Yikes, I know, but it was her money. The next most expensive item was a set of Aura Buds TWS Earbuds my oldest daughter bought for $8. But it still has cool stuff for affordable prices on many items. The t-shirts were definitely picked over. Several aisles and/or sections were disorganized and rummaged through by other shoppers. The worst part was checking out... a young female employee checked out about half of my items then left the rest to me. Just go back to having cashiers if you're that worried about stolen merchandise. It was okay, but doubt I will be back unless the kids bring their own money.

We found a couch we liked that was on clearance because it had been discontinued. The clearance price was around $2,200, but because they were running customer appreciation weekend promotions, we asked what the best price would be. The salesman told us to make an offer and said he would take it to his manager. We explained that we did not want to make an unreasonable offer and asked if the manager could simply provide their best price. Instead, the salesman repeatedly pushed us to give him a number. When we finally offered $1,200, he responded with "that's kind of low" in a dismissive and unprofessional tone. That was frustrating, especially since we had already made it clear that we did not want to lowball them. He later came back and said the lowest they could do was $1,950. Since we had been told to make an offer, we believed there was room for negotiation. However, when we mentioned that we had found a very similar couch elsewhere for around $1,500, he told us to go buy that one. The tone and delivery came across as rude and made us feel like our business was not valued. The furniture itself appears to be good quality, but the customer service experience was disappointing enough that I do not plan to return. A large furniture purchase should feel professional, helpful, and customer-focused, not uncomfortable or dismissive. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to recommend Furniture Row, especially when other stores like Ashley Furniture provided a much better customer service experience

However, if you're accustomed to searching through piles of random objects at places like thrift stores and secondhand stores, you may enjoy going on the hunt at this store too. They buy an array of pre-owned items here too. But worth noting that if you sell here in the morning then realize you forgot something and come back, they will not buy from you again in the same day. They lose stars for that inconvenience factor, too. I would imagine that based on need, they will buy anything that they would sell. I've personally sold Magic the Gathering cards here before. Value given in store credit is higher than cash, but be prepared to feel ripped off either way. Prices on used items are decent, but on new it can often be huge compared to buying online ($60 vs $35 in one instance). This is otherwise a great store to burn time in reading and browsing.

They sell fake gemstones and minerals that are priced ridiculously high for no reason. Dyed agate bookends that read, $75 for what it being dyed or it being "crazy laced"? Either way, dyed agate isn't worth a penny in the geology world. I've also seen geodes priced at $200 for a small quartz and calcite filled again both specimens aren't worth anything really. However, that's Marshalls ripping off naive people again. Another thing is the fact that there's either glass, fake plants, or lamps as decor is a joke. The lamp are ehh and cost way too much. The glass again is uhhh ok looking and the fake plants are ugh why would I spend this much for plants that don't give off anything for this price might as well go to the Dollar Tree or Home Depot. I feel as if this Marshalls caters to a specific crowd of people. Moreover, I don't like the fact that the customers don't know how to be respectful to others by saying, "excuse me". It baffles me that the aisles are already tiny and that someone rudely walks in front of you or into your personal space without using their proper manners. Additionally, the employees are fairly nice, but customer service is always inconsistent. First time, I shopped here I got a cashier that didn't greet me. Second time, I got a cashier that was bubbly. Actually the only good that Home Goods has is that you can get some good quality items on the clearance section. I found a fruit basket, silverware place set (that broke after two days of using) and my sister got a nice faux fur rug.
