I went to Big Earl's to grab a cheeseburger. The place is small with friendly staff. Mostly outside seating. The cheeseburger was juicy and cooked just right; medium rare. It was a good sized burger. The bun got exchanged to potato bread which tends to be a little more flavorful than your regular bun. A very satisfying lunch. Napkins needed for the juicy tendencies of the meat. Parking in back of the restaurant.

Friendly greeting as you first walk in. Nice, old school feel, Hamburger salad was really good. Apparently it was Kristy P first day! Very good with the customers which is key. Fast, efficient behind the register. Great job and great hire. Keep up the great work.

We love Earls! If you want a really good burger this is the place to go. Great food and Great place to watch all the fun cars a motorcycles go by. Foods always made fresh to order. Prices are pretty typical. They have a huge backyard for fun with large yard games. The Candy store will take you back to your childhood. Fun place to bring out of town guest to enjoy a meal.

Customer service was amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. It is fun to sit outside, rather rustic which adds to the experience and atmosphere Saturdays they do family movies The burgers are great and the fries next level. Seriously good milkshakes Next door is an old fashioned candy store.

Finally made it to this little Gem! I had the Goudarugala Burger and Cheese Curds. Cooked perfect and the Curds were best in AZ that we have found! Being from the Illinois/Wisconsin border we are harsh judgers in the Curds lol friendly staff! Will be back!

Cheese curds + caramel sauce = Funnel Cake?!

Hear me out: cheese curds + caramel sauce = funnel cake?! Yes, you read right! While in town scoping out a possible wedding venue, we stopped at Big Earl's for dinner. Our hostess introduced us to this twist as she learned it by someone from Wisconsin. Oh man, what a mind trip! But, if crazy combo foods aren't your thing, Big Earl's has patty melts, hot dogs, and, plenty of burger options to please any palate. Don't forget the shakes! There's limited indoor seating, plenty of outdoor seating (misters and yard games to keep everyone cool and entertained). Next door is a charming candy store with so many choices. They also sell shirts and hoodies to show off your trip.

Food, Service, ambiance, Connect Four, Jenga.. the staff is soo sweet. They turned the heaters on in the patio so we could sit outside with our service dog. Love this place. Thank you for staying in business for so long:

I am addicted to the Jewel of the Creek salad, so good. Burgers are good and the breakfast burritos are huge and delicious. This place is a fun and family friendly restaurant that we frequent.

Big Earl burger with green chile, fries and a Dale's pale ale.

The Big Earl's Burger with Green Chile might be might favorite Burger in town. I come out to Cave Creek to play golf a couple times a year and this place is always my go to place for a bite to eat when I'm done on the course. Being from NM, it's always great when I can find a place that serves up Hatch Green Chile on anything. Big Earl's does it right and I will continue to come back for more!

Such a cute unique restaurant! It's an old fashion gas station made into a fun restaurant. Most of the seating is outdoors but they did have limited indoor seating. My Dad got a peanut butter milkshake but when asked if it was made with real milk I was told it was a premade mix. They had all kinds of menu items one would expect from a "greasy eats " place. There's a cute candy shop next to the restaurant. Being gluten free I did not eat there. I didn't see any options for me. A fun place to hang out.

I stood at the front for about 5 minutes before being acknowledged, and when I was, I was just told to "sit anywhere." After sitting down, I wasn't given menus and ended up having to go get them myself. Another 5 minutes passed before a server came over. When I asked about the specials that were advertised online, I was initially told there were no specials at all. Then she said, "oh, like happy hour?" which just felt dismissive and rude. We came specifically because of the Taco Tuesday and happy hour deals listed online (which even showed a date of April 7), but none of that was honored, she said that those specials were for the RODEO only. By the time my husband and daughter arrived, we realized there weren't even tacos included on the happy hour menu, which made the whole experience feel even more misleading. Between the lack of organization, slow service, and not honoring clearly advertised specials, the experience just didn't match expectations. It's frustrating to choose a place based on what's promoted and then have a completely different experience when you arrive.

My husband and I decided to take a chance on a new restaurant while vacationing in Arizona…read more Normally, we stick with restaurants we've visited before or well-known brands, but this time we stumbled upon a charming husband-and-wife-owned restaurant called Confluence, located in the Sundial Plaza in Carefree, Arizona. We're certainly glad we did. Confluence offers a beautiful outdoor patio for dining, while the interior is intimate, with only six to eight tables and a small bar. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with warmth and character--you can definitely tell there's a thoughtful touch behind every detail. We were greeted by our bartender and server, Victoria, who also happens to be the co-owner. She was absolutely wonderful. Even though the restaurant was busy, she made us feel like we were her only guests. As we talked with her, we learned how she and her husband, Chef Brandon, are the entire operation and work seamlessly together to create an exceptional dining experience. The menu is intentionally small, but that's because every dish is prepared fresh to order. Chef Brandon's attention to detail is evident in every plate. The presentation is beautiful, and the complex, well-balanced flavor profiles showcase his culinary talent. We highly recommend the Gazpacho--it was outstanding. As former restaurant owners ourselves, we were especially impressed by how this husband-and-wife team consistently delivers such an exceptional level of food quality, hospitality, atmosphere, and overall uniqueness with such a small operation. Their teamwork and dedication are truly something to admire. If you're visiting the Carefree or Cave Creek area, make it a point to dine at Confluence. We don't think you'll be disappointed. One final tip: To ensure they can maintain the highest standards of food and service, they intentionally limit the number of guests they serve each evening. Reservations are strongly recommended, especially during the busy season.
