We came to eat with our children for lunch after church. We have five kids and waited over 20 minutes and no one even came by and said hello to our table. The kids were hungry and thirsty and the staff wasn't giving us the time of day. If it were just my husband and I we might have been a little less concerned but with our five children with us it is a little more important to us that we receive timely service! We come here ALL the time and I can honestly say I'm incredibly disappointed. On our way out I overheard the host whispering out how we had decided to walk out. We would not have done so if we would have been served in a timely manner. read more

The chips are so good cookies and cream shake was so delicious staff were amazingly helpful

It has been awhile since my last visit. They do call ahead and generally about 30 minute wait. Currently at half capacity. Service was great. Food was brought out fairly quickly and was hot. The fries with truffles are a must. Burger cooked just as ordered. read more

Excellent- best burger I ever have had! Service and atmosphere was great. French fries were good too.

I was not expecting this place to be this amazing. Drinks were spot on. So delish but also get you a good buzz. When you tell the waiter you want your burger medium rare, you get it medium rare and it's perfect!! I would definitely come here again. We sat at the bar and was perfect for us since we were in no rush. 10/10! read more

My friend recommended this place to cure my burger craving and boy it did NOT disappoint. It was freaking goooood. We came around 7:30 and we were seated right away. The workers were very kind and helpful. Our server helped us navigate the menu and understand how everything comes. We were a party of 10 and our server handles our group with ease. She was very good and got all our orders correct. My husband and I LOVED our burgers. We shared an order of fries. It was all soooo good. It was my moms birthday and they gave her a free shake! They were so kind. Can't wait to come back read more

This trendy restaurant is located in the Promenade outdoor mall. The interior is beautiful and very modern with good lighting and an industrial feel to it with exposed ventilation ducts, open rafters, and wooden paneling. There is a wide variety of themed burgers with the associated toppings. For example the farmer burger comes with an egg. The Reaper burger is a spicy burger with jalapenos, chipotle red pepper mayo, and more. The portion sizes are about what you would expect; not huge, but also not lacking. I don't recall if they have a military discount, I'll have to check next time, I'm there read more

Everything from the service to the food. It's excellent! I recommend the fish and chips but I've had several of the dishes that were also yummy!! read more

We wandered in rather close to closing time on a Thursday evening, after a long day on the road. Despite the late hour, we were warmly greeted and immediately shown to a table. Throughout our entire visit, we felt treated like royalty. Our waitress was super friendly and happy we'd come so far to eat at Big Orange. She made some excellent suggestions, and even sent some swag and coupons with us when we left. I ordered the homemade lemon/limeade, and my friend had her first glass of sweet tea for our road trip to the south. Both were refreshing and delicious. We had scoped this place out partly because of their veggie burger, as a vegetarian I love finding a place that doesn't just slap a Boca patty on it and call it good. Big Orange's veggie burger is made in house and has a delightful kick to it. According to our waitress, the level of spice varies depending on who is making the burger batch that day. I love that. My friend ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, and wow...she gave me a piece of the breading to try, and it definitely cleared my sinuses! Lives up to its name, for sure. We shared some house-made chips for a side, and they were really good as well. I was really impressed by the friendly atmosphere and all the the made from scratch options at Big Orange. I'd go back in a heartbeat, and would probably order a shake next time too. They looked amazing... read more

Terrible customer service and worst management I've encountered. Our family attempted to eat there on 12/26 & 12/27. Fryers not working on the 26th. We called to confirm we could be served on the 27th, but found the doors were locked when we arrived at noon. We could see customers eating and staff working inside, but no one opened the doors. Squeezed in when someone exited, but still no staff greeted us. Finally told that there were problems and couldn't be served -- we could check back again in 30 minutes to see if the doors are unlocked. We had dragged small children out to this place twice for a holiday meal for the entire family. Who runs a restaurant this way? read more

A new place to eat for burgers and more. Came in on a weekday so was lucky not to wait for a table. Seems to be a very popular place for groups, but plenty of seating and a bar area. Craved a burger, so ordered a Cheddar (Swiss substituted) and bacon, yum! Came on a fresh toasted bun, burger was cooked through, had plenty of cheese and couple thick slices of bacon. I did order extra condiments of lettuce tomato and onion to add on my burger. And the fresh fries were a great, served hot out of the fryer, slightly golden brown exterior and tender potato inside. A friend ordered the HOT-n-HOT Chicken. Don't get fooled, this is SUPER spicy hot with a combo cayenne type rub then add Buffalo sauce on a large fresh chicken breast, a bit over the top for my taste - can't imagine how my stomach would feel! The sweet potato fries were very good, but tough to taste after a bite of the sandwich. I'd say, wow need a beverage chaser if you order this sandwich! Topped off the meal and ordered a chocolate shake for dessert - thick and tasty, generous portion size this was enough to share, and nice way to finish the meal! Finally, want to mention our server was prompt, friendly and efficient, but also beware this is a higher priced eatery, so expect to pay more than your average burger restaurant. Enjoy! read more

Food is awesome! Service has been horrible the last few times we went. Please up the service. There were plenty of employees that were hustling but we got the one that disappeared and you couldn't find her. I saw another family upset about it too read more

Not a bad place but when I was served at the bar the service was sub par. The waiter was telling some folks it was his last week so maybe he was not dialed in. But still food is expensive so you want your moneys worth .( waiting for your drink and your app coming at the same time as your meal sucks as well.) read more

Question for the restaurant. I'm giving you 5 stars because I like the flavors you put together. Especially the truffle and fig. Here's what I don't like and the question. I just really dislike thick burgers. The fat doesn't render and they're rarely cooked to my temperature preference without overcooking the outside. This is why we don't go to your restaurant. Question: do you do a smash burger style patty? This would bring us back in and often. read more

Great burgers and shakes. Make sure you come hungry because the burgers are huge! Great fried pickles as well.

