Had a great experience at Big O Tires. DJ was super helpful with the process and my car was in and out extremely fast!! I recommend this business over any other business in town. read more

I got my oil changed there. Didn't think nothing of it no leaks no nothing. I thought it was good. Until now that I'm getting my oil changed again. The drain plug was over. Tightened and where the drain plug attaches to the pan it was also dented in for some weird reason. I changed my oil all the time only needed to get it done there for insurance reasons to prove mileage. Needless to say I'll never go back and I feel like they owe me a new oil pen and plug. beware. read more

Came in for a screw in our right front tire only to be shown we had three right in a row in the same tire. All tires are coming up due to be replaced so, what to do. They were very nice and took great care of us. In the end we got a good value, great service and walked out with 6 new tires for our duly. read more

John and DJ took great care of us. We were on road trip from SF to TX, we woke up to a slow leak/flat tire. John had us back on the road in 20 minutes! He was super nice and professional. Thank you fellas! read more

RUDE AND DID NOT TIGHTEN OIL FILTER. Came here for a routine oil change. All was well. I was informed I'd be needing a full brake job. I figured with my car's mileage. I politely informed the worker I'd prefer to take my car to my mechanic for that kind of work. He became rude and aggressive, questioning why I wouldn't just bring the car to my mechanic for the oil change. As it turns out, I'm a student living 3 hours from home (and my mechanic). The worker was VERY disrespectful. Next thing, my car started leaking oil. I take it to my mechanic to find the problem. THE OIL FILTER WAS LOOSE. These people hand tightened the filter, risking catastrophic failure of my vehicle. Not worth the money, experience, or service. Don't take your car here for anything but tires. read more

I just got the royal treatment from DJ at Big O tires. I explained to him I had a big screw in my tire yesterday July 4. They were closed so obviously I could not get it serviced. He was apologetic and they will take good care of me and get the tire fixed ASAP. Happy to report he comped the repair, patched it in under 30 min. I appreciate businesses that take care of the customer a d not just stick it to you. DJ was polite and professional and accommodating. I highly recommend this place and please ask for DJ. read more

My father got tires there about maybe 10 years ago. The technicians were really awesome. We were offered coffee, which was awesome because they don't do that anymore. The only other place that did that is Anderson tire company. He had no complaints. I think it took like 30 minutes for the service brand new tires. I'm not too sure how they are now. read more

I popped a tire, put the spare on, and made it over right before close. Mark and Shelby helped me get a new one on quickly right at close. They were very helpful and efficient. I appreciate them helping me out even though they were closing. I was in and out quickly. I'd recommend this place to anyone! I appreciate the help and willingness to stay a bit past close to help me out! Thank you! read more

All the guys were very nice and helpful and made me feel comfortable. They patched my tire super quickly and made sure I got back down to the valley safely. Highly recommend. read more

Do not go here! They purposely mess with your car so they can charge you more money. Thankfully I got a second opinion before giving my money to this undeserving business. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Let's be real...no one wants to spend their day (or their money) on new tires. But when I unexpectedly needed them, Big O Tires came through! I called and to my surprise, they were able to get me in for same-day service. The staff was friendly, quick, and really took the time to explain all my options without pressure. Logan was especially helpful and polite, which made the whole process so much smoother. If you're looking for friendly, fast, and reliable service, this is the spot. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Came in with a screw in my tire, told me they couldn't fix it, okay cool, but then they keep my tire and look at me stupid when I asked for it back because I was going to go somewhere else. DO NOT GO HERE. Over priced, cocky staff and while all the mechanics are standing around you'll still be waiting for them to take your car to be worked on. read more

DJ squeezed us in and fixed a damaged tire to get us back on the road quickly! Thanks for the great service and professionalism!

