Extremely Dangerous Experience!!!!! I am extremely disappointed and shaken by my experience with Big O Tires. My vehicle was serviced here, and after the work was completed, a tire was not properly secured. While I was driving on the freeway, the tire actually came off. This put me and everyone around me in an incredibly dangerous situation and could have resulted in a serious accident or loss of life. I honestly feel very fortunate that I survived what happened. Something as basic and critical as properly securing a tire should NEVER be overlooked. This wasn't just poor customer service or an inconvenience -- it was a serious safety issue that put my life at risk. I am sharing this review because I want other customers to be aware of what happened to me. Please think twice before trusting this location with your vehicle and, if you do have work done, make absolutely sure everything has been properly checked and secured before driving away. read more

I went I for a simple oil change on my older car and was VERY CLEAR from the start on that. I am fully aware that my car might need tires and other maintenance that I clearly voiced to Sarf that I trust other places to handle those services. Despite making that clear Sarf the service rep continued trying to sell me additional services and even questioned whether I was going elsewhere because I was being cheap. Omg lol I also called ahead of time and was told oil change would be quick. Once I handed keys over to Sarf I was told it would take over an hour. When I questioned the difference from what I was told on the phone, Sarf responded rudely , " I can't have them do an oil change in 20 minutes". I know I wasn't at Jiffy Lube but there was a much more professional way to say it. The entire interaction left me very uncomfortable and felt because I am a woman with an older car there was an assumption that I didn't know about cars or wouldn't recognize unnecessary recommendations. I know MY VEHICLE (had for 22 years and in good running condition), I know what it needs, and where I choose to have those honest services performed. A basic oil change SHOULD NOT leave a customer feeling pressured, talked down to, or worried about what their car suddenly needs in the middle of an oil change. I'm sure SARF would NOT have spoken to a man the way he spoke to me. At no point was I rude. POS customer service skills. Glad I left. read more

Was denied service, sat in lobby for an hour, only for the clerk to offer to give me a quote for new tires because mine were bald. 15 years auto experience here... Story up front is that I called in advance and offered to make an appointment for an alignment. Rep told me to come in and we can get an alignment done on the spot. I show up less than ten minutes and am told it won't take longer than an hour. Leasurly for another alignment to be done in front of me as well... Ok.. I sat for over an hour for the rep to come back, tell me that he can give me a quote on new tires because my fronts were bald. I knew immediately that this was a con. So, I went home, pulled out my tire tread depth gauge, and no where was the wear bars less than 1mm less. That's about 2000 more miles for me since this is my off-road car, about 4000 miles for the average person. Attached image is of my current tires to show the wear bar (when that goes to zero depth you replace the tire) and to demonstrate that the tires didn't need to be replaced because they weren't bald. I'm more upset about my time than anything else. Secondly, I don't like being screwed. If time is of concern and you value your dollar, DO NOT go here. read more

I've been going to Big O for all my tire and alignment needs for the last 4 years, and service is always top notch and nothing short of amazing! Whether it's this location in Corona or the Chino Hills location, the managers and technicians were always very attentive and careful with my vehicles. Delivery time is reasonable and when promised, and pricing is fair and competitive. I can always trust I'm not getting ripped off here (and many other places will!). Yes, you can get cheap tires from the clubs, but I have found that the quality just wasn't there. I got much longer life from Big O's tires than the clubs. Plus, getting an appointment was hassle free and much easier! I never thought I'd ever rave about a tire shop; but here I am, singing my 5-star praises for this place!! Just got my 2nd set of tires from Big O's today, with brand new shinny brakes. This place is a straight grift. Broke my TPMS sensor to try and up sell me, stated it was faulty before tire installation. They also quote different prices to different customers. I got quoted $40 installation fee meanwhile a customer called in and the guy quoted him $35 a tire. This place is shady. read more

This is my go to place now. My dealer decided to make me pay for a rental, so I was done going there and waiting 3 weeks for an appointment, and having to go during the work week. I had a rough week, and then the tire sensor goes off flashing on the freeway- just like it did last time my tire ran over a giant nail, so I freaked out. Sarf listened to my concern, and let me know my tire wasn't flat, and it was the weather or the sensor, and I was able to take it in on Saturday to have it taken care of. Dishonest! If you want an honest mechanic, do not go here! They will break things on your car and then claim you did it or it is not their fault! They take advantage of young adults who they presume don't know better. We made an appointment to take our corolla in for an oil change, we have only ever gone to this location since owning the car for oil changes. After being there for 40 minutes, they tell my fiance the plug AND pan are stripped and will need to be replaced for $511! If you know anything about oil changes, you would know this had to be the mechanics error! Bob, who im guessing is the manager of the sixth street location tried to play it off like it was our fault when we have only ever taken the car there. After back and forth, they offered to cover labor, and we would pay for parts. It was not until I contacted corporate that I received a call saying it would be taken care of, and I would only be paying for the initial oil change. This was such a hassle, Bob was very rude and likes to talk over you, and I would NEVER recommend this business to anyone. They only care about making a sale. They also made sure to harass me about canceling my claim with corporate. (All of this happened after we showed the 50% off coupon, I dont know if that's a coincidence). read more

I had a very frustrating experience with this tire shop. I went back twice to have an alignment issue fixed, and the problem was never resolved. On my third visit, I decided not to deal with them anymore because it was clear they were not going to fix the issue properly. I paid $139 for alignment services that were not done correctly, and I ended up having to pay again at another shop just to get the alignment fixed the right way. The second shop immediately identified and corrected the problem, which shows this should have been handled properly the first time. To make matters worse, I contacted corporate to file a complaint. They told me someone would follow up, but I never received a return call or any response. Overall, I wasted time and money and was left disappointed with both the store and corporate customer service. I would not recommend this location based on my experience. read more

I went in for an alignment, then their tech call me in to show me that there nuts that was completely missing, wanting me to do over $800 in repairs and I said I don't have the money and tell them to pull my car off the rack. I drove there with no issue except the alignment is a little off, I drove off no more than a quarter mile and my wheel came off, cause me have to tow my car, these people are not just evil, they risk other people lives just to make sure read more

I went to Big O to repair a punctured tire on my wife's 2016 Honda CR-V. Sarf Bawa, the manager, greeted me and we went to my car. After examining the tire we both agreed the tire should be replaced because my wife had inadvertently driven on it, and the inside sidewall was scored beyond repair. We also agreed to perform a wheel alignment because of the wear patterns on both front tires. Sarf ordered the tire at 4:30 in the afternoon on Friday and it was at the store first thing in the morning the next day. Big O had everything completed by 11:00AM Saturday. The whole experience went smoothly! I feel I paid a fair price for the work performed. I intend on using Big O again in the future for my car servicing needs. Thank you, Sarf! read more
