I PRAY the owner of this franchise location sees this!!! Three weeks ago, the Big O Tires on Memorial Blvd in Murfreesboro, Tennessee damaged two of my wheels, and the situation has only continued to get worse. I was informed the wheels cannot be repaired, meaning they effectively ruined a discontinued staggered set of Mustang rims that cannot be replaced. Since the incident, there has been zero proactive communication regarding the claim or any resolution. I have had to be the one constantly reaching out for updates, and even then I receive little to no response. The store manager, Emmanuel, has repeatedly made me feel like I am inconveniencing him for simply wanting answers about property they damaged. Because of that, I have had to go above the store level and speak with Caesar, the district manager, just to get basic communication and accountability. That should never be necessary after a business causes this kind of damage. Instead of taking ownership of the issue and keeping me informed, this location has handled the entire situation with poor customer service, lack of urgency, and no accountability. I understand this may be a franchise location, but the experience at this store has completely ruined the reputation of the company for me, my family, and my friends. I will never use this business again and will absolutely never recommend them to anyone. read more

Had a slow leak in my tire, stopped by to fix the leak and get a quote on two new tires for the front. They quickly plugged the leak, gave me a quote for the 2 I asked about and when I went to pay, they said the plug was free! Wow... who does that? This past weekend after getting serviced recently (Tire rotation, balance and alignment) I lost a wheel and almost a second rear tire on I-65. Stay away! They actually put the wrong type of tires on my jeep. They put all terrane tires on my Jeep when I had highway tires. This made my car shake terribly. Best and most honest shop! Everyone should get their car serviced hear. Angel, Jon, Jonathan, Eric, and all of the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and are simply good people. I had my tires rotated here a while back on my 2017 Toyota Prius and lost the lock nut. They happily ordered me a new one since they were responsible for the most lug nut. My car was making a funny sound and I was too busy to get it checked by my local shop. Stopped at the closet location I could find near my son's camp and boy did I make the right choice. The shop was welcoming and took my information down and Vivian (my car) back with little wait. Adam was very patient and helpful in trying to get as much information from non-car smart me. While I sat in the lobby mooching off their free Wi-Fi and getting working done, Mike worked his magic. He found the issue in no time and fixed it right away. It was a simple fix. My favorite, no hustle and bustle, trying to upsell add on services. Just looked at what I asked and made sure I was safe to get back on the road. How many shops have you been to where they do that?! From my conversation with Angel, I knew that I found the right place. The team at Big O Tires literally felt like family. I needed to get an alignment for my Suburban. I called around to the regular places and they were all booked solid. I had been to this location before it was Big O Tires and was not impressed at all; but the Big O folks are wonderful and you should check them out! My Suburban went in at 8 am and by 8:30 am it was fully aligned and I just took it out for a test drive- at 90 mph it tracks perfectly down the highway! But here's the part that impressed me most. I arrived at 7:30 and had to wait till they opened at 8:00. The managers had a team meeting with the crew and had bought them all breakfast! Also there was a young lady on the crew and another as a manager. I really liked how well they treated their crew and customers. Keep up the great work!!!! P.S - The Hunter wheel alignment system they had was VERY IMPRESSIVE! They mounted big sensors on each wheel and the big computer screens let you see the work progress right from the waiting area which had great chairs, good coffee, and immaculately clean. Purchased a Groupon for a full synthetic oil change. That was the only thing I wanted. I did not need any additional services done to my car. However, they took it upon themselves to change out the oil filter (despite me changing it myself to a brand new one a week ago and it not needing to be changed) and charged me for it. In addition, they rotated my tires. None of these things were discussed with me prior to being done. I did not approve them doing it nor did I want them doing it.... Now my tire balance is off despite it being newly done at discount tires prior to coming in and I was charged for a service I did not ask for. I'm having to take it back to discount tire so they can fix their mistake. It's not hard to communicate with your customers! Would NOT recommend this place. read more