DJ was honest, professional and efficient. He took care of my A/C problem, final charge was exactly the same as the quote. Definitely recommend! read more

Andrew at this location has always helped me and my husband with tire needs. His prices tend to beat competitor prices by a long shot. The wait time is not as long as other places either. He really does the best he can to find what you need a good price that works for your budget! read more

Had brake issues while on a day trip up from Phoenix. Mark C and the team went above and beyond to resolve our issues, check and repair other issues and got us back on the road same day. 10 out of 10 stars, highly recommend. read more

I needed a tire rotation and inspection, and an oil change. I originally went to a different location in town, but my van was too big to fit in their shop, so they sent me to this location to ask for DJ. DJ took great care of my van right away and ended up charging me less than what the other store had originally quoted me. He was super nice and approachable, answering any question I had with patience. I got my van back in about 2 hours. I highly recommend this place and having DJ as your service advisor! read more

Brought my car in for an alignment and came back with them trying to charge me an extra $150 on top of the alignment ($300 alignment). No phone call or anything. On top of that, they changed the ride height of my vehicle so it rides horrible. I went to the other big o in town to have them realign it and put the car back how it was, but they wanted to charge me an hour of labor for practically nothing. I went home and did what they wanted to charge me an hour for in 5 mins. Other reviews might say they are okay, but they are likely being ripped off without knowing. On another occasion, my dad went to get tires changed there and WITHOUT ASKING, threw away his old tires that had maybe 40% life left. I bet those tires are now on an employees truck. Finally, another time I went in for an alignment, I was told that they could not align my car because my sway bar bushings are bad and told me they needed to do them. If you know anything about cars, sway bar has nothing to do with alignment. Without a question the worst place to get work done in flagstaff. The other side is slightly better, but I will be going to Firestone, Heaths, or the dealer from now on. read more

Daughter had a flat and her tires were under warranty. The technician said he had to order it from Phoenix and it will be there on Tuesday. Daughter didn't hear from the and called to check. The SAME technician said he didn't know anything and it wasn't ordered. Then he said that she had to order the tire from Phoenix. Daughter call the other Big O on Walgreen and they said that the store orders the tire. He called the Phoenix location and they didn't have it. He ordered it from the district warehouse. Service is everything. We found a new tire retailer and it's not on Route 66. read more

The service representative was rude in the extreme. Generally, a business that treats customers poorly will, overtime, lose business and it isn't worth one's time just to leave a review for discourtesy. However, I was charged for a warranty I didn't request. Fortunately, I checked the receipt before leaving and requested and got a refund. When the representative gave me the revised receipt he told me the revised one would "make sure you don't ever try to use the warranty"...implying that the dishonesty was on the part of the customer. read more

So rude. I walked in and asked if they had time for an oil change and immediately got screamed at to "give him more information than that". I have never been treated so poorly. I came in for an oil change, and they tried to over charge me on every single thing. When called out it, things magically became free. Never go here. read more

In at 8am, out at 9am, oil change and rotation/balance. Smooth ride home, all issues taken care of. Some sales pitch for other work, but typical of repair shops, no problem, not my first rodeo. I'll be back! read more

Left vehicle for balancing. He said it would take one hour. We took advantage of a walk and are enjoying breakfast while we wait. Before our food arrived the hero was ready. Did a road trip from Bay Area to Minnesota but I took the southern route to avoid ice and snow during Christmas, had to get new tires and a wheel alignment in Arizona with over 3000 total miles left. Many places turned me down due to holiday hours or over booked, big ol tires flagstaff took me in a changed it quick. Great crew & thankful beyond belief 12/10 read more

Excellent customer service! We were really in a bind when our car's tire was severely damaged on the freeway leaving Flagstaff, and we limped in 20 minutes before the shop was supposed to close on a Saturday night. No tire shop around was going to be open until Monday, which would have forced us to get a rental car and a hotel room for 2 nights. Luckily this store had tires in stock that fit our car. Service Advisor DJ and his crew stayed overtime to put on a new set of tires for us (as a second was found damaged too). We greatly appreciated their level of customer service, going above and beyond to help us out in an emergency. We highly recommend this Big O Tires location. read more

While on a road trip these guys help me out big-time got me in quick in and out fast as well. Highly recommend it. Thank you.