LOVE going to Big Orange. We love the food, the atmosphere and the staff are always friendly and attentive. My favorite dish is the Hot N Hot Chicken Sandwich. You won't be disappointed. read more

3 1/2 Stars seems like a reasonable rating for my experience at Big Orange, but since that's not an option, 3 it is. Pros: Turkey, Veggie, and Beef burger options Waffle sweet potato fries Gluten free buns Cons: Limited parking at the mall Mediocre service Tasteless burgers read more

Went for dinner around 630pm on Monday night. We waited 15 mins for our table. Not a big deal. Hostess are friendly. Finally sat down. Menu selection is great. Our waitress was very kind but since the restaurant is packed, service was a little slower. Not a big deal. We are not in a rush. We had state fair fries (so good), white truffle burger with side of truffle fries (yum!). Husband got The reaper. It was actually good and not super spicy where you can't feel your taste bud! Overall it's a great experience. It just a little too long to get our soda and beer refill. But we will come back ! read more

On our way back from Pine Bluff, AR my husband and I stopped halfway home for some food. We've always wanted to try Big Orange and thought it would make a great, quick lunch. And ... I love it when we're right! To start, they have really fun cocktails and a cool atmosphere to enjoy them in. Decor was mostly orange, one of my favorite colors, so it was very cozy-feeling to me despite its industrial/contemporary design. Food-wise, I had the Smashed Avocado (Turkey) Burger. It was so messy, but in a very good way. Very satisfying as well despite not being a greasy hamburger. There was a pepper salad on the sandwich that I ate, but actually preferred it without. Just my preference though. I had truffle garlic fries to go with them, and they were very yummy! Love anything truffled, so they were straight up my alley. My husband had the southern fried chicken sandwich, which was basically a chicken breast on a bun. However, he definitely enjoyed! So many other good sandwiches (and cocktails) on the menu, I am definitely coming back to try something else. Can't wait! read more

Burgers were amazing. French fries were delicious. Servers all had smiles on their faces.

Great spot for lunch, plan to wait about 30 mins for great food. The Carolina Reaper burger was out of this world!

Came here on a lazy Saturday afternoon with the fam just trying to find something new. This was definitely the spot. Our waitress, Erica, was the absolute best. She was patient and kind with our little ones. They were crazy fussy and didn't seem to want to be nice. She brought out some chips to help them and made sure everyone was great. The best serving experience I have ever received. This lady should be the gold standard for servers. Both of our younger kids got the chicken nuggets. Healthy portions of breast meat chicken. It was covered in a delicious golden crust and seasoned so that both a kid or adult would love it. My oldest son and I both had the Hot and Hot chicken sandwich. It was a delicious piece of hot battered chicken on the most delicious brioche style bun. 10/10 would get again. The heat stays with you a bit afterwards, be forewarned. My wife got the chili. She said it was just as good as the chili she makes. Best compliment I've ever heard her give. We ended up doing our cheat day here and both got the shakes. Haven't had them yet, but unless You see a 4 star rating on this review, they were out of this world too! Ok, so the shakes came before I finished my review. This will be cheat day at least once a month! The Arkansas cold brew is the absolute best!! read more

I love the food, but not a single employee is masked, NOT ONE!!! Even if a server is vaccinated, they could be positive and still be a super spreader! Why doesn't the owner/manager understand simple science?! read more

I made a reservation for a table on the patio at 6:30. Got there 10 mins early and they didn't have a table available and said it would be 15 mins. 30 mins go by so I approach the hostess. She said "We still don't have a table for you and it may be another 30 mins" We tell the other hostess we will just sit inside at a booth. Once seated, one member of our party orders a Dr. Pepper. The drink arrives and has no carbonation. When they ask for another drink, our waitress states that the drink machine is down and this drink was from a bottle. Our friend asks for a water instead. We wait 20 mins for our food and it comes out correct and delicious. Two members of our party decide to order another alcohol beverage halfway through our meals. It takes 25 mins for them to arrive to which we no longer want them. When we receive our bills, our friend was still charged for the Dr. Pepper that she did not drink. Our waitress took it off but that was after she rolled her eyes and said "I guess I can take it off". We were not checked on throughout our meal. I have been here multiple times in the past without issues, but tonight was the worst service I've ever received.... Making me question coming back. read more

Ate here for lunch with stepkids & in-laws. Something for everyone- but had to get a burger as this was my first time at a Big Orange. We sat at a large round table that was part booth & also had 3 chairs. Plenty of room. Service was great- no complaints. Ordered the Mushroom Melt & fries. You can choose any of kind of burger with either beef, turkey or veggie. They ask how you would like them cooked (medium, medium well, etc). Also, gluten-free buns. Huge burgers with everything on the side. Fries - I would suggest sharing 1 order. Huge portions, great variety, & service. Downside- located at The Promenade Mall so parking can be hit or miss. read more

This place isn't what I expected! I'm not kidding when I say this is the best burger I've ever had. And also a great spot if you have dietary restrictions. They have delicious milkshakes and many of them can be made vegan! Gluten free options as well. Don't come here without getting the truffle fries! We are at the bar because of the long wait and the nice bartender did not slack on service! He was friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. read more

So freakin delicious... the takis chicken sandwich? Burger? Don't care. Best cheat day ever. It was delicious. But add onions and it would be mind blowing. The classic was good Fries and sweet potato fries were yummy but way to heavy on the salt guys... please pull it back on that. We can always add more salt ourselves... I was sadden there wasn't blue moon .... the bathroom walls next to the toilet dispenser weren't the cleanest either.. but the bathroom was pretty and trendy The atmosphere was fun Service was 7/10 but not a deal breaker.
