Check out the before and after photos and get back to me on that. Excellent customer service from start to finish - I called at 9:30am and snagged an appointment for 4:30 on the same day. (I think it was the tone of desperation in my voice that really got me on the schedule.) The team of two young guys who showed up were professional and obviously loved their job. Extra kudos for saving us a little money. Junk Busters charges by the volume your junk takes up inside their truck. (That is, unless you're throwing out bricks or cement, in which case it's by weight.) I watched them really work at fitting all this loose material into the smallest space possible. Should I ever need seconds for a Tetris tournament, I'm picking these two gentlemen. Highest thumbs-up for their service, a definite recommend! (I do think that instead of naming their truck 'Agnes' they should call it 'Junk Force One'.)

They were organized and efficient, wrapping/taking apart/putting together whatever was needed. It wasn't an uncomplicated move since we were coming from two apartments combining into one. However, they handled this seamlessly. The business has a mom and pop feel to it and I felt like they really cared about the service they were providing. Overall I 100% recommend this moving company (specifically Jay and his crew). In fact, I recommended them to a friend just a couple weeks ago and she reported the same satisfaction!

My husband and I decided to hire this crew based on their Yelp reviews and what a total disaster it was. Avoid like the plague!!!! If you're looking for affordable movers, AKA UNPROFESSIONAL and CHEAP, then by all means go for it. Truthfully, I don't even know where to begin. - First off, what crew shows up to move you during COVID-19 WITHOUT A MASK?!? I'm sorry, but that is UNACCEPTABLE! That should have been the first warning sign. - We were promised a crew of 4, yet only 3 showed up. Myra the office manager is a terrible communicator and never reached out to confirm times, as this was supposed to be a multi-day move. We had to continuously be the ones to reach out and confirm appointment times. Frustratingly, she had a different story to tell than the crew manager who was on site. Conflicting messages were shared all across. HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL! - 75% of crew was highly unprofessional and uninterested in working. Literally, every request we had (by the way, nothing out of the ordinary, we've moved quite a bit and know a thing or two about moving protocol, like putting down runners to protect the flooring - duh!) from small to large, was a no. Yet another red flag. They even had the decency to make snarky remarks. The team lead even threatened me at one point that he was going to "walk out and not finish the job" after I voiced my concerns. Talk about disrespectful, you're not talking to your friend here, pal. I'm sorry - I'm the customer here, and customer service and politeness used to mean something once upon a time. Oh wait, it still does with professional companies! - They had stated that the mattresses would be covered and protected during transport, NOT the case. Our mattress arrived filthy and unprotected. - The icing on the cake was when the crew never showed up on the 3rd day, at the agreed upon time. We called the office number, no luck. No emergency contact was provided. We called the previous crew and were rudely hung up on. No explanation. No call until FOUR HOURS later. Mind you, most of the big furniture pieces were still left unpacked and unmoved. Desperate to get out on time, we hired another company to finish the job and thank god we did because not in a million years would I want to deal with this business in any capacity again! Please find yourself a moving company who is willing and eager to go above and beyond to make an already stressful situation somewhat bearable with courtesy and respect. Edited to add response to business owner: with all due respect, it speaks volumes that you are blaming everything on the customer and have not once apologized for the conduct of your extremely UNPROFESSIONAL CREW or your shortcomings. In any case, I'm glad that other options exist because, rest assured you will never earn my business again.

    Moving is very stressful. I was on a time crunch and did not get to check and make everything was…read moreremoved. When I returned to the house latter there were items that should have been hauled away. 3 emails later and still no call to address this. This is horrible customer service and I will never use this service again! I think they are way overpriced and I wish I had more time to shop around. Now I am getting untruths for example: I have not heard from anyone except this email, no one called and no one was home for them to return.     In theory this would be a great service but something about my personal experience made me feel…read moreuneasy about it. I was downsizing to a 1 bedroom apartment and decided to get rid of a cheap couch that I got off of Amazon. It wasn't heavy at all and besides the base it was cushions.. I wanted to get a quote over the phone to get an idea if it would be in a doable range but when I reached out I was advised that they don't do that but that they come to you, assess what you need gone and will provide a quote. They advised that if you don't like the price then you can just let their reps know and they'd go on their way. The two gentleman that came to the house were friendly. I showed them the couch and they looked it over. They had a folder with prices and other info so they pulled thst out and advised about their fees and that I wouldn't need to pay environmental fees, etc. They said they charge based on how my space the items will take up on their truck (or something like that). They said the items size was comparable to a refrigerator so it would be $300ish (can't recall how much exactly). I was completely flabbergasted. The cost of trashing it would be a little less than what I paid for it new on Amazon! I was shocked and told them that I was not willing to pay that and I was sorry to waste their time. I said that that's why I tried to get and idea of cost over the phone because I literally thought it would be around $50-60. They mumbled something to each other and began to negotiate by saying that they're not supposed to but that they could discount it and get it down to $125. I thought about it but still declined. I was determined that I'd figure out alternate arrangements. They then told me that they'd call their boss to see if they could bring the cost down any more so they proceeded to walk outside to make the call. I stood there soo uncomfortablw because it felt weird like they get a commission or something by the way they were trying to negotiate the pricing. Shortly after, I walked outside and told them that unfortunately I was no longer interested in using their services. They looked disappointed and a tad bit annoyed and said that their boss may call me (which he didn't). In my humble opinion and just based on my experience it came off a little like a scam so just a heads up if you decide to try to use their services.
