The store is filled with vintage treasures for all occasions from different eras - sleepwear, formal wear, leisure wear including Hawaiian muumuus. Also shoes, hats, jewelry, and costumes. Don't miss out! This is a very special shop with a charming owner who was incredibly helpful. If I lived here, I'd be a regular! read more

AMAZING!!!!!! The owner of this shop will provide her expertise in finding the right costume for you no matter the particular colour, style, and even era. If you're traveling from out of state or town or even live here, I truly recommend coming into this shop. I've never had such a great interaction with a owner who entirely wants to be kind and helpful to all of the needs to everyone who steps in. As someone who has traveled all over the country to find a great vintage spot, here it is. Prices might not be in your range? Guess what, she will do a layaway process or find every option to make sure an item can go to a great home like yours. This is a definite spot to come back to and a true vintage store with wonderful prices. read more

I absolutely love the Vintage Rose! I lived in Lubbock about 10 years ago and literally spent days visiting the shop and finding great vintage pieces. Cynthia has an array of one-of-a-kind pieces that come from all over the world. This is the absolute best vintage store I have ever visited. I have great memories of this shop and still call on them to this day for special photo shoots and events. I own jewelry, scarves, dresses, and even concert attire that I found at the Vintage Rose. A must see, even if you are only passing through Lubbock! read more

We came here in mid-September (2025) for supplies for my daughter's science project. Aside from one staff member who greeted us and later asked "Are y'all ready to check out?", we weren't asked if we needed assistance let alone acknowledged by the other employees. That lone employee, however, acted like she was going to check us out then led us to a self-checkout. Even my daughters noted this. Lol. The self-checkout screen & scanner was not particularly easy to use... it was dreadfully slow that morning. Fun Halloween decor on display. Do NOT go here. My organization, which is NON-PROFIT and fundraises for children with cancer,…read morebought some backup costumes here in case the ones we had ordered did not come in time for our event. We made sure to ask the store employees and confirm that we could return them. They told us that we should not worry, that if we brought it in 30-day, unworn, in the bag, and with the receipt as proof, they would accept the return. We came to return the costumes today, only 11 days later and they told us we can only exchange, not return. Apparently, they had a policy change last week and, therefore, WE should have known that. How?! We were told multiple times and with confidence that we could return with no problem. However, they said sorry and that was a common issue that their employees were spreading false information. How is that OUR fault? As a respectful company, they should have stuck to their word and owned up to their employee's mistakes. Either by letting us know about the policy change prior to our purchase or by accepting the items. We would have not purchased it if they had told us the right information. We have no use for these costumes or anything they sell. It was hundreds of dollars that we are now having to spend TWICE, which was not in our budget. Ridiculous and disrespectful.