I normally come to these guys but I think I will no longer be going here and am almost positive I was taken advantage of. I was going to get my engine mounts done at Big O Tires and I'm so happy I second guessed the price they gave me and came to Brake Masters instead. Big O Tires wanted to charge me 1200 while Brake Masters quoted me for half of that. I've been taken advantage of with other mechanics before and I feel like that's exactly what was happening at Big O Tires. Brake Masters did an amazing job, they told me there was no reason I should be paying that much, I would must rather go somewhere trustworthy. There is also a girl working at Brake Masters who is super sweet and all of the employees are amazing! Big O, I'm disappointment and will not be recommending... especially NOT to WOMEN. Oh yeah they also told me I quote "If anything goes wrong while we're messing with the engine that might make things more expensive" what the hell is that supposed to mean? I wouldn't pay for additional damage from your employees that I had nothing to do with? They already did the inspection so read more

Recommended for Tesla owners! After calling around and either being told they couldn't service my car (Meinike, various local independents), or proving themselves totally unreliable despite scheduled appointments (Pep Boys), I was finally able to find a place that worked out. -1 star as they don't offer appointments for alignment, and they forgot to call me after service was done for a few hours. read more

Being a girl I always have experienced lack of confidence or judgement from mechanics when I go to a shop for anything I need last minute (I race so going to a shop is very rare) I needed new KO2's because I had to go to a race and my tires had no more tread, not only did I not feel any judgement because I'm a girl, but I felt as if they have treated me better than any other shop I've bought tires from. Very helpful guys! read more

I told them i was in a hurry and they said they could help me out in 30 mins, waited an hour with no update only to ask and have them tell me "oh yea we might have to wait a couple hours" Extremely unprofessional, were told by a couple locals not to go but i gave them the benefit of the doubt looking at how the reviews weren't too bad but that was my mistake. Dont bother to waste your time, they probably had family and friends give them good reviews. Feel free to go and have your time wasted read more

I wrote my review about my honest experience at big O, the only real reason we went there was because of the fact that it was across the street from where our hotel is.... I have been to other mechanic shops and they are suppose to take customer first come first serve.. And we were not treated like valued customers.... we were ignored and passed over over and over during a cold and not very nice snow storm.. This morning a representative from Big O called my father in law to ask about the review... really?? Please do not go here, they will over quote you.. they will try to take the fact you are stranded or just need your car fixed and ream you for whatever they can.. They quoted me 8 hours of labor... at a tune of 900.00.. I took it to seven day auto, and they were more then friendly and only charged me 1/4 of that for a 3 hour job, which is the only time it took plus i brought my own part.. seven day auto are honest people who value their customers, and are just straight to the point kinda ppl.. Did not appreciate Andrew from Big O calling us to harass us about our review... REALLY?? read more

great customer service. terrible quality work. my car had a tire warranty that i was told had no stipulations until i bring it back in and for some reason the warranty doesn't work for whatever reason. charged me $6000 to replace my tires and some damages from hitting a curb way too fast. later the car still has some power-steering issues so they tell me they'll fill up my power-steering fluid and replace a few things in the engine. i get the car back and it's still broken. turns out there is no power-steering on the car. it doesn't take fluid since it's all electric. the receipt says they did power-steering work. yeah my ass. as it turns out i paid about $2000 for a job they cannot complete and it could only be fixed by subaru technicians. i even got a few other opinions from other car technicians and they all let me know this was a job for subaru. these people are incompetent and would be just as useful selling weight-loss pills on shein read more

I made an appointment and went in for a simple oil change. I would've done it myself if I didn't live in the NAU dorms and had the tools necessary. My tire pressure light was also on, and they told me that it should be no problem and my car should be ready in about an hour, maybe a little longer. THREE AND A HALF hours later, after the usual garage sales pitches and recommendations, I finally got my car back -- with the tire pressure light still on. I was too irritated to go back, so I filled my tires myself. Would not recommend. read more
