Found The Sewing Studio and ordered a yard of the fabric. I called the store on Monday morning to see if I could pay to have the fabric sent overnight so that I could get the quilt top completed. It was donated to our QOV group with the request we help get the three completed and sent back to be quilted. She will then send it on to a quilt store in Maui to be distributed to those in need. They sent it to me overnight and didn't charge me extra. I live in California and won't have the pleasure of visiting their shop but will definitely purchase more fabric on line, without the extra shipping requests. Many, many thanks to the wonderful women who helped me divert a disaster.

Aside from one staff member who greeted us and later asked "Are y'all ready to check out?", we weren't asked if we needed assistance let alone acknowledged by the other employees. That lone employee, however, acted like she was going to check us out then led us to a self-checkout. Even my daughters noted this. Lol.
