Chicken Alfredo Pizza
Rachel C.

This was a recommendation from a local conch and boy we are sooo happy we listened to her advice! A late evening running around all day, had us ordering pizza and salad to take back to the hotel. A Spinach Gorgonzola Salad was bursting with flavors. Garlic knots were the old fashioned perfect app We had one pizza ALL THE WAY. Yum!! And one that was Chicken Alfredo. Good. Excuse my photos, I had to fight hungry children to sneak in some pics

Baked Ziti with added chicken, side salad and garlic knots

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I'm visiting from out of town and found this Pizzeria that delivers close to our hotel via Yelp. There was a big selection to choose from on the menu, definitely something for everyone. We used their online order link for baked ziti with added chicken, side salad and Margherita pizza. Was able to pay & tip online. It gave a 45 min estimate for delivery time which I thought was reasonable. Imagine my surprise when 20 minutes later I received a call that our driver was in the hotel lobby with our order. Everything was delicious and both the pizza & baked ziti were still as hot as if they just came out of the oven. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant!

This place has much to recommend it. I actually like the fact that it's in new town. After a week in Old Town I welcomed the quieter atmosphere. The food is delicious and the portions are massive. It advertises as "the place where locals eat" and I can see why. That being said they are a bit on the pricey side considering there is no table service. Still a place I would go back to for a decent pizza meal.

Stuffed john's pizza well done and l cannot believe how wonderful it is!! If you come to Key west and don't order from John's ???

We went to Antonios on June 11th and went to sit at the bar. The bartender named BELEN, put down…read moremenus and we started to review. She then came back and very rudely stated "oh that menu's not for you, it's for locals and you aren't a local". She then snatched it away and gave us a new one. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, some calamari and bread. The bartender was not only ignoring us but the rest of the bar as she proceeded to chat with three ladies at the end of the bar. Our food sat on the bar for 10 minutes before she finally got around to delivering it to us. By that time the calamari was cold and not edible. I called her out on being rude and she proceeded to argue with us. Apparently she didn't get the memo that her job is dependent upon tourists. And btw, we live in Florida so not that far away. I have never been treated so poorly and insulted by someone's tone and demeanor than by this woman. My advise, don't sit at the bar or don't waste your time at all. Clearly they are not tourist friendly. I wish I could comment on the food but we never got that far.

The food was simple, slightly bland, but did the job. The service was fast and easy, although it…read morefelt a bit skimpy. For example, charging you for bread and when you order the Barada, you don't get any cracker or bread to go with it. There's no easy parking. It's better to take a cab here. The inside is clean, welcoming and romantic. It's quiet and has a nice chic feel.

We came across Blackfin Bistro on our last night in Key West. If we had discovered it earlier in…read morethe trip, it likely would have earned a repeat visit. Food Blackfin is a beer and wine restaurant, so no cocktails. I'm not a big drinker, but I do enjoy when a place offers creative house cocktails. Since I'm not much of a wine or beer person either, I was initially a bit disappointed. That changed quickly when I saw they served Stiegl Grapefruit Radler. That alone felt like a small vacation in a glass. The menu offers plenty of choices to satisfy almost any palate. We weren't especially hungry, so we opted for a lighter approach: * Grilled Octopus * Tempura Green Beans * Spinach and Goat Cheese Salad Everything we ordered was very good. The salad was fresh and thoughtfully balanced, with bacon, goat cheese, apple, and honey bringing layers of flavor. It was served with a crusty baguette. We don't normally eat bread, but this was a welcome addition. The grilled octopus was tender, flavorful, and served hot. Always a good sign. The tempura items were nicely executed, lightly battered and not greasy. The green beans were crisp with delicate seasoning, served alongside a balsamic glaze dipping sauce that complemented without overpowering. Service Service was attentive throughout the evening. We never felt forgotten, and we never felt rushed. The pacing was natural and relaxed. Thank you, Gabor. Atmosphere The indoor dining area feels quiet and intimate. The outdoor patio in the back leans more casual. Surrounded by a tall fence and shaded by trees that form natural canopies, it offers a sense of privacy that can be hard to find in many of the more open-air restaurants along Duval Street. Even though this was a lighter, abbreviated meal for us, my sense is that Blackfin would be an excellent choice for a full dinner. We would definitely plan to return on our next visit to Key West.

Highly recommend their Diablo Burger, croquettes, tempura green beans and of course their creme brûlée is the best on the island as well as their carrot cake. Plan to arrive when they open, or make reservations. Great ambience and crowd. Thanks again for a wonderful visit.
