I decided to check several hauling companies before settling on Pick Up Haulers. Chris was the…read moreonly company that actually had a verbal conversation with me so we would be on the same page . I had estimates from $200 to over 1K $$$ when I sent out a list of items I anticipated needed to be removed. One of the many things I liked about Pick Up Haulers is that they do their best to sort everything that they pick up and try to recycle it at the appropriate places instead of just taking it all to the landfill. They ended up spending more than a couple of hours lifting and carrying stuff out to their flatbed trailer /they also disassembled a trundle bed and were able to take it in the mattress to the truck . They determine their price based on the amount of space (? Cubic feet )We ended up using about 3/4 of their space on their large flatbed trailer and the fee was just a little over $300. I felt that was very fair for the services provided. Texas in May isn't usually quite as hot & humid as the Friday we moved. I enjoyed Chris and the young man that was his employee. They were very respectful and understood our situation. I would definitely use them again and plan to whenever we decide to move!! One thing I will say is that after this experience I definitely feel that less. (much less.!!) is more! LOL

There was so much trash left there, we needed help removing everything. We live 4 hours away from the lot but they were great about sending progress photos and keeping us in the loop. These guys are top notch and do a fantastic job. We highly recommend them and will use them again if ever needed. The Dillons

Like most, we put it off, trying to do it ourselves. But after hearing a noise coming from the boxes-a tiny squirrel-we knew that to get him out, first things first - That junk HAD to come out FAST. We immediately called and requested estimates from a few local Austin area Junk Removal services who could get a truck out to us with immediate ASAP service! JACKRABBIT JUNK REMOVAL TO THE RESCUE! In less than 15 minutes, we had a call back from a gentleman named Rolin, who understood our immediate needs and gave us an idea of the cost of the job-w/no upsells, no additional charges. They arrived first thing next morning-texting us to let us know they were on their way, getting here right on time & ready to go! Rolin and his able assistant were quick & thorough-my entire area was cleared in less than 2 hours. Price was very reasonable, actually costing far less than we had expected. He explained that he bases the job cost on the size of the load. If you have need to get rid of any of your unwanted junk-then JACKRABBIT JUNK REMOVAL should be your first call. We are already planning the next clean out of our garage for later this year-and of course Rolin will be our first call.

I will use Jack Rabbit Junk Removal and Rolin again! Highly recommend! Thank you Rolin!

The actual people who did the pickup were fine. A bit more bumping into walls than I'd like, but otherwise ok. The problem was scheduling. I booked a month in advance and they said they would be there the morning of pickup between 8 and 10 am. They were texting me to ask for pictures of what I needed taken away as early as 8:15. At 9:45 they texted me a quote. I messaged them around 10:30 asking if/when they were coming b/c the pickup window had passed. And then I didn't hear anything until around noon. Two hours after the pickup window. That's when they told me that they weren't going to be there until around 4. In reality, it was around 4:50. The reviews here are still generally really good, so I'm hoping my experience was just a fluke, but the lateness combined with the lack of communication made for a really disappointing experience.
