You never know what you're going to see "New" that came in. Sure, they have a lot of the same stuff that comes in over and over, but there's always something NEW stocked in between all that older stuff sitting there on the shelves. Place looked like hell, trashy under previous Management. New Management and new set of Employees has really cleaned it up. Worth a walk thru every couple of weeks just to see what all has come in recently. Do Recommend. At the very least, stop by and just walk thru it. I called Big Lots to determine if they would replace my couch for a proper one. They were unable to due to no other couches available. So then I called the manufacturing company and I went on a wild goose chase for customer service and never heard from them. Needless to say, I'm not saying Big Lots is terrible, but I would've appreciated more effort to afford me the new couch I paid $600 dollars for, instead of sub par quality. TL;DR I paid $600 for a brand new couch and I received a damaged couch instead and was unable to get a replacement.

They've always taken my old fixtures, light bulbs, and other home repair related items without much question. The employees are all always friendly and helpful. I've never bought anything here, and until prices go down or quality comes up, I don't see that happening.

I stopped by there with my dad because, as far as he knew, they were one of the few places in Lubbock that sold tripe. The Good: From what I understand the tripe was quite cheap relative to other places that sold it. They had a good variety of Mexican foods as well as produce used in Mexican cooking. There was even a guy out front selling snow cones! The Bad: The place is fairly small and the carts are regular sized shopping carts. It's hard to maneuver in such a tight spot. If you're not used to seeing some Mexican crazy you should definitely prepare yourself. Overall: I would absolutely go there again. The prices were cheap and they had many Mexican foods that you'd have no chance of finding at Lowe's or United.
