Love the off-menu vegan burger - Malibu burger with no Mayo/butter. It's a unique patty - not Impossible, Beyond - much better/healthier. The fries are always good and a solid bar selection. The ambiance is 1950s diner. Limited indoor seating, but they have games out back to keep the kids active while you eat and enjoy a beautiful evening in Cave Creek. read more

What a fun spot right in the heart of Cave Creek! Tons of outdoor seating, great burgers, and plenty of games to entertain the kids. All the staff are very friendly and our food came out quickly. Big Earl's doesn't have a review from me!?! Yelp - I'm not so sure about this Anyways, this such a fun place to go! Usually like to grab some delicious food and I hear the adult milkshakes are delightful. I haven't tried yet but the post about the peaches n cream and orange creamsicle They have movie nights which is super cool and have that as a family to do (hopefully shortly). I really enjoy the style and outdoor seating. This place is so good, that you should expect a wait. Maybe a ploy to make you hungrier as you smell and see all the food going out to guests lol. So far I haven't had a bad burger and the seasoned or Cajun fries are a must for me. Certainly one of Cave Creeks gems and best burgers around! read more

Delicious classic food with a throwback ambiance. We enjoy going here after playing golf. The food is good. The people are friendly and the menu has plenty to choose from. It's a go to for anyone looking for a nostalgic diner experience. This is especially true of you go to the Carefree location because the whole town is a throwback. We'll be back soon. read more

Food is greasy, expensive and nothing to talk about. I don't know what's the fuss about this place, so we finally went there and decided to try it. Seems like they want to push their "Adult Milk Shake" on you, but burger was tasteless with some spicy sauce which neither complimented the meat not hid the fact that there was no flavor to the meat at all. This is our first meal here post-COVID. The weather finally cooled off enough to sit outside. They limit the people inside ordering which is good. I had the chicken finger meal and my wife had the BBQ burger with onion rings. We sat facing the street with the misters on. When the food arrived, it was too hot to eat. Always a good sign. Extremely friendly dinner vibe experience. The lady that took our order made us feel like an old friend. We both ordered burgers, one with tots and one with onion rings. The Burgers didn't look big but filled me up and we're tasty. More bun than I usually care for but meat was tasty. The tots were what you think of when you order tater tots but the onion rings were fantastic. We also had a vanilla shake but wouldn't order that again. All in all a nice spot to stop in for. Cute setup and vibe, but the burgers aren't anything to write home about. Came for one of the holiday drive in movies. Small, quaint parking lot and they show the movie on one of the smaller buildings in the lot. Great holiday concept. Had the mushroom and Swiss burger and the taco fries. We got the Gut Buster, Chicken Tenders, Cajun Fries, and Onion rings. The Gut Buster was surprisingly underwhelming. I thought the pork alone was good but the sandwich overall lacked flavor. I thought out of everything this would be the most flavorful burger. The tenders were alright they were very plan and we didn't really eat them because a piece and a tenant in it and turned us away from them. The Cajun fries stole the show, they were so good had a lot of flavor. We all ended up filling up on them. The onion rings were good too and were snacking on them as well. We celebrated my toddlers 3rd bday with friends and family here. Our Gordon Ramsey of a daughter CHOWED on chicken fingers - which she never does! Everyone (close to 20 People) had raving reviews of their food. It was an insanely cold night (last Friday the 18th) and staff were so awesome and went way beyond and above to help us be comfortable. We had asked if the heaters were available and They said there wasn't any propane. Next thing we know, some staff went and got some tanks filled! The burgers were fantastic - I get the name is " greasy eats " but the parm garlic fries for 7$ were awful, there was a pool of oil at the bottom , they were so saturated they were we and it was not edible . I've passed by this diner several times over the years and thought I'd give it a try. The patio is nice and big and you can sit outside and enjoy people watching. We loved the set up of this place! It used to be a gas station and is made over into the restaurant. The area where you order is pretty cramped, and they seem to take priority over drink orders rather than food. So the ordering process takes quite a while. The people ordering drinks essentially skip the line and walk up on the side to order, but use the same card reader so it delays the whole process. We opted to sit outside where they have super nice misters to keep the area cool. I am going to echo other people's reviews and say that the tables and chairs were FILTHY. I'm not sure the chairs have ever been wiped down, and the tables clearly are not wiped down between guests. Ours had crumbs, pieces of lettuce and mushrooms on it. The worst part to me was the bathrooms. They are some of the dirtiest that I've ever seen, and there was a baby changing table in the women's restroom that I wouldn't dare put a child on. I think there needs to be more regular cleaning of everything at this restaurant throughout the day. The food was delicious, but expensive. We got two burgers, two fries and a beer and it came to $45 after tip. When you order the normal burger, it's $8 and then they charge you $1 per add on item, so it gets expensive really quick. To me, $1 for a slice of American cheese is insane. But I opted to add cheese and a green Chile to mine and it was delicious! My husband got the Gut buster burger. He wasn't a fan of the BBQ meat that came on top of it, so he said he would opt for a normal burger next time. We also got the Cajun fries and taco fries. Both fries tasted exactly the same to us, but were good! This place looks like a sit down restaurant, but is essentially fast food in that you do not get service once you sit down. The girls delivered our burgers and we never saw them again. They do not have ketchup on the table and we would have liked more ketchup, but we didn't want to venture back into the long line to get more. Overall, this place has a lottttt of strikes for us. However, the food was pretty good. We would probably come back if we're craving a greasy burger, but definitely won't be regulars unless the prices dropped and the place was kept cleaner. There's something about a dirty restaurant that makes me question how clean their kitchen is. read more

Everyone was very friendly but the lines can get long because this place is fun and has good food. The bathrooms I believe are the only down side to this place. Maybe worth $50 for what we got. We came for the drive in movie. Mosquitos were so unbearable that we left. Better to try in November, great back patio for kids once the bug season has passed. This venue gets 4 stars for the location and fun. Located and the main drag through Cave Creek lends to great people and motorcycle watching. This area is Harley City in riding season and turns into party town. Earl's is a majority of patio seating and has some limited seating inside. They take take pride in ensuring that quality food goes out. The ordering system is counter based and they bring it out to you from there. I had the traditional breakfast today (boring! I know). It fit bill and was fantastic with the weather outside... 78 degrees this morning. They can seat many on the patio and the decor is a reflection back to the 50's and 60's genres. There are so many things to see and do up here, so after breakfast start exploring! Bartlett Lake is an awesome drive from here and showcases Arizona's beauty to visitors.
