It's a eclectic mixture of antiques, modern handmade items (like bowties, children's toys, jewelry, goat's milk soap, and beard supplies), and items that are repurposed antiques with a fresh spin (we saw a bed lamp made from vintage siren - very cool!). If you're in downtown Lubbock, this is definitely a place to stop by! I called and spoke with Irasella (may have spelled that wrong) and she found what she thought would work and sent me a pic. I was on my way home from Dallas to NM and would be driving through LBK. It was perfect, but I was a little afraid that I might not be there before they closed. She said to call if that was the case. As I drove, Mapquest put my arrival at 5:37. I didn't want to make anyone wait that long, so I called and asked if I could pay for it and then come get it later in the week. She asked if it would mean a special trip from NM and it would have so I asked if I could pay for shipping. She said she would run an errand at 5:00, but would be back for me at 5:30. She was there and had even found another option that might work with several extra accessories. I bought what I thought would make a boy with a VERY specific Halloween request happy and while she rang me up, I browsed. The place is darling! Very eclectic variety and all very appealing. And with customer service like this, I'm going to come back when I have more time. Irasella saved the day!

It was easy to wear a mask and socially distance inside since we went at times that weren't busy (weekdays in the early afternoon). Once you walk in, you choose what you want to paint - they have a wide variety of clay objects such as plates, cups, animal figurines, objects relevant to upcoming holidays (like little pumpkins around Halloween and Christmas ornaments). The price of each object is written on the bottom. I painted small animal figures each time, and they ranged from $10-12. Then they give you brushes and a paper plate of paint colors which you choose, and you sit at a table and paint away! All the workers here have been very pleasant and helpful, we would definitely go back!
