Realizing the size of the job to pull the engine and send it off they worked with me on the labor cost. It was so good, I thought I would go back for an oil change and 30 point inspection. However, this time I was unpleasantly surprised. They told me when I dropped off the car it would be $127 so I said no problem. When I returned it magically went up to $192! When I inquired into why they hemmed and hawed until it finally came out that they broke my oil filter cap. They claimed "those break all the time." I pointed out I have gotten my car serviced many times at the dealer (2017 car) and not once have they broke it. No response. They claimed they replaced it "with a better one." So you charged me $68 for a $30 ish aluminum cap that YOU broke. I really hate when people talk to women like they don't know anything about cars. I know they were price gouging me and I don't appreciate being talked to like I was an idiot. I have grown up going to car shows and working with my dad on his classic cars and I don't appreciate this behavior. I will not be returning. The only reason they get 3 stars is for the previous experiences.

I'd recommend anyone with a car, especially a German car to give his service a chance and he will not disappoint. He'll double check what it is you're requesting and then he'll break down why each service item is required upfront in-person with schematics and samples. And the value you're getting on top of the great service is unbeatable. In my personal situation, I saved 50% from what my local dealership was charging. I have a Volkswagen Golf but I've seen Mercedes, BMW, Subaru, Audi all in their lot.

I've been meaning to write this review for a while, but life has been busy. As a single woman and a…read moremother, it can be really hard to find a mechanic you can trust without feeling like you're being taken advantage of. Unfortunately, that has been my experience more times than I'd like to admit. The first shop I called gave me a bad feeling right away based on their customer service, but I still made an appointment. Afterward, I checked their Yelp reviews and was shocked by how many negative ones they had. That didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a second quote. I already had a good idea of what was wrong with my car based on past experience. When I called this shop, the difference was immediate. They were professional, respectful, and didn't argue with me or try to upsell me on unnecessary repairs. I specifically looked for negative reviews--and there were none. I dropped my car off early that morning, and they gave me a clear time estimate for when it would be ready. They even sent photos of the issue. While I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, the fact that they were transparent enough to share images--knowing I could easily research them--told me everything I needed to know about their honesty. I don't remember the technician's name, but they took great care of my foreign car, Lexi, and I'm beyond relieved not to be driving around with grinding rotors anymore. I truly appreciate their professionalism and the way they treated me as a customer. Every single mother needs a mechanic she can feel safe with--and I'm so grateful I found one. Thank you all for your help.

The quality of his work is excellent, the paint matched perfectly. He vacuumed the inside of the car and fixed some loose trim around a window that I was not even aware of. Mr. Eddie seems to love his work and it shows. He is very respectful of disabled people and women and will not take advantage of them at all, in-line so many others in the industry. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

The day I brought my car to him, it was raining so he suggested we not try top speeds in the rain and asked if I could leave the car with him. The next day he text me immediately to update me on the condition of the car and what needed to be done. One issue was the front tires needed replacing (they don't do tires) so he gave me recommendations on where to get cost effective replacements and advised me on other possible replacements. When I inquired around what could wait vs. immediate needs he was transparent and told me what was a now fix even if it didn't put money in his pocket (like the tires). I'd definitely trust him with any future work. He seems to care more about your safety than just making a buck. Never tried to upsell me on anything and explained each step. Transparent. Ethical. Fair pricing.

Several friends/locals suggested Albright; not many places do alignments nowadays, or so I found out. I made an appointment, which was just a few days out. I appeared at just the right time and they took my car in immediately. They said it'd be about an hour, so I sat in their huge luxurious waiting area (kidding, but there is plenty of room compared to most other small businesses). (Tip - Bring something to read to kill the time.) Less than an hour later I was done. They gave me the paperwork and explained everything on it -- numbers both before and after the alignment. Our alignment cost about $83 or so for a smaller car. Per some buddies that's a pretty good deal. I am happy to say that forever more when we need work like this I have a great go-to place.

We came back again to get oil change and new tires that not many places carry. They had some in stock and was able to do all that in 1.5 - 2 hours. They have couches, water, and vending machine available if you choose to wait for your car. Restroom is available. Very clean waiting area, which is always a plus. One of the downsides is that they don't have wifi so you will just have to use data if you are playing on your phone. They seem like very honest people, not trying to oversell. They looked at my tires and was going to recommend that I didn't need to change them until they realized what year they were. For safety sake, we decided to get new ones. The oil change fee was also very reasonable. It's a bit out of the way for us, but we've been looking for a new auto shop that is honest with reasonable fees, and I think we found one here! The only inconvenience is they don't do oil change over the weekend, which makes planning a bit difficult. Larry was the one who helped us out and he was awesome!