I took my truck to Big O Tire on Memorial in Murfreesboro,Tn for a simple alignment and oil change. I dropped the vehicle off and went home. About 6 to 7 hrs later I called to get the status of my vehicle and he said it was all done and I can come pick it up. I get to Big O Tire and he tells me that they weren't able to do my alignment because of some power issues they had that day but that the oil change was done. Tried to get me to pay for the alignment that day but have me come back the following day to actually do the work. Something just didn't add up to me so when I got home I decided to check under my truck and look at my oil filter. Sad to say but the oil filter was the one that was already on from the last place I had it done. I then checked my oil and seen that it wasn't fresh either. The person who checked me out and who apparently done the work on my vehicle was a man named Jonathan. People, please do yourself a favor and do not take your cara to Big O Tire under any circumstances. I've been warned before about this place but I personally never had a problem that I knew about on the few times I've been there. I would only imagine they weren't changing my oil in the past too. They went under new management or something along those lines a couple years back because of other issues they had. Things apparently haven't changed.. DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS OR OWNER! In the past month or two i have spent over 2k with these people. Last time we picked up the vehicle a couple weeks ago it was making a different sound that it wasn't making when we dropped it off... so we took it back in AGAIN this past Monday and said it needed to be checked and the oil change, that they were supposed to do the previous time, needed to be done... they said ok they would check it out. Finally after not hearing anything i called them on wednesday and the lady said that it needed a driveshaft ALL THE SUDDEN and that they were going to get pricing and call me on it. Never got that call and so this morning (3/14/22) i decided to just go pick my vehicle up. I walked in and there was one lady helping another gentleman and she looked up and asked what i needed...i proceeded to tell her everything and that i just wanted my keys and i would go... she told me to hold on a minute while she helped him...15 minutes later i had had enough...i told her to just find my keys so i could leave and she said he was there before me...i said. "had he been waiting a week?" she told me if i was going to raise my voice to take it outside...i walked out but on my way out i said, " i just want my f****** keys" She said, "there is a child in here, leave"... and i did... and she was correct about that ONE THING...i was in the wrong saying that one word. I came back in 5 minutes later and was helping another lady that had heard everything from before. The worker took a call and walked in the garage area to talk... about me... the two ladies and i started talking and the one had her own problems with them...i told what had happened and the worker walked back in and saw me talking to them and looked at me and said, "what was that?" and i said, "i was telling them what's going on!" She said, "well i didn't know anything about all this so don't shoot the messenger... all i know it's that they have ordered the driveshaft and should be in shortly"...i said. "i didn't ask for it to be ordered... because nobody every called me in an entire week to tell me anything... the only reason i knew anything is because i called"... she handed me my keys as fast as she could and i left. 10 minutes later i get a call from a private number..i answer and it is Michael the owner... he asked if it was me and then told me i cussed his employer out (mind you it was one word) and that i needed to get my vehicle off his property immediately or he would have it towed (it was already gone when i left 10 minutes before that)... told me i lost him business and then he started cussing me and screaming with every word he could think of... mother******, c**t, and so on, telling me never to come back on his property and that he would meet me anywhere to f*** me up...i couldn't help laugh at this point wondering how this idiot ever made a business work with his demeanor. Great service and people. We ordered a set of 4 tires online and set an. appointment. When we arrived to drop our car off Gary helped walk us through our selection and provided another option that was already in stock, less expensive, quieter and with a longer tread warranty. While we were there we opted to get a full set on our other vehicle too. And even though it was close to closing, the crew stayed late and got both cars done at once. Had a slow leak on my tire and work late so needed somewhere open on weekends. I called this place last Friday to ask about getting a tire patched Saturday morning. They answered on the first call and told me to get in early since the weekends can be busy. I arrived promptly at 8AM and was greeted with friendly service. My car was completely fixed and they patched the tire for FREE. I asked why and they said patching is free (maybe just for first time customers). This was truly a great experience and my tire has been doing great since. I cannot say that I have had a better customer service situation when it comes to my vehicle. I was happy to know this place was owned by veterans and will definitely be doing business with them in the future. read more

Went in today to get tires for my car and was given a decent quote so I went ahead and did it. After sitting there for about an hour and a half they came and said my car needed brakes. I went ahead and told them to do that as well. After sitting there for about a while longer I asked again and was told they were sending someone to Auto Zone in Nashville to pick up the parts for my brake job. At that point I had been there for multiple hours already. I understand a place being busy and it taking a while but why would you offer to do a job you don't have the parts for, especially without mentioning they don't have the parts in stock. I should have been advised that they don't have the parts in and asked If wanted to wait for them to drive to Nashville to secure the parts. When picking the car up the gentleman I dealt with was not very apologetic about the situation.. So to sum it all up the prices aren't terrible but they apparently have to go fetch the parts from Autozone, which is what I expect from an individual doing my brakes but not a business.. read more

Most reviews are over 6 months to a year, things went down hill since January, the change of management (3 new ones) since they fire or the first one quit in January 2019 has taken a hit on this place. Amazing service. This morning I caught a nail in my truck's tire. Called Firestone, who told me I'd have to drop the vehicle off and they could get to it by the end of the day. Instead, I brought the truck to Big O. Thirty minutes later, the hole was plugged. And they didn't even charge me. I will be going here for my next set of tires. read more

We went for an oil change and were told we needed two new tires by Brandi Stanfield. We new we could get them cheaper at Sam's Club, but we really wanted to support BOT because they advertise as a veteran-owned business. We're there for three hours and during that time they discover we need another part. A little later they say we need something else. Our oil change had grown into a $500, three hour event. We shrugged it off and drove away. When we got onto the road our van started swaying back and forth like we were riding a horse. We turned right around and went back. Jason Albertson, the manager, took it for a test drive and noticed the issue within seconds. He explained we had a bad tire and showed me the bad spot. I asked how they missed it when our van had been in three of their bays and our tires had been taken off to be rotated. He didn't have an answer. 45 minutes later he ended up just re-rotating our tires (Which probably nullified the alignment I had payed for) and telling us he'd take care of us when we came in to replace the remaining tires. I could have replaced all four tires for the price we replaced two and our van still doesn't run as smoothly as before we visited BOT. Whether they're scammers just seeing how much they could take us for or they're inept at diagnosing tire issues, why would I go back? read more

My family has been a long-time customer of Big O Tires in Murfreesboro and the unprofessional manner in which a situation has been handled regarding my step-son is unfathomable to me. My step-son had an oil change on March 9, 2020, a mere 10 days later his oil plug fell out. Thankfully, he pulled over as soon as it happened and the only loss was his turbo. I contacted Big O about the situation and have had nothing but a runaround since March 23, 2020. No contact from the owners, no resolution from the corporate level (after I was told to call corporate). I have submitted documentation with receipts and even a narrative from the dealership that repaired the turbo that the reason the turbo needed to be replaced was because it had been starved of oil. I have documentation of every communication and feel we have been very patient. How do you run a business and have zero customer relations skills?? Accidents happen all the time, but to not even communicate with a customer is again unfathomable. read more
